Hi,

But Photos are much easier to add then a virtually driveable Car. Of course Most people won't notice, If all added F1 Cars behave more or less identical apart from engine Performance - but for a Lot of street legal Cars - a Lot of people would bei disappointed, If e.g. an MR2 behaves exactly like a Corolla in driving, Steering, braking etc. Might be OK 20 years or so ago - but today WE would Just expect a Bit more.

I simply think the cars from the photos should be in game. I wish we had a ton of f1 cars in game. If some brands barely have anything to show, then they should add more cars from that brand to the game, instead of photos. Have you ever seen the infiniti brand in gt7?They have a museum full of photos of their cars while the only car they have in game is a vgt. That is ridiculous.
I agree but you know its much easier to add pictures and a bit of text talking about something than adding every single thing into the game. Some like the C8 will probably come at some point but thats not how things work .

There is also Aventador SVJ in museum. So maybe we will see it in the future. Since we have 3 iterations of Mercedes AMG GT maybe we can have 3 aventadors :D

Surprised this thread is still going. I'd suggest just enjoying the game as is or move on to something different. Playing "what if's" and "devils advocates"must be exhaustinging.

All I've seen in this thread is "cars we expect because we had 'em before and newer versions, duh! Also tracks will be added. "I think previous ones because that's easy".

I think thats fair considering GT7 had less new to the series cars than GT5 Prologue on day 1 , and so far Polyphony responded by adding 9 cars in 3 months while GT Sport reciaved 25 in the same time frame . Oh and lets not talk about tracks because it gets worse.

(Also looks like you forgot all the brand new stuff shown here but ok ) .

To be fair im very anxious guy for the updates of this game because we will have a lot of content, sadly the game offers very little, of the rral potential that the game have, but we have to still be patients about it, we know what will coming, only we need patience and hoping for the updste of this month that maybe will be on monday

How are people still not getting that this isn't a "every car coming to GT7 in the future" list?

Some cars on this list won't be in GT7 and many cars that will be in GT7 may never appear in these lists until they're actually added.
This may seem like severe cope, but I'm hoping the reason why barely any recent cars appear in the datamine list is because PD is still sorting out licenses for the newer cars. Not very likely, I know, but a guy can dream, right?

Edit: Just realised Lotus and Volvo are in the datamines despite PD not having the licenses for those two. Well that certainly puts a hole in my theory... 😔

If this is actually the roadmap for PD's additions then I find the lack of actual race cars a little shocking. Except for the Super Silhouette Skyline that might go into Gr.4 and the VGT all of these mentioned cars are road going or vintage racing cars.

That's literally what I'm saying. A car being in this list does not mean it's 100% certain it will appear in GT7 and conversely just because certain cars are not on this list, doesn't mean they're not being planned. It just means they haven't been added to this list and no, not for licensing reasons since nobody is supposed to see this publicly, so they can include anything they like in here.

Point is, only PD know exactly when and why cars are added to this list.

I'm interested to know if the Australian cars are in that 2000 vehicle car list.
The FPV road cars didn't appear after GT4. Yet,the Tickford XR8 and Holden cars were recurring.
What was weird is, in GTPSP, they appeared, but I don't think we could transfer them. Something like that. I'm trying to recall.

I know the XR8 V8SC is under a different banner than Ford. Still, I'd like to know if there is leftover data.

I have a wild guess, since PD are now trying to bring back “ features “ more than cars/track I guess and I extremely hope that they gonna add “RACE MODIFICATIONS” option in GTauto and that would solve the biggest issue in GT7 collection which is race cars,, however of course the LMPs like Speed 8 R10 etc, would come in update.

Second thing I think the licensing and costs regarding it too exaggerated because PD is backed by multi billion dollars corporation and GT franchise is very well established franchise and those factors IMO makes the licensing things is extremely small issue for PD.. IDK what they are doing! IDK what is the roadmap for GT7 other than putting the failing Esport events in front of our faces

Licensing isn't just about the cost. There's parameters the manufacturers set when it comes to having their cars represented in a Video game.
