I want to be able to strip the copper wire from the Cafe and sell that. 😩 I wonder how much I can get for my helmet? Don't really need it.

It's nice PD added new events for Mount Panorama and Nurburgring. I was having fun on the historic Nurburgring race seeing what the slowest car I could beat the Countache with.

He'd have no problem answering that. Laying on a long spiel about it meeting/exceeding his dreams as a car lover, life times work coming to fruition etc.

Whether he means it is another story.

I'd ask something around him previously stating he didn't want people to grind the same races, in limited suitable cars, but yet we still we still have 3 or 4 races from near irs release that pay well In excess of everything else. Why is that?

So i sold the invitation bugatti because you don't need to have cars to make them count in the statistics.

BUT, now they released this damn bugatti menu book and of course i'm missing the veyron 13.... and god knows when i will ever get another invitation.

Screwed.

I'm glad the Chiron is finally on GT7. It was long overdue. And the fact it does not require a bloody invitation ticket is even better. All it takes is a little bit of patience and grinding.

I'm wondering if 25k for 2 laps at Nurb is some kind of bug. Maybe it was supposed to be 250k, but someone forgot that extra 0 🤔

PD doing PD things. They can absolutely produce a high quality game but they simply don't want to. I would even argue they actually hate us.

The latest update for Gran Turismo 7, v1.27, is now available, bringing with it five new vehicles in the largest single car drop so far...

Decent, not sure why it's so hard for them to add at least 20+ races at a time. Some people just prefer to play offline.

Wonder why pd won't add a 1 hour GR1 race at Le Man? Do you think it has to do with payout?

Would 1M race payout for a 1 hour gr1 race at le man be enough?

Or better yet a 90 minute race with 2M payout and a CRB of 2.5M.

I think it has something to do with how wonky GR.1 is in general, an endurance race would be hell on the nerves.

That and thousands of other questions are ones we can only ever speculate on, because they don't communicate anything.

My speculation/assumption is that they purposely don't want grinding for credits to be fun and varied, but they also don't want to be accused of stingy payouts in general. So their answer was adding some events that pay a lot, but only 4 of them. That makes people more inclined to get bored of the grind and buy some credits instead.

Well doesn't 1 hour spa pay 1 or 1.5 mill? So i don't see why not.

Obviously on its current trajectory it's seems unlikely pd will add that.

More likely a 3 lap race that pays 50k.

Horsepower ≠ cost.

The Chiron goes for 2-3.5 million IRL, and all VGTs are arbitrarily priced at 1 million.

I've been waiting for something like the 600pp race on the nordschleife. Even though the payout isn't high. I'm hoping it'll make up for it with enjoyment.

I am almost 100% certain that the payout on the Nurburgring event is a typo that'll get fixed soon. If the intended payout was 125k, that would make much more sense, and be in line with the other events on the Nordschleife.

On the other hand, if this measly 25k is the intended reward... I have no more words for PD or Kaz at this point.

I sold the Ford to get the Jaguar about a week ago and the trophy didn't unlock then. Today after I updated the game the trophy unlocked for whatever reason.

Side note: Need the Veyron to finish the extra cafe books but I haven't even gotten the invite since the roulette ticket glitch earlier this year......

Dunno why but got a update notice just shortly playing GT7. but no info on what that would have been. was one for an hour ago and one 10 minutes ago.

Since this site moves fast while the South-East Hemisphere sleeps, only thing aI can think of why this game has such few events:

The way Kaz/PD set up Livery Editor, Custom Racing and Sport Mode, it relieves them to create all the content that the community can do. No need to make all the liveries like they’ve done from GT1-GT Sport. The community does that. No need to make umpteen events at each track location. Custom Race is for that. Sport Mode players(no matter how few use it) do their thing with what ever leagues are formed.
I obviously don’t know if what I typed is true. Thing is, that’s what it looks like. Here are the tools, go do your own thing. Something that Kaz mentioned in a gtp interview, was about being amassed to see how the GT community was creative with the Livery Editor. I feel that sealed the fate for doing their old 16 GT500 liveries for each car(as an example). No matter whether they had to licence those liveries/cars.

Again, it’s this man’s vision. He felt like burning everything to the ground. Not realising players still played the old games. When he saw this(at the first World Tour), I feel he misinterpreted what the players want. He’s gone and created GT7 with some type of vision that moved further away from his original visions of GT1-4. We’ve all mentioned before through the years, we’ll never exactly know thats Why for everything he does.
