Daily, weekly and monthly rivals

Today's was fun. I'm very impressed by how good the Enzo actually is. My expectations for it was quite a bit lower for a road car.

The Enzo a mere road car? :odd: Anyways, the 66 Mustang takes a spin around a rainy hot lap of Cadwell Park Woodland. Word of warning, the stock springs are quite awful.

So today's rivals event is a Breakout challenge at Tuscany Collina Town using ...2015 Ford Mustang GT, yes! again! :banghead:

EDIT:

...with unlimited attempts :odd:

The weekly rivals has the Formula rookie doing a pace setter around Donington Park National, it's pretty good.
For Friday's daily the Porsche 911 RSR is at Jerez GP for a pace setter.

Me too @IfAndOr ; at least the car was one I liked. I think I lost a lot of time at the left-left-right-right combination just before the tight chicane.

On one hand pace setters are very frustrating; I had maybe 4/10 successful attempts, the rest of the time making a mistake and getting an invalid time. On the other hand, they are good practice for consistency, which will hopefully carry over into race performance.

Thanks Jammy. I've made some progress from circulating at the back of the field in Sick and IfAndOr's race rooms, but have now realised it was easier to get from 10% off pace to 5% off pace, than it is to improve from there! Still, small steps.

Monday: Pace setter of the Lotus Exige Cup 430 Racing at Havana's Capitolio Pasa layout. I take this track as a visual benchmark for the game; It was very rough in the beginning but after some updates it has improved, still, lots of screen tearing and frame rate drops (Xbox One X.)

A coffin on wheels!
:P

That "coffin on wheels" is a classic! It is a bit of a boat to throw around though. Actually it's nice just driving it slowly up or down Azure coast. Probably best in a morning or evening setting with the sun rising/setting over the ocean. Very picturesque.

Has there ever been a Rivals event on any of the point to point tracks?

I'm fully expecting the Daily Rivals event for 1 April to be the full Azure Coast as a Pace Setter...
You have to handbrake turn around at the end and head back in the opposite direction? Twice? :P

Actually that would be a great idea.

Late Friday post: The Radical SR3-RS does a pace setter in Brno GP. Should be good!
I sometimes try a few custom races beforehand and I was having so much fun in the Radical that by the time I'd finished I never got around to doing the pace setter. :dopey:
