Uhm actually, Yamauchi said they are experimenting with damage and things like "when you hit the wall in Daytona at high speed its game over, your car is totally destroyed" and "we dont want that when you hit a ripped off mirror on the track, that it will total your car, this would be too frustrating so we are trying to find the right balance between realism and fun". This sounds to me like the PS3 is capable of a lot of that stuff.Kaz has said that if he's going to do damage, he's going to do it right. He wants it rendered in real time, and he wants each car to destruct differently depending on the force and angle of the impact. You don't have to know the limitations of the console to realize that it is extremely difficult to pull that off with GT5 Prologue's framerate, cars on track, and overall level of detail. Which is why most games don't have such a high level of damage.

If it were up to me, duct tape would be in every type of game, including "Barbie's Fashion Designer". 👍
