Daily, weekly and monthly rivals

I do like BRNO, but I was rather slow aboard the Radical, so not much fun.

Yeah, I screwed my lap 2. When I am working, I don't usually have much time for a Pace Setter.

Today's, I was all over the place with the Ferrari and ran a 1:56. Everytime, I was up on my time. I would run wide and screw it up somewhere on the track :banghead:.

I've just had my go - first time on the track and with that car. It went from complete hate (how the 🤬 are you supposed to keep the car pointing in the right way!? ; who the 🤬 built this wonky road?!) to figuring out how to drive that car, to complete love. I think the track suits it pretty well; almost like a rally trial with the tight corners and undulations. Managed a 1:10.5 in the end. :D

... possibly true. I've tried only once.

and undulations.
Yeah, depending on the speed of the car, there are a couple of airborne moments. Definitely my favourite of the Monument Canyon variations. Once it clicks you get to the end of the lap and wish it was longer. Rally trial, good description.

Edit. Try it in reverse as well - practice mode.

But I'd say that this track isn't really suited for it...

I'd say it's a great match. I don't care for most racing cars at the Monument Canyon tracks because they're such rough and bumpy courses with wonky bends and they just fling you every which way. The Quattro has so much grip that it doesn't care, but it can still slide the tail out just a touch to get around those tight corners quickly when you ask it to. That was the most fun I've had on a Monument Canyon track in a while.

Well, I guess that I can't complain too much being in the top 5% for January. I didn't play all of the events. Some event times were trash times like yesterday's Monument Canyon Mesa View 2:15.419 which was the first time on the full course. Unfortunately, I didn't really have time to learn the track.

Rapuna Park A, I was 1st place loser. I just checked and I am a second place loser now!

Yes, click it did. I'm not sure I'll see those dizzy heights again! :)
I was actually in front of the 1st placed ghost on my final run and then ran wide on the final corner and voided the lap. I did mutter to myself.

I know the layout quite well from running it in my online races, so that helped.

And welcome to GTplanet @Toblerone :gtpflag:

That combination didn't click. At all. The rear wanted to be the front and it never seemed to be in the right gear.

The thing with the Viper at Hockenheim was to take it easy at the breaking zones. But yeah that was a difficult one. Still enjoyable due to the very nice setting of the sun.

Wednesday Breakout: The Corvette Z06 at Willow Springs Horse Thief Mile.

I sucked 2665. I was creating a video to show someone from the career event. I got a 2700 and was missing points.:banghead:

But, I have got it down now! Just no more runs after the 2665.

Very late post: A rare visit to the Fiorano track aboard the Ferrari F12 tdf for a hot lap.

That was a difficult one for me. I have no idea how to get round Fiorano quickly. I'm normally in the top ten on Rivals on PSN, but today I was over 2s down... ouch!

That's exactly how I feel sometimes about some of these tracks. It's tough with a wheel and here come the pad lads dropping my time down.

The Algarve Pace Setter, my lap time is horrrrrrrible. I just can't figure out what's going on for me to be slow.

The F12tdf - one good run managed to get me into platinum but I gave up trying to improve on it, too many off track moments.

The LMP3s at Algarve is certainly not my best, room for improvement. I think getting the view right will help.

The Lotus at Oulton, in the wet! I haven't got a clean run in yet. I nearly did but hit a puddle that wasn't there the previous lap!! I'll have another go when after a few deep breaths. :)
