The space between the tails and the very brim of the lip on the back of the DB9 gets bigger and bigger every time I see it. The same thing happened to me with the Vanquish. Now that I've noticed it, it's going to kill it for me. Eeeee!

That means I covered BOTH of Maserati's rare trim levels of the Quattroporte (today!). I've now seen five Sport GTs, but the Executive GT is elusive as hell (for several reasons - wheels are the same is a big one) and I'm so so glad I finally saw one. Very hard car to see.

So much for that then eh doug! :P
in fact since you can tell the difference, would you care to enlighten us?
(not that i'll ever see one in the crappy UK)

It's crazy - none in a year and then three in a week.

The sole exterior difference is the "Executive GT" badge (blown up in two of the three photos) mounted at the base of the B-pillar. This badge is not present on standard models, and says "Sport GT" on the Sport GT models, though those are quite easily identifiable by their different wheels.

For comparison's sake, here are all three models:

Check the B-pillars - the differences should be notable in these photographs.

And thats the only difference!? Im sure there are some performance differences, interior too maybe but seriously they could have made a bit more effort on the outside!

Just found a few more pics of the front of the quattroporte and exec gt and it appears the front grille is also different.

Yeah, it seems that chrome accents and a different grille are different too.

The interior is radically different (wood wheel, suede roof liner, standard luxury pack) but of course you can't see these things from the outside.

if thats who i think it is he has an insane amount of cars (for those wondering he has an enzo, slr, focus st,599,lookin at a veyron and a few others) that gt is the first one in the uk.

If it's who I think you're thinking of (Pistonheads?), he's a car valeter and none of the cars are his own.

How did that go on the list? His old car from the teenager days?
nah its a new ST he had a focus before and it never let him down.

that was brought up several times on the board but he has turned up at several meets in the cars.

Yes - he's a car valeter. He has access to the cars. He also admitted to being a car valeter.

I guess nows not the best time to say im actualy a valet boy....and dont own all these cars....hahahahahahah.

you missed the next part :P

So which was the lie?

He turned up on Barryboys too, to whore the fact he had a photo of some expensive cars. We requested custard proof (V5C with a tin of custard in shot). This has yet to be provided.

Photographs of, and turning up to meets in, the cars proves naught but he has access to them.

true it shows he has access to them but if he was a valet then no doubt some of the owners of the cars would be on that site but none have came forward, also reading the thread where that quote is theres a few memebers saying they have met him at different places with different cars and where the cars are kept(if he was a valet i doubt some of the owners wouldnt be too pleased if he was bringing people round to where the cars are stored so people will know where thy are) and hes been spotted around driving the cars including the enzo.

I've been spotted driving a 911 I don't own and, in a couple of days, a Mustang GT I don't own either. Both quite enthusiastically.

Seriously, he's lied at least once (he's stated he owns them and he doesn't). All we know is he has access to the cars and that the ASBO is a bit of an incongruous (though not impossible) "runaround" for someone with an Enzo, an SLR and a Veyron. He's met a couple of people with the cars (has access to them) and shown where they are stored (has access to them) but is surprisingly resistant to a simple proof of ownership...

true but he has been seen on regularly driving the cars, again that might show he has access to them but if you owned the cars would you let a valet drive them on a daily?(not trying to start an debate just a curious question) i know some people can be nice but i doubt that nice! there is a guy that normally comes to knockhill and his daily driver is a £100 pug 405 TDI....he also owns a gallardo spyder,Tuscan S and a maser 3200

I think that guy famine and holden are talking about is indeed a valet. My old mans work has loads of rich city high fliers and their expensive exotica is looked after by one man who has access to them all and takes them out from time to time as its not good to let the cars just sit.

Saw the Rover Mini again, got a slightly better picture of it.

And a Bently while I was leaving the antique show the other day. I haven't seen a Bently in Michigan in ages.

i partied at my brothers house saturday night, and sunday afternoon i was on the highway heading back to my house and all of a sudden i hear a really low distinctave rumble, and all of a sudden a pack of 8+ subarus go past me. im assuming all from a shop on the outskirts of town that only midifies subarus. the best one tho was a RHD 22B, blue with gold rims.

^ Snap. Between us we saw almost 10% of the world's officially exported 22Bs (if indeed both of our spots weren't grey imports).

They never officially exported the 22B to Canada, and import laws only permit cars over 15 years old into the country, his was a look-alike.
