I think one thing you have to realize is that a lot of the people that post here are underage, just starting highschool, or are in middleschool. Going from that, they're probably going to act that way, and jump on any chance to be stupid. There are also many immature members here that we all have to deal with, and that's just how some people are. The fact that it's the internet doesn't help matters more considering people feel like they can act any way they want to simply because they can hide behind a computer screen.

Yep, you're right. Most members here are young and at a point in their lives where they are really starting to find things out in life. That is why I support Alex 100%. If he were to say nothing and let things slide, then he would be doing a great disservice to both the offenders and the rest of the GTP community. If Darin and ITR were behaving poorly, then they need to be told so, and if they are not told, then they will be on a much longer road to maturity.
Unfortunately right now, they have not matured enough yet to realize that Alex is trying to help, even if he is displaying some frustration. But with Alex saying something, it may steer them in the right direction and may speed their process in becoming adults. This not only holds true for Darin and ITR, but for everyone.
I have no malice for Darin or ITR, but I do have a wish for them to become positive and contributing members of this online community, but especially in thier own personal lives.
Hopefully those here can learn from this in a positive way, and learn it in a safe environment that the real world doesn't always provide. Learning how to be a decent citizen and/or professional can be a very difficult task, and sometimes painful, the later on in life you go.

I for one think this "theory" , is so outlandish that I can't really understand how anyone would believe it.
I've seen the Pentagon after 9/11 with my own eyes. I lived in the area when this all happened.
Pictures fail to do the damage justice. You first need to understand that the Pentagon building is an extremely HUGE building. That is why the damage looks insignifigant. But when you look upon it with your own eyes, that is when you realize that the damage was anything but insignifigant. There is absolutely no way a missile could have created that kind of damage. Just something else to throw out there along with the very valid points that Der Alta has already made.
I think it's a shame that so many can be swayed by some stupid flash movie that provides no concrete evidence what so ever. 👎

Yes - the Pentagon has the largest floor space (as in the area it covers, the central bit not included) of any office building in the world. In fact, it's only not the largest building in the world by way of floor-space thanks to a couple of aircraft hangars. It's not like someone dropped a house - they took out one tenth of the frontage of, I say again, the largest office building by area in the world.

With that in mind, this is what happened when the fuselage of a Pan Am 747 hit the ground after being blown up over the Scottish village of Lockerbie:

Next up on the list, we have a comparison of the sizes of a tomahawk cruise missile to a Boeing 757.

Wing Span: 8 ft 9 in (2.670 m)

Boeing 757:
Length: 178 ft 7 in (58.5 m).
Diameter: 12ft 4 in (3.7 cm)

Don't know about you, but if I was an eyewitness, I'd certainly get the two mixed up.


Checking into it, there's some awesome stupidity - and spurious conclusions - floating around the internet about this incident. One site in particular seems to be saying that Flight 77 overflew the Pentagon, was masked by high explosives detonating inside and then vanished, but fails to answer why, to where and how come some eyewitnesses say it was a missile, but more say it was an aeroplane (with some saying it just "vanished" in front of their eyes). Half of the corroborative photographs it uses actually argue directly against the conclusions they've made... Plus, they post this image - which accidentally proves it was an object roughly 175 feet wide (by way of "clipped" lamp-posts on the flightpath):

Live4speed - No, it wasn't an F4-E, it wasn't moving at 650mph and it didn't hit a reinforced nuclear bunker. But the F4-E was empty and driven on a rocket sled. The 757-200 was loaded with aviation fuel, is about 70 tonnes heavier and hit a much, much heavier building, at ground level (the Earth is rather heavy too). They both hit nose-first though - with no attempt to save the plane, unlike most plane crashes. The laws of conservation of energy say that the energy has to go somewhere, and I'd say that the F4-E footage would be a close analogue.

Anyway that video made me think also from the Pentagon footage and the question about how you get a 747 or 757 into a 16 foot wide hole before the collapse of the roof to the footage of both towers smoking away and then the mushroom cloud rising from the floor levelthat was supposedly shown 1 time on tv on the day and never again after that until now, I also am a bit amazed that this footage was not released sooner?

Going by that video I'd have to say that something is being hidden! Not sure what or by whom?

Well which is it, a missle of a small airplane? Hopefully someone can distinguish between the two rather easily...

The simple fact that these "eyewitnesses" can't even agree on what they saw is proof that they're clueless.

The hole is only the size of the fuselage. The wings damage can clearly be seen on the first floor facade, but the BRITTLE wings would most definatly have been destroyed and NOT gone through the building. The wreckage of the wing is literally sitting in front of the building, and was burned away from the fuel inside of it very quickly.

Please notice that images of the WTC show mostly damage from the fuselage, not as much damage from the area of the wings.
