I don't know... I'll let you be the judges

Very solid lap times. Very, very solid.

Wait till you see my fails/penalties for the week. Actually have a race recorded where I messed up the strategy amongst almost everything else too this afternoon. Might do a vid just for it, crazy how bad things can go one race to the next.

Think of a car going downhill like dropping a hammer. If you drop it with the head up (MR or RR car), it's going to try to swap ends unless you have it balanced *just* right.

Right. Or like a lawn dart, all the weight in front keeping it straight. Probably only applies on sharp downhills I imagine.

Yeeeeeeeeeep. As stated above, I blew two wins through unforced errors.

I picked Corvette after seeing the board filled with them.

It's been the fastest for me. Good downhill stability. Tried a few more cars (Supra, Genesis) and they felt less stable down the Esses.

I have not been able to get the big low revving cars like the vette or supra to work. I know about the lower shift points but there is more to it. I see others running it well.

They nerfed my favored Genesis but it was about time to try some other Gr3 cars. The Nissan GT-R is wonderful (2:01.5 QT) with a race pace of 2:04:* on the good laps. Need to find another second for the race pace. The GT-R is squirrely in 3 gear and that is kind of fun/thrilling at the cost of some tire tread.

I am not using TCS but may turn that back on to see if I can find me some of that smoothness that @Groundfish has alluded to.

This tale is under the heading of "You Just Can't Fix Stupid". Race A. Got a little too aggressive in the final hairpin and bumped a car from that pointy continent to my south. Going down the straight, I moved to the right and slowed down to give the spot back. This fetid pile of fecal matter hit me at full throttle and knocked himself off the track. When I got to the main straight I slowed down again to try to give the spot back. You know where this is going. Yup, this testosterone soaked, machismo moron rear-ended me again, went off the track and quit.

So, my people tell me that this guy is an alien.
I threatened him after the race, and he told me I have no chance of doing anything to him.
Later, I exchanged pm's with him, where he told me he gets off on smashing people who touch his car.
Ok. Fine. Let's dance. :mischievous:
But the aliens don't act like that.
Judge for yourself if this is someone who should be revered.

Must be the extra ramming ability from having R4M in your gamer tag:lol:

For quite some time, I’ve noticed most people drive less aggressively when I’m on my R4M account. But, I’ve put those days behind me.

I threatened him after the race, and he told me I have no chance of doing anything to him.

Maybe my days in the trenches aren’t over. :mischievous:

,I’ve raced him before, he’s fast but very dirty, i mean very very dirty, i guess he’s doing it on purpose so he can get matched in lower split lobbies and he can finally do his last to first without proper challenge,

Yup
That's the guy. When I saw him later, he wrote "last to first" in the pre-race chat.
He started on pole and dropped back, but never came close to winning.

Looking at his stats he certainly doesn't look like an alien - more like a sand-bagger (DR = 38.9K), as @KiepeYai hinted at - or maybe it's an alt account?.
Btw, good quali time on race A @sturk0167 - your time is better than World Tour winner Rubilar's!.

He runs in the top split lobbies in FIA races, so he is a very fast driver. He's very impatient and pushy, I haven't had too many great experiences racing against hin.

You're likely up on his Twitch/YouTube channel, I know he runs a channel where he gives "lessons"
