Jordan created a feedback section on the website, thousands of people voted and PD barely took any notice. I'm not sure how much more we as a forum can "throw our weight around".
I mean specifically reaching out and messaging a company.

And how do you know PD didn't take notice of the Feedback section? I'm curious to know.

And Nissan withdrew support for DW program so I don't think it's too good :(

Doesn't look too good. I'm intrigued by the timing the inclusion of the DW and the start of the ZOED project have both been present for a while. This seems like a decision made today.

Well I should rephrase, very few of the suggestions were carried out. If they cared about the thoughts of this forum you'd think they could have at least managed to license and model the number one requested car from us. Or maybe they have and are saving it as DLC. We'll have to see.

That's assuming the suggestions were capable of being carried out, of course.

And anyways, it's not like all of the GTP members cohesively participated to get any of those suggestions implemented.

But if 100k of us personally messaged PD and said "Put the BMW M3 E30 or tell us why you're not" I'm willing to bet we'd at least eke a press release out of them.

I might be licensing, as far as I understand, Forza/Turn 10 has exclusivity to ALMS and the ALMS + Grand-Am merged series in 2014, the license may include all participating cars, and Deltawing is a participator.

If not this then...

Because Polyphony has a close working relationship with Nissan they've probably been told by Nissan to not include the Deltawing.

Do you have ANY source what so ever to suggest that Turn 10 has ANY exclusive rights regarding ALMS? Or are you just one of the MANY people on this site who immidiately jump to the conclusion that if one dev has a certain car or racing franchise, and another dev doesn't, then it must be an exclusive deal? Jesus christ people, stop presenting rumours that you have no basis for, as likely possibilities!

T10 did have an ALMS license for Forza 4, it was marketed as "Official Game Of The American Le Mans Series". However that will no longer apply as the ALMS of course has dissapeared, and the new USCR is majority Grand-Am....

Correct, but Jawehawk is indeed correct to point out there is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that license was exclusive.

But was it exclusive? I have, and am currently, searching the web for any info on any exclusive partnerships, and I can't find anything suggesting such a thing. PD has the NASCAR license, but that doesn't mean it won't/can't be featured in other games. But my main concern lies with how a lot of people are talking about all these different exclusive licences, with no sources to back up their claims. It's becomming difficult to tell fact from baseless rumors.

We should have a single thread dedicated to listing known exclusive deals.

I think people are getting confused thinking licenses can only be exclusive, that's why.

Very true. Etechnyx have been making NASCAR games around the same time PD Released Gt5, aswell when updating to 2011 cars. And IIRC Forza has NASCAR cars too.

At the moment I know of only two.

Porsche - EA ongoing, all platforms.
All McLaren F1 cars with the exception of the 2011-2013 models - SimRaceWay, unknown if it's just the PC platform or all platforms.

Any others (Like the McLaren P1) as far as I know are just guessing and assumptions.

That's it! You nailed it Samus. :D

Makes no sense. They showed the car in many trailers, screenshots, promo materials, put it on demos and in the list. And than cut it off because it was not supposed to be in the vanilla version of the game?

It is stupid.

Its clear something very wrong has happened. Game publishes are very carful to not show anything without absolute approval.

If Nissan got a cease and desist regarding anything DW promotional then its beyond their control until everything is settled.

Sounds like the work of the evil EA...

Sound the siren, DeltaWing #0 has just gone missing! Get the investigation team!

I'll be seeing Taku Imasaki and other SCEA folks at SEMA tomorrow and will hopefully be able to get some clarification on the situation.

For the record, Kazunori Yamauchi will not be at SEMA or the GT Awards this year, as he has chosen to stay in Japan to help finish GT6.

Alway most manufacturers are in the crew and driveclub except porsche so no exclusivity within mclaren, keonigsegg, bac, ariel etc. There just to bone ie to source scan and add cars people want to driver but maybe never will in real life.
