Thats it for car shows until I might get to go to the Detroit Auto Show in January but its not official that I'm gonna go depends if we get bad weather during that time the show is open.

The vette swapped Miata was one of my favorites along with the Morgan 3 wheeler.

heehee, I was being silly since I'm a proud Z31 owner. Lots of great stuff in there from you, too.

But just to make you jelly, since the 3-wheeler was one of your favorite spots, here's my WILD spot of an ORIGINAL Morgan 3-wheeler! Probably my personal favorite spot (though that's hard to say, of course...)

Meh I'm not really jelly I'll probably see one eventually. If you didn't see it I saw that 32 ford again but it was having engine problems I think after I took the pic the owners started to push it up the driveway as I passed it.

I hope you do! Maybe you'll see one of these, too (the other contender for my top spot.. or the 300SL I've seen a few times...)

None of those yet unless I go to a mueseum. 3,406 pics now on my Ipod touch after going to those shows plus the other car pics I have on it.

Hi everyone, here's more of my random car show pics:

Awesome, thanks for the ID!

It's a 340R. Probably less than a dozen in the US under the Show & Display law.

Great! Had no idea it was that rare!

+1, great post! half a dozen cars in there I'd love to get ID's of...

Which ones? I may be able to help out.

Lincoln Continental Mk.2?

@xXKingJoshXx I incorrectly wrote Miller-Durant? It should be Milton-Durant Race Car. Sorry about that.:dunce:👎

In the link it's ID'ed as a Milton-Durant.👍

Ferrari 550 or 575, I can never tell the difference. Can someone help me?

The differences are: The 575M has badging that says 575M on the back spoiler lip, the 550 doesn't. The hood scoop on the 575M is bigger, the headlights are different, and they're no lights on the inside of the radiator inlet on the front. If you still can't tell, then look inside. The 550 only came with a 6-speed manual. The 575M had a choice of an "F1" paddle gearbox.

That's a 550.

went to what turned out to be a small British car show today (owner of the TR250 I spotted yesterday told me about it.) I thought a few things would be nice to share.

Norton Commando 850

Morgan +4

Europa

Esprit

Elan!

Some sort of Triumph...

Velocette

Hey, I've seen like 12 Evoras, 20 Elises, 8 Europas, 15 Esprits, at least, mostly at a great British car show I went to last year. This is the first Elan I've seen, only one of 6 in this color in the US, and the very last Elan sold in the US. So yeah, Isuzu engined Elan kills an Evora for me in terms of spotting. Performance? Sure, Elan sucks. Miata/MX-5 killed it. But still more interesting than the rest of the Lotus stuff there (though it was great to see the original Lotus 7, too, except I've seen several Caterham's so it wasn't that special really.)

I agree, however there's two of these Elans that live near me. One is red and one is yellow. They are just funny to me because its such a great body that was wasted with that stupid crap engine...

Visited the new car museum in Tallinn that opened this summer. So far there are 35 vehicles, but they plan to add more next summer. They are working on Aston Martin DB7, Jaguar XK120, Mercedes 300SL Gullwing...

Cool! And amazed I've never heard of Tallinn, a national capitol, and looking it up, Estonia is smaller than Ohio, and has 1/8 the population!

Posted these in the F1 thread but wanted to share them here aswell.
9601501618_dbb54459c1_z.jpg

Since I assume not many people know what they're looking at in here, I'll explain. Dinalpins are made-in-Mexico Alpines. Dina de Mexico -hence the name Dinalpin- got the license to build the sporty cars in here when mexican laws mandated that 80% of every car sold in Mexico had to be made in the country.

They are extremely rare even here, with less than 600 made in all body styles, I think that there's less than 100 roadsters accounted for, so that car is really really rare. It must be quite invaluable in Europe, I don't even want to imagine the kind of coin they paid to get it over there. Very cool picture.
