Today was a decent day:

Lancer Evolution MR: Still one of my favorite cars...

Cadillac Catera Delivery Car: Odd...

Chrysler Sebring Convertible: I think its my neighbor's new car... Its the first I can recall seeing. Although, I would have gone with the hard-top...

One problem with my 'rare' spots is that they're all rare as trim levels, but not as actual vehicles. Yes, the 365 GTS/4 is rare, but only as a convertible - if you included the coupes, they made many Daytonas. Yes, the Azure Mulliner is rare, but there are many Azures out there. Gallardo Nera is uncommon, indeed, but as a rule Gallardos are everywhere. Just once I'd like to see a car - like the MC12 - which is rare in absolute terms. Six seems about right - there's one registered in Oregon that keeps getting spotted in Canada; we all know about the one in Michigan - how many are in Texas?
There's 2 if you count race cars.

The first was Risi's #35 MC12 which I believe they still own. The 2nd is Ferrari of Dallas'.

Although, I have heard that Ferrari of Houston might have acquired one.

Except it has a HUGE ass

Agreed.

Damn, that's an awesome looking child seat!

Saw this last night:

Sorry for the crappy picture quality, my phone doesn't do night shots very well. Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's a different one from the one I saw the day before. This one had an actual license plate (300Esomethingorother). That's 2 SLR's in 2 days, I hope this trend keeps up!

Time was I'd have agreed with you. Then I saw a 456 on the road. In pictures, it's graceful and beautiful - on the road it looks like a Camry. Prior to June 2006, when I saw my first one, it was my dream Ferrari - a must-own. After three sightings, it's a vehicle I don't plan on ever owning. Not enough presence, not enough awesome. Yes, it's better than the 612, but I'd rather a 612 - at least it's noticeable.

I gotta be honest, last time I saw a 456, I thought it was a 612 at first. I love 'em. They are subtle and low-key, and yeah, almost everyone who has one should've gone with the 550, but I still really like the 456.

I will always love how the Sebring with the soft top loses just as much trunk space as the Sebring with the hardtop when the top is down. Its hilarious how many corners Daimler cut with that car.

I'd buy a first year Mondial before I bought a 612.
Anyways, random crap!
Subaru Baja and C5 'Vette:

Subaru Baja #2:

Jag XJ (I know it doesn't count, but it was there and I had the camera):

New Ford Edge behind what it will probably replace:

New A4:

A nice Chevy Nova and a nice 280ZX (my favorite of teh early Z-cars)

Probably my two favorite SUVs:

My bum friend who bought a third Corolla and didn't tell me (if it matters, the newest one he bought is the tan one):

Volvo 240!

Impala and a Lexus:

Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe:

This eccentric thing, which I assume is an RV:

Hyundai S'coupe (after I took the picture, the guy began following me):

This silly thing, which was undoubtably an expensive RV:

And a Buick:

Well, my thoughts were that the Sebring soft-top exists only for rental fleets, but I guess I was wrong... I've only seen the hard-top at the GR and Chicago Auto Shows though...

Anyway, the Aero Coupes rock! There was a guy around here a while back that had an Earnhardt-styled car like that for a while, and it was awesome. I've always found it surprising how many people deck their cars out like NASCARS here in Grand Rapids...

Nice sunny day at the beach yesterday with a few tasty cars passing...

Got pics of the following (post later)
- Porsche 964 RS 3.8 in yellow
- Lamborghini Diablo VT in orange
- Toyota Chaser Tourer-V in black
- Porsche 997 Turbo in black with nice wheels
- Numerous Maserati Quattroportes (getting very popular here now)

...and seen but no photos:
- Two Ferrari 360M Spiders in yellow and gunmetal
- Two Ferrari 360M Coupes in red and yellow
- Ferrari 612 Scaglietti in grey
- Aston DB9 in black

Aren't Aerocoupes pretty rare?

Somewhere around 6,000 I believe. So yeah, I'd call that rare. I've seen one before, but had to do a double-take before I realised what it was.

I saw a new Ferrari today. I don't know whether it was a 599 or a 612, as I was too far away.

The dealership in the back round of Opendriver's pics is really nice. Ive been in there. They sell lots of Panoz's. When I went it, they had some Porsches, 4 Panoz's and a Ferrari F355. Along with a Porshe 916 (1 out of 11 prototypes!!!) but I had no camera. They 916 was AWESOME and sooo rare. I believe the price was $325K.

Few days ago saw a Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo. I don't know if it was anything special because it had black rims. *shrug* I just passed by it while it was filling up at a gas station and saw it long enough to know that it was... Yellow, A Lamborghini Gallardo, and it had black rims (but they were Gallardo rims, not aftermarket)

EDIT: And it was convertible.

No offence, but what's so "good" about seeing a Hyundai SCoupe, a Montero or a Corolla?

Am I missing something?

Anyone know how rare or not Mondeo ST220s are? I saw my first this morning coming to work.

They are fewer in number than BMW M3s...

especially here, where the M3 badges are dirt cheap... anyone with a 316i goes on putting badges all over their cars.

Pity it was so dirty, else I would've taken a pic of it... if I had a camera too

Hyundai S Coupe are quite numerous over here (sadly) though they are disappearing quickly.

Well near me is a very popular RAF camp probably the most famous of them all and all pf camp seems to own one, I see atleast 4 Mondeo ST220s everyday. They are very popular around here.

Yeah ST220s aren't particularly rare, less so in my lovely "Ford" hotspot.

I'm fairly sure I saw a 99-04 Mustang GT today. Nothing especially rare, I've seen a few now.

Except this one was still wearing Florida Plates (Instantly recognised the "Orange" plate from when I was holiday.). :odd:

No pic, but no doubt a chance to get one another time.
