Damage only in WRC and NASCAR?

You can damage Ferrari's slightly in those games. I believe they take the least damage in Forza, and in Ferrari Challenge, their damage was negligible. Maybe this would be acceptable in GT5, but I don't know. I don't think Kaz would be happy with it, but it depends on the last word from the car makers.
They took plenty of damage in NFS IV and VI, at least not any less than the other cars in the game. Though admittedly, that was 10 and 7 years ago, respectively.

I Bet for damage on all cars, we will see falling bumpers/hoods,and fenders, but i think we wont see any rollover or complete damage...i just cant figure how forza made it!...rollover on ferrari, having lamborghinis and porsches...uhm, smells like a lot of money from M$ to ferrari porsche and lamborghini.

as i said before, im pretty sure we will get damage on all cars, ones will suffer more and others like ferraris wont suffer that much..

Maybe some cars will rollover???

It wouldn't seem as obvious (just a little) as some cars with damage and some with not. I'd be happy with that because at least you'd have damage on all cars, just not all cars having rollovers. The cars PD would probably be able to go all out damage on are the first ones that we will be able to afford any way! :D

The reason that they are allowed to roll Ferrari's is that Forza's damage is rubbish, it always has been. You could drive a Ferrari into a wall at 200mph and it would only have a few scratches. If Gran Turismo is going to have damage, Kaz is going to do it right. If he can't get damage on cars like Ferrari's and Pagani's then he will most likely limit damage to race cars.

At first, I thought I was wrong to think there would only be damage on WRC and NASCAR but I guess it's the sad truth. I was expecting Damage on all cars in the game. :grumpy: I hope they change their minds. Oh well this game will still be awesome! :)

i dont see why there wouldnt be damage on all models, if they can design the models to have individual parts, then assign them to a "damage system" then any car should be able to have it.

ONE THING I WANNA SEE IS CRACKED GLASS, maybe glass on the track, oil spills, fires ,f1 tires commin right out their sockets, flat tires from debris, debris period, smoking engines.

imagine bombing down the straight at clubman night stage, and seeing a mini cooper all set ABLAZE right at the exit of turn1.

That would be funny!

Well if a car would take less damage than a car in NFS IV it would basically take no damage at all. :lol

I just can't see the point of having damage on some cars, and others none.

Frankly, I'd prefer no damage over damage on only some cars.

If we have damage, it will be for ALL cars, I bet you.

I would say that from indications of the French OPM July teaser, damage is there in some form for all cars. It's no guarantee or anything, but I can't imagine OPM France putting up such a blatant image if they didn't know something we don't.
