Considering the rate at which I caught up to him in the chicane, I was going to attempt the pass. I first went to the left to attempt, he moved over. I then moved right, he tried to block. I even twitched a little more right & was almost (possibly 2 wheels) into the grass. He was hell bent on me not getting past him even though I had momentum. He turned across my nose. After that, we had nothing to do but let the penalty system decide. It handed out no punishment.

Sorry man the video contradicts everything you say.

1) He doesn't swerve at all. "Hell bent" is ridiculous, he takes the chicane, apexes near the right side kerb and stays right upon entry to the corner. I am not sure what else he was supposed to do?

2) At the braking point, just after the 35R painted on the road, you have no part of your car past even his rear bumper. Racing courtesy says you need to be AT LEAST at the C-pillar, if not at the B-Pillar. Your front bumper is not past his rear at this point.

3) He does not turn in on your nose, he maintained a consistent line, you braked late but were not in a position to do so and your nose hit his rear panels as he turned in to take the corner.

4) Your momentum and rate of gain is irrelevant, he has the corner, you are in no position to pass
 
I assumed he same thing, he was in no way shape or form attempting to actually race anyone. He was just out to cause chaos.
I have seen that guy in many races. I'm sure you know the type. He drives okay if he's moving forward, he always blocks when he makes an error, and almost always if someone tries to pass, and if people get even a bit aggressive with him, he goes on a killing rampage. I usually try to fake to make a pass, then dodge when he tries the divebomb. If I can avoid the dive, I can usually get away. He's one of the few names that I instantly recognize and watch out for. I should start writing them down...
 
Right now I’m at B S. I’m getting rammed every time race B. I’m doing fine soon I will be out of this crap, but play standards are just awful here.
I’ve done 3 so far...
There’s been ramming and diving each race, people hitting me, lol people at B don’t even try not to hit right now...
Horrible
This track was really fun last time I raced here but I’m sure not a fan of the racing, right now.

That's where I usually live. I was SR 7 and DR D yesterday morning. But today I'm SR A and DR C. Usually I am around the C/B devide. And usually it's because I either get too cautious and drop in DR or not cautious enough and drop in SR

This track was really fun last time I raced here but I’m sure not a fan of the racing, right now.

Weird, I was SB then SA last night, 5 races, only had an issue in one. Now, in most instances it has been me chasing someone so less chance of being hit I guess but generally someone within 1.5 seconds f my rear end.
 
What a difference a day makes.
Race A and Race B. Started DFL in both. Made my way up due to others penalties and incidents.
A 12th to 8th.
B 16th to 6th.
I only made on legitimate pass unaided by penalty or off track excursion on race B.
Both CRB's and gained 14SR. Hopefully the start of a better end to the week.
 
You must be murdering them pace wise.

Not so much. I had one race where I beat my q in race.
I’m 17k now. Much better guys are more calm. Last race I went 6-2 but not pace, just because 3 cars got penalized.
I’m using vette. I’m not very fast here it would seem, I just want to get back to where I can get into good rooms for Suzuka and try to stay there.
Below 14k B S was bad.
The left hander after the first uphill esses, it’s so tempting people can’t resist diving in low and shoving people off, just had it happen-no penalties given. 3rd 18k.
It’s so annoying when you wait behind a guy for a clean pass, carefully not touching them for 3 laps, you make a textbook clean pass no contact, then first chance they ram you off ROFLMAO.
Is there satisfaction from that? From cheating?
Canadian just did it to me last race...

Which FR car has the least under-steer at race B (not Supra)?
I'm gonna do a few Yamagiwa races.


I dunno, I’m using vette. Maybe AMG? M6?

Got rammed two laps in a row bottom of hill, and blasted off at hairpin.
Still 18k
No one was penalized for ramming.
That one was dirty.
My sr down to 95, because I brake checked a rammer.
They are so stupid, they try it at bottom of hill on wrong side of track..:)

I tried my hand at race B this week but after back to back races having the same exact racing incident with the same exact person doubt I'll go back, too close to FIA to afford a reset happening.

Started off behind this guy in both races and he'd let leaders walk away so I'd have to pass him early on lap 1 both races. He kept dive bombing every corner so I just let him by wasn't worth the penalties. Then the guy stops in the middle of chicane so I rear ended him twice 🤬
 
Lambo, GT,NXS are all great at this track. None of the understeers but none of them are FR...


I keep trying to beat my 31.6 set in the GT using Supra & GTR but I still haven't had much luck. GTR is definitely a great shout though considering it's usually a dog and in a bad way. Just be mindful of 2nd gear thru the final sector.

I tried the Corvette for the giggles but it really does hate the esses

Trust, the RX-V rotates a bit better than the Atenza. You have to adjust the BB to -2. I don't adjust my cars at all, but the RX-V needs the rear end tamed.

That gT-R has oversteer though. The rear whips around when too early on the throttle. gets tricky at times.
