If you're only expecting Paganis, Ferraris and such the thread will be dead in a matter of weeks.
You're right about some photos being way too unclear for the car to be seen, not going to argue with that.
As far as quality goes, sometimes I have a DSLR with me but I doubt many people here do so I'm not going to make any remarks if it comes from a cheap cellphone.

That's not what he said though. He's not expecting Paganis and Ferraris at all.

He said he knew they are not all those examples. But should at least be interesting and somewhat 'rare'.

The post they're referring to is filled with longshots, vans and other normal routine stuff.

I saw better getting my blood drawn this morning.

A Jag XJ L supercharged
Porsche 993
BMW M3

I didn't even bother with pictures. Those cars are there daily.

Exactly.. a Ford Pickup truck anywhere in the US is about as rare as hair on a cat. Same with the Mustang GT, regardless of the color scheme.

2 small ones today.

Supra (STOCK!! Did these come in cabriolet/convertible form?)

Chevy...?

late 40's Mercury? (I have no confidence in this guess...)

old tow truck!

Mach 1

Z06

E39 M5, only the 3rd I've seen

Your M3 isn't an M3. It's missing the exhaust on the other side. But that tow truck is one of the coolest spots I've seen!

E39 M5, exhaust is off to the left.

Edit: crud, you're right... so I've still only seen 2 E39 M5's...:(

That's a Ford Fairlane Thunder Bolt. Most likely a tribute or clone, still a awesome muscle car spot.

And a 54 Buick RoadMaster. Yeah 54.👍

911?

Chevelle. Love how on this pic you can see the pine needles or whatever coming up from the tires. Thank you DSLR! :)

Chevy...?

It looks more like a Ford Galaxie to me.

Yep ... '64 Model

HOWEVER - This car is sparking my interest. I'm 1/2 thinking it could be a Thunderbolt. If it is, then damn Goddin, you win it for the spot of the year. Then again, it could very easily be a great clone rendition.

None-the-less ... excellent spot.

EDIT - playnthru got me on that call by a few minutes. My internet was lagging.

Wow, that would be nice! 657hp at 7500rpm?!? And ran on 7" tires, which looks right. Being from Cleveland, Ohio, it's quite likely it's real. I'll ask around.

Please do find out.

I'm making a 45 minute trip up North to see some of these things you have up there. Down around here, I / we see a lot a good things, and there are some cool things down here, trust me, there is. Problem being is that I'm usually driving and can't get around to getting some pics. :grumpy:

Yup, and also the wrong wheels and the squared off mirrors instead of the oval ones.

This looks like the 540i with the M-Sport package, which actually, is fairly rare in and of itself. Those are quick, you get 90% of the performance for 75% of the cost.

Pretty sure it's a '63 Galaxie, the grille is wrong for a '64. I think the squarish roofline is throwing people off, however the Galaxie was sold in a "boxtop" variant, which I think this is.

The Thunderbolt also doesn't have that grille.

Yeah great point! It could be a 63 Galaxie. You're right about the grilles being different. A Galaxie is a little bigger car than the Fairlane too. That car appears to have some rear overhang, hmm?

Still a cool car and a great spot I think. Good call.👍

Okay, now the last part part of goodies from Tokyo. I hope theese are enough good for here. :)

Yes, pics are good enough! Though I can usually do without Cayennes...

And isn't the unknown BMW a VW rabbit? Was the 3rd unknown a Porsche or Evo/Impreza?
