And this affects everyone how? Just pretend they don't exist. Not to mention that plenty of players don't need or want to "max out" their cars. What exactly would you do with an 1800hp Chiron besides laps around Route X?
What's the point of implementing customization features into a game that the best most players can hope for is to "pretend they don't exist"?

If players want to max out their cars, they shouldn't have to resort to rolling daily roulettes for literal years.

I see that, as far as GTP is concerned, the season of goodwill to all men doesn’t extend to Kaz and PD.
It does go both ways. Is 25k credits for 2 laps of the Nordschleife (when previous events on the track pay significantly more) while dangling million dollar cars in front of us in a FOMO shop an extension of goodwill from Kaz to the players?

Well from a personal level of course I wish everyone at pd a happy holiday and a good new year.

But from a game level not so much I mean yes they added the C8 corvette but that doesn't make up for the fact I still Cant buy the fxx-k.:(

Well, I'm not sure if PD added the new C8 Corvette in a realistic way. I was just 0,5 seconds faster than C7 Corvette. Isn't the C8 Corvette much faster than it's predecessor?
Tested it at Goodwood Motor Circuit and both cars unchanged. Was disappointed by the handling. Still too stiff.

Isn't the Giulia GTAm supposed to have an active front splitter like the Quadrifoglio? Doesn't seem to be animated in game.

Stop exaggerating. It has been barely over 9 months; hardly "almost a year."

Do you know the meaning of "expression"? 286 days to be precise. Which from many people's perspective can be "almost a year" since it's over 75% of the year.

But moving on...

And this affects everyone how? Just pretend they don't exist.

This is just massive coping at this point.

So... everything bad in a game we can just pretend that it doesn't exist and it's all fine... 🤡 Like what!? Where do you live? And of course this affects everyone... Special Car Parts, Invites and Engines can only be obtained via RNG with ridiculous odds. This has been a major complaint of basically the whole GT community since day 1.

Even now we have a guy complaining, and with very good reason, that he can't buy an FXX-K because it's locked behind an invite that he has to rely on luck to get instead of actual gameplay and grinding. This applies to the Special Car Parts and the Engines.

PD still doesn't get it.
25000 CREDITS for the race on Nurburg with a Guilia which takes me 16 minutes. If i ride 10 minutes longer on Tokyo i get 825000 credits. Where is the logic? I just don't understand this. Why are they refusing to give us races with decent payouts??
And another month grinding the same races to earn decent credits. At this point i don't see them ever giving us other races with high payouts.
I mean: is just so hard to give us new missions? Endurance races for 24hours.... What about new championships?

Last month was such a great update and this month they throw it all away once again. I guess will be waiting again 3 months to maybe see a new track/layouts.

Car selection this month is great.
The rationale is to drive for fun, not just to make money. Simple.

Miserable and greedy toads that want more paid money than anything. 25k is a slap in the face. I don’t even bother with those races they don’t do anything for me

I got the free Ferrari, bought the C8, Celica, and Alfa. Not buying the Bugatti... at least yet.

Did the Bathurst race in the Vette, did the Monza race in the Ferrari VGT, and the Nord race in the Diablo I've had forever and barely even used (I wanted something with a true manual transmission).

Of the two new cars I drove, I do like both of them.

Also bought the M2 from a previous update I never got around to buying, as well as the Lambo Veneno. I had the invite sitting around for a while and in fairness had ~36mil so not a big deal.

Still think race payouts should be tied to your collector level in some way
Does anyone think that invitations don't need to be in the game and the invitation cars should just be brought normally I haven't even got an invitation in like 3 months
Oh I get invitiations fairly regularly but it's always Aston Martin. PD must think I'm the biggest Lance Stroll fan or something.

Where is the fun in doing the same events over and over and over and over and over and over again.

These additional races are from the IMSA series.
At least an additional 42hrs just with endurance races, since we got a new track we will at least get 2 or 3 additional races on it.
Group 1 cars are not really needed for them, we could use more GT2 cars.

Total Time: 167hrs, maybe 168 with the smaller races on the new tracks

I saw this event and thought oh, perfect, just what I wanted, until I saw the payout. What the ****? Like 50k for one lap or 100k for two would have been at least consistent. Who figures this out so poorly?

Gotta say that I am a massive fan of the Alfa, truly an outstanding car. Looks and sounds a treat also is exceptionally fun to drive as far as I am concerned. Purchased two of these, once with minor upgrades - comfort softs, carbon brakes and racing pads and full customizable suspension and the other entire racing package. The later makes for a phenomenal and compelling drive - highly recommended if you haven't already got one of these bad boys.

This.

They don't even have to use a braincell. They just literally have to copy paste old events from old games. I don't know a thing about programing but I believe this is absolutely possible to do. I mean, of course both the PS4 and PS5 can handle long playing sessions.

Like I said earlier today, after watching PD ignoring us sooo freaking hard for so many years, all I can think is that they hate us.

And the custom race thing does not solve the lack of events issue. Even the Random Championship Generator in GT2 did a better job than what we currently have.

There's no need for that, PD implemented in GT5 the ability to save during endurance races (when you pitstop). No reason they can't do the same here with far more powerful hardware.

They are just being lazy at this point. No creativity whatsoever in the races that are implemented... Same old single race at TRACK X with XXXPP limit from REGION X... and that's it.

With the PS5, you pause the game then you just put the PS5 to sleep.
Wake the PS5 up the next day and resume the race.

shrug If I was so upset about it I'd just play something else. I bought GT7 knowing full well that some content was locked behind invites that were obtained at random. It doesn't bother me. Those who are terribly upset about it should have done their research prior to purchase.

Good thing the game isn't on any console other than the PS5 then!
You can pause the game and put your PS4 into rest mode too, y'know.

There’s really not much to do with a stock Stingray C8 in GT7 as it currently stands. Most of the American events are FR 550, which disqualifies MR drivetrains by default, and the American Clubman Cup 700 demands a few upgrades on a C8 Stingray. That’s not a problem per se, but I still feel it’s a bit much to convert a Stingray into a ZR1-esque specification. The car does fit rather nicely into American Sunday Cup 600, but these events pay so little they feel pointless to repeat.

So why is it that PD has made a game where many cars don’t really have a good place to go in stock form? It’s one of the biggest issues with GT7 for me as many cars are affected by this to varying degrees, and it certainly doesn’t help that every event below WTC 600 is region-specific in terms of eligible cars. The C8 would probably thrive in the European Clubman Cup 600, but it’s not eligible because it’s a Chevrolet. Just get rid of the region tags and we’d have a more playable sandbox.
