I really want to drive LFA in GT7 soonReally excited to see this. We have old classics returning such as Skyline Silhouette and Escudo Pikes Peak. But mostly I'm grateful for a bunch of Lotus cars coming up, considering the British sportscar maker was missing altogether.

Edit: corrected title
Why would the Avantime be coming? PD never scanned it, its been covered numerous times here as to why it's not real, its some ones 3D model in an entirely different program,Assuming this list is true and actually added to the game, Alphard will probably be added to the game at the same time as Avantime.
For example they added Cappuccino to the game and then added the Japanese Kei Cup as a new racing event.
If we consider that the Alphard will probably be added to the game at the same time as Avantime, or the following month, etc., and with that a race event for these cars like the Minivan/MPV Cup will be added, then these two MPVs on this list It makes sense.
The software shown was for a different function, by the way - Polyworks is not a modelling software, but a laser scan analyzer; of which the data had to be imported to Maya for it to work as an in-game model. Why would the Avantime be coming? There are no assets for any of these cars and the Avantime
🧐And the newest car on the list is a 2019

Well, the Cappuccino arrived as the HOT car, had to wait for it to cool down a bit.Actually there was a gap of one month in between the Cappuccino and the Kei events. Typical PD really.
Absolutely. The Evora that was pulled from GT Sport at the eleventh hour is ready to go whenever it's legally possible, and likely all the other premium Lotuses, especially those modelled last (the Europas and '11 Elise). So, something sorta occurred to me last night. Remember how Porsche was added late in the stages of Forza motorsport 3?
You guys think PD has the models of those Lotus cars already made, and they're just waiting to pull the trigger once they've settled the licensing agreements with Geely?
We'll never really know until Kaz tells us directly.Absolutely. The Evora that was pulled from GT Sport at the eleventh hour is ready to go whenever it's legally possible, and likely all the other premium Lotuses, especially those modelled last (the Europas and '11 Elise).
I do wonder why the licensing seems so difficult now, GT6 had such a tremendously varied car list, perhaps all the cars it carried from GT4 were part of multi-game deals, but I do wonder about some of the obscurer marques that got Premium models: is there a licensing problem blocking the Cizeta V16T? Mario Andretti's 1942 Hudson? LCC Rocket?
I think the thorn was other marques getting paid more than Lotus. If there is some animosity between Lotus and other makes, it’ll be about worth. We'll never really know until Kaz tells us directly.
I have a feeling the Geely issue probably has something to do with other marques.
David Jaffe said on stream that when he was developing Twisted Metal 2012, Sony kept getting in the way with licensing music for his game, (Examples being some artists don't like being on the same soundtrack as other artists),
We won't know for sure until someone from Sony or Kaz himself spills the beans, but I like to think Geely has some thorn in their sides with Mclaren, or Aston Martin. 🤣
I have the exact same feeling. I'm 99% sure that not only the '09 Evora and the '11 Elise, but all of the 7 Lotus models on the list are ready to be added since 2018 or so. If this whole story comes to a happy ending, I can easily see every Lotus there coming in a single update, at least those five road cars. So, something sorta occurred to me last night. Geely
I'm not sure why this myth keeps popping up.Geely
Forthcoming VGT cars yet to be formally announced are most likely under a non-disclosure agreement between the car manufacturers and PD, so they’ve probably taken their precautions to ensure that such secrets do not leak through a file system. It would make PD look bad to their partners. After all, announcing VGT projects is also a big deal to the manufacturers.Like I said some pages ago, i find it strange there are no vgt cars in that leaked car list. PD loves its vgt way too much not to make more of them.
Expected at least a vgt in every brand (even those not in the game right like per ex lotus).
It's been said Lotus asked big money for the license (on par with McLaren) and Sony said "nah".Absolutely. The Evora that was pulled from GT Sport at the eleventh hour is ready to go whenever it's legally possible, and likely all the other premium Lotuses, especially those modelled last (the Europas and '11 Elise).

I’d love to make a Saitama Toyopet GreenBuddy replica.Certainly, but then, and I’m not being sly/silly, many of those cars(duplicates, fakes, etc.) as we know, were filler for the series. The more realistic or less cluttered 100 hundred or so used cars will be enough for a start.
If we look at the past games and just pick one model for each, it’d be like GT1 and GT3 and GTS car numbers. What GT1 did, was make the car list bigger with RMs. Now, having the means of proper customisation(for those that choose to customise), may help to ease the feel of less cars than the past.
If we’re getting a 356 Coupe & Speedster, 930T, 964, 993, 996, 997, 991, KPGC10, R32, R33, R34, Corvette C2, C3, C4, C7, ‘65 Mustang, ‘69 Mustang, ‘71 Mustang, ‘15 Mustang, ‘20 Mustang, AE86, FT86, GR86, A70 Supra, A80 Supra, A90 Supra and so on with other brands, we‘re not missing out on much. Some of those gaps may yet get filled.
I guess at this stage… and trust, I can understand some frustration/concern about what used cars we are left to receive… I’m not worried about what we get. No one have to answer this, but what’s there to be concerned about? What’s the right used car to include? 100 of a random selection are still plenty.
Put it this way, looking at a real world “usedcar.com”, it’s probably mostly SUVs and pick ups. Small economy cars and family sedans/wagons and vans. Sports sedans and then, sports cars, at the bottom.
Past GTs gave us a normal van, a handful of wagons, normal & sports sedans, a few Pick ups and some concept SUVs. To cover all those in the GT7 UCD, would maybe take about 15 vehicles. Kei cars would possibly require some thought. I think we only had a low count in GT3 & GT5P. GTS only had the three.
PD may add pick ups and SUVs and wagons at a later date, if none are available on debut.
M,y feelings are mixed , assuming a big part of that list is true , cars like the Caterham 7 RS 500 truly excite me . But on the other hand am i supposed to be impressed by the R8 V10 Plus and base Chiron? . Congratulations PD you might add them one game and at least 5 years too late.

Yeah, I also think it would be fun to drive both of these but I had hoped for a previous Tii with the round taillights. Think it's just (sorry guys) the Suzuki Escudo which I do not want in the game 😅.The BMW 2002 tii and BMW 2002 Turbo.
My god, these things would be an absolutely blast to both drive stock, and tune the crap out of them. I wonder what engine swaps would be unlockable?

Of course this my opinion only.Don’t you agree this is such a subjective topic, though?
Thats true. The cars that interest you aren’t going to interest everyone.
Don't get me wrong ill be happy too , im happy for every car that might be added. I was one of faw people who didn't start posting negative things when they re added the 2008 Fiat 500 because to quote these people "it a duplicate" & "its useless since we have the Abarth " . But some cars are way too long overdue like the two i mentioned , it doesn't make sense to have the two most recent R8 LMSs on day 1 in two different games (some people went as far as to be disappointed because it wasen't the Evo II model even tho it was just announced by the time the Brembo trailer showed the Evo I) , and not have a single V10 street model since 2010.Some people might be really happy that the R8 V10 and Chiron might be coming to the game.
Indeed. It’s almost impossible to keep everyone happy.
Same here.I’m really excited at the thought of the RS500 Cosworth potentially coming to the game.
Absolutely not.But other people might not be. So… screw me and screw PD, right?
You know thats not what i mean.1929 Mercedes-Benz S Barker Tourer comes to mind. 93 years too late to get excited about?
