Both Mazda’s are FR too in Gr.3, I’d think the RX Vision might be a bit better than the Attenza though.

Id recommend the Atenza, its like a less oversteery M6, so it should be less of a problem over the chicanes. If you drive it right, the Jag, WRX and Peugeot work fine, not as fast but can be very consistent over a lap.

7th to 3rd(but 4th). WRX and Supra were blocking each other for the whole race. Supra gets 1 second, for contact with the blocking WRX. LAst lap, I catch the WRX with Aston speed. It's sure enough blocking everywhere. Into the final turn, I stay behind and just as I move over to the left, WRX brake checks. 1 second for me. Glad I'm in my alt(A/S).

Which FR car has the least under-steer at race B (not Supra)?
I'm gonna do a few Yamagiwa races.

The Corvette is workable. As someone else mentioned, it’ll push through the esses. A little off/on/off tap dancing & it pulls through.

I keep trying to beat my 31.6 set in the GT using Supra & GTR but I still haven't had much luck. GTR is definitely a great shout though considering it's usually a dog and in a bad way. Just be mindful of 2nd gear thru the final sector.

I tried the Corvette for the giggles but it really does hate the esses

I thought of trying the GT-R. Tends to do well where the Supra does. Don’t know why.

As for the ongoing debate on whether I dumped someone for a win, here is the replay. If the guy wasn’t blocking, then why swerve over in front of me? Plus, he got a touch squirrelly trying to turn in. If you were racing, would you take the opening or just say “I’m not entitled to the corner/position”? I’m not personally looking for opinions, nor am I sorry for driving for the win.

Wait what, which one??

I'm fairly certain the Beetle is MR as well, although really never driven it.

I think that guys an idiot, my opinion though. I would have made him defend inside then launch it around the outside and hope it sticks. He probably would have run you wide and off track though I'm guessing on the exit.

Most people never expect the outside move but it works well with proper drivers.

3rd to win:eek: The two Supras and me pulled away from the pack. Aston speed negates the Supra cornering. I stayed with them on corner exits and the shaky(shakey?) Chicane. Aston is super stable through there.
ANyway, LAp 2, P2 Supra is being clean, but harrassing P1. P1 MOVES OVER and slows down. Lets us both pass and stays behind me. I catch P1, as it is shaky in the shaky Chicane. I get the overtake and circle around. As we get to a slow corner, P2 must have nudged me or went off track. It gets 1 second. The car wiggles and drops back. I grab FL and CRB.

Jumping back in the AMG GT to see the differences in performance.

@NoStopN NAh, that's too much movement by P1. P1 should have stayed inside.

Looks like he takes a centre line and wiggles as he brakes too late. This obviously closes your gap a little. The move was on and I'd call that a racing incident.

I would have gladly taken the outside since I did it to a Supra on Monday night. This guy fishtailed on 2 different laps before, so the outside move with him would have been just as risky.

A like wasn't enough. That is a sweet livery!

All the ladies love the Smirnoff

Yeah you really have to trust the person you're racing with a lot of the times. I know in the race I did the long sweeping left hander had a guy block a guy to his inside as I proceeded to drive around them both on the outside.

One more decent clean race C and I'm back to B/S. It's been a funny old day, some good games and then one where I lost 56 SR for mostly other peoples bad moves. Finally back to 9,550 and 77, made just over 1K and 20 last game so one more and it's FIA approved.

@Groundfish, I'm now down to SR 15, because of 🤬 like this.

There's a Japanese term called Seppuku, which means to fall on your sword, or disembowel yourself. The penalty system programmers might want to look into it. They are truly pathetic.
Jack Dorsey might ban me suggesting such a thing, but I think I'll be okay here. :D

Trying the Ford GT. That 5th gear is short. Have to shift to 6th for the first esses. Which makes 6th really long and no pull. Plus, the thing has no downforce like the Mustang.

Same just happened to me, then next race divebombed passed so I took care of him at the hairpin by introducing him to my friend Wally.
Switching in to a C for sr then back to B. B is a dirty dirty event.
Half these stupid crashes wouldn’t happen if people would turn on their tcs.
Lmao
STOP CRASHING IN FRONT OF ME LOLOLOL

You actually don't use 6th gear at all in the Ford GT

5th gear is good from about 130mph to 163mph if needed.

I shift into 5th just before the esses and pull 5th gear you should be peak power right before the left and downshift into 4th 👍 I know I'm in mid 31s with this technique

The car isn't like the Mustang and you suffer if you try and short shift the car. Feed it some revs that's what it enjoys.

I just used 6th in qualy to see how it is beofre the race. I don't drive it and didn't want to get caught out. Moved up from 7th to 4th.

It's okay. Hard suspension like the Gr.4 Mustang. Good pointy nose. Doesn't feel as fast as the AMG GT and Vantage. Kept the pesky Supras at bay though.

By that point the damage is done, I was talking early in the race at that point he is likely peeved that you pushed him off earlier.

This explains why we're talking two different languages earlier, both if us had different incidents in mind

Jumped in the Golf pic-ki-nic Basket. The gearing is more rally settings than anything. Helps, when accelerating side-by-side. Downforce could be better, but that ain't happening. Going back to the RX-V for variety and to louden things up. Noone is using that.

The corvette is actually a very serious weapon, but it needs the smooth inputs...
I’m 27k 82 SR so just made S. So after ten hours I’m still down 22k from where I was before the wheels came off at Suzuka, from 3k 1 sr to where I’m at has been 10 hours.
The GTR seems strong. Imo the Supra seems crummy from what I’ve seen, everyone loves to crash it. Overall GTR players seem strong but I hate that thing due to many times like many many times getting defeated by dirty players using it.
If using vette or other stability cars I try to attack areas of the track many fear. Hairpin. Final chicane. Bottom of hill esses. The Supra’s and beetles and ft1 can be mistake prone in these areas. The vette is very touchy on the uphill esses, but it’s maybe the best hairpin car in the game imo.
Imo people screw around with trying to enter hairpins wide and draw a perfect geometric u carrying speed the whole way.
No. Imo if anyone’s near point the car dead straight at that inside curb run tight as possible and punch it. It’s very very very beneficial to be able to enter hairpins right and hold tight. Jmo.
In the vette you can attack in the areas I mentioned and make the opponent nervous about your presence.
It’s a good move :)
I’m takin a break now, glad to be S.
Today I only was put off track once by a divebomb at turn five. All wheels over curb and onto grass.
TCS saved me many many times.

Edit lol twice today people missed full speed kamikaze punts against me in the final turn! HILARIOUS!

The driver I bumped on lap 1 & got a penalty for is not the same driver on lap 4. The guy on lap 4 spun himself out on lap one after I had received my penalty & gifted me the lead.

Ran a few B races. Mostly Supra, but tried the GT-R, the Aston and the Vette. Liked the Vette best besides the Supra. First lap out today, on my alt, meant to stay no Q but went over the line with a 34.8. It's been tough to pass, so I figured I would just qualify and see how I could finish. Worked my Q down to a 33.5 after a few races(in the vette) and was qualifying mid pack. Lots of good, clean racing in the top 8, but kind of dicey further back. Fought for a podium in one race, got 4th. Saved that one...good battle. Most I got a blue S, one CRB. Ended with a red S. Got a bogus penalty because someone got sideways and came across in front of me...I helped straighten him out and got 4 seconds. The last guy to pass me when I served it got re-passed, then got into me on the pia penultimate corner and took the position. All in all a fun time, though.
