Quite an impressive line up of old and new US things there.

I finally found more information on my "Garage", it seems to be Art & Revs Luxembourg.

It was written on the side of this Jaguar XK 140 ROADSTER SE:

This also allowed me to find some more info on the next car:
VIPER GTS/R - ex. ORECA Chassis "C20" Works car from 1999 FIA-GT, famous Winner at : Watkins Glen 500 km - Donohue-Belloc, Hungaroring and Hockenheim - Belloc-Dupuy. Later won twice the French-GT. Extensive restoration from the chassis done in 2008 by Florent MOULIN ( I suspect owner of the garage ) to original 1999 specifications. Currently Vintage raced in Europe.

*Double Post*

GTR, for only $66,000.

599 GTO. I had to sneak the picture since they usually don't like photos of the garage. They also had 3 458s, but they aren't that great anymore, two red and one black.

Classic Car Club Hong Kong took over Central this Sunday. Some nice cars turned up. It's good to see that HK isn't just about supercars, Porsches and GTR's...

As usual, click pics for many, many, many more pics...

Stopped off at the Dick Johnson Racing Raceshop on the way home from the Sunshine Coast. There were a lot less cars there than in previous years (the cars are probably being prepared for the Legends race at the Gold Coast 600 in a few weeks time).

The Wife and I went to a small gathering of Italian Sports Cars here in Las Vegas. There wasn't quite the turnout as we expected, but some cool cars there anyway.

It seems that finding the person that owns the garage was not a good idea.
I got a request not to post any pictures of that place anymore, will assume it is genuine until proven differently.

That's a shame, but understandable I suppose they need to protect their clients privacy and they might see that as a contravention of that (in a very tiny way). I'm glad to say that (so far) I have only had positive comments from owners of cars concerning my photos.

I went to Ferrari of Houston last week. I regret taking more pictures. :( But I did get these two gems in a shop in the back of the dealership:

Ayrton Senna's 1986 Lotus 98T:

Michael Schumacher's championship winning 2000 F2000:
DSC02578.jpg

They also had a 599 GTO that had some minor roof damage during transportation.

And in the back they had a bunch of front bumpers that came off their Risi Comp F430 racers. I really wanted to take one home. They were throwing them away anyways, why couldn't I have one?

Highlights from this year's Legend of The Lakes. There was a lot of "more money than sense" automobilia here this year but hey, makes for a better looking line-up.

More images are still uploading, got about 70 of the damn things. Beware dial-up users. Will also have clips later taken on-board from a completely worked VB Commodore and the Merc 500SLC.

Mercedes-Benz 500SLC

R35 GT-R (Major surprise, especially with an event this small)

Lotus Exige rolling on Volks (Had an accident at the track I think, the whole left front was covered in race tape.)

Saleen S281 Mustang (Was here last year, and is still bloody sexy as all hell now)

XY Falcon (about 6 or 7 of these, most of them probably replicas)

Evo VI Tommi Makinen Edition

The team that turned up in the R35 also had these two: an R32 GT-R (almost certainly the loudest car there, even louder than the ex-V8 Supercar VX Commodore) and a Mitsu Evo X

Parked next to this pretty clean Series I RX-7

And then stumbled upon this C3 Stingray walking out of the parking area...

Replica Shelby Cobra near the gates

C4 Corvette Convertible

HDT Group A Commodore

Nice classic Mustang

Monaro GTS

Torana A9X

Part 2 of the LotL pics:

Mitsubishi Evo X - Peter Gazzard (won last year in a red Evo IX)

Evo IX - Peter Lehmann

Evo VII GT-A

Widebody 350Z (Not necessarily in good taste)

'08 Impreza STi

Old 'Stang with Cali plates

Flat black Mercedes-Benz SL-Class (not sure whether it was an AMG)

TA22 Celica

Evo VI

AWD Datto with a 350 Chev - Peter Mackrell (Won this year and the first two years; this thing's a beast)

FD Mazda RX-7

R32 GT-R

S15 Silvia

'Nother R32 GT-R

'Nother FD RX-7

Bugeye Sprite

Trio of worked 'Rexes

Tricked VB Commodore

R31 with a supercharger lurking under the bonnet

Nice Beetle

Holy Guacamole!

Why are the tyres wrapped in cellephane? Kinda odd really.

Also, they probably weren't allowed to give the bumpers away by the Risi Comp team who would have protected their stuff from being illegally resold or something like that.

Collectors are that anal about a tyre "spoiling"?

Thought that lived for some time before totally falling apart. Unless of course, they're talking about racing ability of the car, which I can see the need for that.

It's so they don't pick up crud when they roll the car around.

Not a big deal when you're about to hit the road or track, but you don't want that junk on your tires if the car is getting shown somewhere.

-> Couple of E-Types for sale (USD$80,000/each) at Gaudin Jaguar here in Vegas:

Great Pictures here again, in Luxembourg the Porsche Club showed their goodies, not in GT5, but in this thread:

Driver Source apparently had an F50, so I went to check it out yeaterday.

But I found this, and I was way more excited about this that even the F50!!!

The actual Dharma Initiative van that was used in Lost!

Found the F50 in the vault, parked next to an Enzo!

Ruf CTR2 came out of the vault and parked behind the Dharma van.
