Today first Race A and i'm in a grid with the yesterday's most disgusting creatures on GTS.
Those things must be banned! I mean not only from GTS, should be banned from all social activities!
I call one social waste, he replies "yes and happy"!
These uruk-hai like creatures which have the piece of satan in their souls are the worst enemy of humanity.
If there are uruk-hais i gots to be the Elessar!

I did what had to be done. Sr 99 down to 64 but was worth it!

Next week will go for Race C, believe it will be a lot cleaner without these idiots.

I do remember a Gr4 Ferrari 1 make at Autopolis once, so there is hope. But not much really. Cant say I am eager to see next weeks races at all, but A and C will probably get a look in. I'm not friends with the mountain so will have to avoid that place.

Daily A looks like it'll be the usual FF fest (Although I do hope they finally change it up and have a different drive line selection of cars) which might get a run or two from me.

Daily B will get a look in from me as I love racing at Bathurst.

Daily C I'll probably just do Free Practice laps to try out other Gr.3 cars and gain experience on my wheel as Laguna Seca is still a track I struggle on since switching from controller to wheel.

C will probably be the best racing, but B will be hard for me to ignore. I love the mountain. My SR and DR may not.

Hmm Autopolis FF and maybe a Megane or Stang on the mountain...
Maybe next week will be fun...

This morning i'm happy with my cigar and tea with 911 at Tsukuba and this creature again... Come on! Ok!
Brake checks me at start before t1.
I destroyed him again. SR99 down to 56 in just one race...
I called him "you are banned in my grids! Permanently!"
Now i'm proud and happy with my cigar and tea. :)

Yeah seems a very FF week. Did the Scirocco at Autopolis and the Meganne at Mount Panorama. Not sure if they are the best choice, but I am normally decent at FF cars and have put in a couple of ok times so will see what eventually gets meta (top of both Race A & B in EMEA at the mo :gtpflag:(won't last long))

Race C looks like it should be Lancer vs Subaru to me, but popped a 1:21 in the Beetle, just because I like the Beetle :)
I'm thinking 5 laps hards and then 8 on medium (you need to use both tyres and tyre wear is at 10x), but I may be off on that. Pretty impossible to overtake at Laguna Seca, unless the person in front makes a big mistake, so it is a bit of a strategy race.

Sounds like a good week for these two bad boys.

Been running a few at Laguna Seca. The yeetle is a solid weapon there, but with the way the tire multipliers are running and the ability of people to manage their wear is allowing plenty of other cars into the mix. I was having successful runs with the Lexus.

Ignore the poor guy who tried the F1. It wasnt pretty.

Also got plenty of people working to try and figure out the exact ways to manipulate the new penalty system already. Had 1 driver very good at that. Shame he was pretty bad at the actual driving part.

Haven’t played much GTS lately, had a few **** races in a row and it put me off a bit, also didn’t like the daily combos… check dailies tonight, hey I like Bathurst!

do 1 race (no quali) pretty average and gain 4 places.

do a single quali lap, still average, start P12 & gain 6 places

do another quali lap, nail a low 2:12 first go… start on Pole!

I manage to just fend off the Atenza behind on the first lap, likely to end up P2 or P3… but then nail the next laps, heading over the top with a 1.5s lead, the win is in sight!

Disconnected…. FFFFAAAAARRRRKKKK

I’m guessing next race I start mid-pack!

Funny, my K' Speed Score change for this week, after last week's Fuji Gr2 and Barcelona Gr3 races, is 0.00! I guess I'm pretty much leveled off! Both of my QT for those events counted toward my score, too, so it wasn't that they were outliers left out of the calculation.

The matching gods were kind to me and I started pole again. The disconnection gods also did not curse me this time.

EDIT: Backed it up for another win! I’m going to just keep this combo going until I match high enough that I’m average again.

Double EDIT: Next race started P2, kept on the tail of P1 for the first two laps then hugged his bumper over the mountain, finally caught at the end of conrod & went too deep, clipped him when I rejoined - waited to give the place back (P3 was ages behind), so crossed P2 but got a 2s penalty so ended up P3 :(

As soon as I saw the Daily Races for this week I was like "Yeah I'm going to use my alt for this week.". With that being said I used Daily Race A as a opportunity to familiarize myself with the other FF Gr.4 cars rather than sticking to the good ol' RCZ Gr.4. For today I used the VW Scirocco Gr.4 because my guys keep telling me to try the car since I happen to like the RCZ Gr.4 and after doing a couple of races with the Scirocco, I can somewhat understand why the Scirocco's one potent Gr.4 car now and I'm starting to like it.

Might use the Megane and TT tomorrow.

The Scirocco is my favored car. I will run it at Bathurst. Second gear is the weak point - avoid it at all cost. I use it to brake at devils elbow but that's it. I even avoid it at "The Cutting".

I would imagine that for race A this week, I’d want to put my BB all the way to the rear, right? I mean, it never feels like the car is even remotely in danger of oversteering when I’ve set the BB as such. My best time does put me well within the top 200 times for my region, but we’ll see how long that lasts as the week goes by.

One and done for all three races this week.

Fastest lap from last(10th) in Race A. Finished 4th.

20th to 8th, in Race C, with the Beetle. A+/A room. A fair amount of WRXs, were getting out of shape at the corkscrew. Plus, early pit stoppers on RMs.

RAce B, Started 14th. Finished 10th.
Post race, I thanked the Slophy player( for not jumping in front of me). They responded with a Thank you for the race. It finished one place behind me, after the RCZ and Jag kept fighting after the incident below. That Scirocco should have stayed out of it, when that Jag was escorting the RCZ off. Bad business.

The primary reason to go BB +5 is to conserve tires. Since A is no tire wear you might (personal preference, milage may vary) want to run something else. If you mostly trailbrake you can easily go BB 0 and have better brakes for it

Yeah, but doesn’t moving the BB towards the rear help to mitigate understeer, even if there’s no tire wear? Y’know, since those front tires are using most of the grip, being an FF car.

Panorama!
Mustang or VW or Megane.
Anyone get in a drag race VW vs Megane yet?
I think Megane can take it down Conrod and up mountain straight by the end of the straight...Any data on it or is VW the new META?

Autopolis!

VW is meta I bet

I left a Megane behind(or rather it saw my behind ;) ) in Race A.

It does. But mostly you just need to straighten up before you go on the gas. The real reason they understeer is because the diff is locked up under throttle. These problems are fine in lobbies with tuning where you fix the diff.

As @RacingGrandpa states BB+5 is not a "given" for FF cars. It is normally correct for "tire wear" races but not at other times.

At RBR I used BB+5 in the RCZ all week. Then on Sunday I adjusted to BB+3 and immediately gained two tenths per lap.

At Bathurst in the VW I am using BB+3. I tried BB+5 but I got some oversteer at "The cutting". I am taking a high line trying to keep the min speed as high as possible in third gear.
