Its free advertising. Don't knock it.I was just about to take the picture when the van parked next to it.

The first one - on fussy, artistic merit, the first one is better than the second because of the overlap between the front of the 'bach and the rear of the Royce doesn't look right on the second shot.
The Maybach reminds me of something but I can't think what... a hearse maybe.
I'd still rather own one of them than the HHR SS. It's so pointless to make an SS model out of something that isn't even remotely sporty to begin with....
And the Calibur is sporty...how?
Because at least it somewhat drives like a sporty, low-model Japanese V6. I'm sure the SRT-4 is sporty enough over that, and will drive even better, but there's no way I can believe a HHR to drive like a Eclipse or any other low-model Japanese sports cars just because it has SS on it.
That is one sexy Volvo.
Personally I wouldn't take either, The Phantom or the Maybach. I don't particulary like large executive cars...
I think he was talking about the cars. Or not, because I did comment to him about a stupid Cadillac ruining a shot of two Phantoms parked very similarly to the first MayHock/Phantom picture.
But really, I don't think Doug has the most artistic eye on the planet. He likes clear, descriptive shots. When he wants a pic of a Murc he wants a pic of a Murc, not of blurry whisp of emotion.

You really need to drive a Caliber if you think it's sporty in the least bit.
Very very true. I can be artistic when it comes to landscape photos, or scenic photos, but a car's a car. I'm not going to be able to display anything in these photos that a magazine photographer cannot do with his pick of lighting and the ability to place the car wherever he wants. Mostly, the point of these pictures is to display what an exotic looks like next to normal cars. Even I don't get to see that as often as I'd like. I think the photos typically accomplish that goal.
What the heck sort of tires are on that 340R? I've never seen a design like that before.
