Not to sound like a penis or anything but WRXs? Supras? Dont get me wrong nice expensive fast-from-the-factory cars, but what happened to MAKING the car fast?

It doesn't make any difference. If you see it and you consider it to be rare, post up photos of it.

And, not to sound like a penis or anything, but you've posted up a Civic and an Integra. That's all that they are - in response to the question "What do you drive?" the owners respond "A Civic" or "An Integra" (or "A modified Civic" or "A modified Integra"). Call me strange, but there's hundreds of thousands of each and they just make me shrug.

Mind you, I like a nice, clean, stock DC5.

But as I said, if you see it and you consider it to be rare, post up photos of it.

I've passed another one of those "Club 5er" meets yesterday, the only automotive club in Israel :P

It's for those with cars old enough to have just 5 digits on their plates - which meant, a pristine-condition Alfa Romeo Spider, an even-better condition Ford Model T and Model A, and the highlight (for me) - a shiny red Jaguar E-type Cabriolet. But, they don't count, being a carmeet. Will take the camera next week though.

Today...

HONDA-111707.jpg

Clever!

e_type-111707.jpg

I almost never photograph Jaguars, but I also almost never see E-Type coupes. Texas plates; yellow; being driven hard in traffic. The passenger door wasn't shut properly, which is why it's a bit askew - the panel gaps aren't that bad (despite its being British).

Another SRT-10 convertible.

arnage-111707.jpg

Bentley Arnage with California license plate parked (correctly, please note) amongst normal cars.

Maybach 57S on Florida plates... first at a car wash, then at mall valet. These things are huge.

57s-111707-2.jpg

Maybach 57S on local plates. Weird story with this one - it was originally silver (I have several photos of it in silver) but was repainted by the owner to white. I saw it in white on October 11 and thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, but indeed, it's a respray (or an entirely new car, which is unlikely).

v8_vantage-111707.jpg

V8 Vantages abound! I think this picture goes a long way in displaying how frequently I see them. I'd seen the black one before, but the gray one is number seventeen in as many months - and non-unique V8 Vantage number 32.

Florida plate on this extremely rare Porsche 911 GT2.

Cruising along and I came up behind this:

clk63_black-111707-6.jpg

Doesn't get much cooler than the new Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series.

clk63_black-111707-5.jpg

To my knowledge Mercedes is making only a few hundred of these total. Georgia license plate red 'CARMEL' and the young black driver noticed me taking the photos and waved and gave a thumbs-up. Oddly several hours after these photos, he passed me on a backed-up highway offramp several miles away allowing for a few other photos:

clk63_black-111707.jpg

It's very cool in person, aided by the fact that despite its 500-horsepower engine capable of 0-60 in 4.1 seconds - and its $135,000 price tag - no one has any idea what it is. The driver probably gave me the thumbs up for being one of the few to notice it!

Hope you liked today's spots!

@M5Power nice E-Type.👍

Honestly, that has to be one of your top spots. I've yet to see one, and I doubt I will outside of an auto show, but by-SAGE are they amazing!

If I had $135K in my pocket, you can bet that it would be near or at the top of my list. Preferably in black as well.

Maybe not that special in the Unstates Nights but very uncommon in Belgium.

Today was my first time spotting a Ferrari F430, and I was lucky enough to see both the spider and normal one. Also spotted a black Cayman. Unfortunately, they were all traveling the opposite direction...

This is the only pic I got for today:

BMW Z4 Roadster with a hardtop

Damn, only got these lousy photos to show... :guilty:

Damn, this car is fast! My father was like going 140kp/h and that car past us like 🤬 The Samsung camera phone didn't help either.... :guilty: (snapshot delay...)

Mitsubishi Lancer EX (from Singapore)

Well i don't know how rare is this model cause in Malaysia, only the 2.0 GT is available.

Cars that i didn't get a photo of:
[/B]Bentley Arnage[/B] (i think)
several Mitsubishi's Evo 8
several Subaru Impreza WRX STi (GDB)
a pink Supra :embarrassed:
a Mazda RX-7 FB

Not that I wish to be excessively mean, but is this some kind of joke?

I can't even see a car in the first picture, and I can't see enough of it in the second picture to even attempt an identification. You could claim it was a Lamborghini Miura, made from scratch out of toothpaste by Kalahari tribesmen for all you can see in these pictures...

I mean, here's the pictures with just the cars, enlarged to forum-sized 600x450:

Next time you take pictures of cars, try to crop them so they just contain the cars before you resize them down for forums.

Must ask Jordan if we can get [humour] tags for Doug.

Its the only way we'll know he's being funny.

I love that car. I could do without the black wheels, but the color really makes the aggressive design stand out.

Not unless you saw it first. ;) It's hard to see the body details in black, but it really is the right color for it.

Well it's the only you'd know, due to your humorlessness!

I remember. :) I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but I knew I wasn't the first person to spot one in this thread... which says something about the group of spotters we have here!
