Today...
Clever!
I almost never photograph Jaguars, but I also almost never see E-Type coupes. Texas plates; yellow; being driven hard in traffic. The passenger door wasn't shut properly, which is why it's a bit askew - the panel gaps aren't
that bad (despite its being British).
Another SRT-10 convertible.
Bentley Arnage with California license plate parked (correctly, please note) amongst normal cars.
Maybach 57S on Florida plates... first at a car wash, then at mall valet. These things are huge.
Maybach 57S on local plates. Weird story with this one - it was originally silver (I have
several photos of it in silver) but was repainted by the owner to white. I saw it in white on October 11 and thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, but indeed, it's a respray (or an entirely new car, which is unlikely).
V8 Vantages abound! I think this picture goes a long way in displaying how frequently I see them. I'd seen the black one before, but the gray one is number seventeen in as many months - and non-unique V8 Vantage number 32.
Florida plate on this extremely rare Porsche 911 GT2.
Cruising along and I came up behind this:
Doesn't get much cooler than the new
Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series.
To my knowledge Mercedes is making only a few hundred of these total. Georgia license plate red '
CARMEL' and the young black driver noticed me taking the photos and waved and gave a thumbs-up. Oddly several hours after these photos, he passed me on a backed-up highway offramp several miles away allowing for a few other photos:
It's very cool in person, aided by the fact that despite its 500-horsepower engine capable of 0-60 in 4.1 seconds - and its $135,000 price tag -
no one has any idea what it is. The driver probably gave me the thumbs up for being one of the few to notice it!
Hope you liked today's spots!
