Peugeot 205 GTI. Definitely the coolest thing I've seen the past week, probably just as rare (over here) as that 40th Anniversary Murci I saw a while back.

This thread is finally highlighting why I need a new cell phone with at least a basic camera, heh.

Nice Liberty (Legacey for everyone else) I saw on the way to work this week. I'm not usually a fan of purple car and black rims but this one looks nice.

I saw this tasty treat this morning.

The original I took was really BLUE so I just warmed it up. I didn't take the time to correct all the color.

On the way home just now....

Toyota Supra
CLK 500 (Dunno how rare these are...)
(...but I do know that, no matter how tacky, YOU have never seen a wide arch S600 on 20 billion inch rims before... I'm sure that's comfotable over the bumps... yah... I'm sure it is...)

Doctor's appointment today. Didn't see much.

Toyota Supra. (First I've caught on camera.)

Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. 110 made it to US. (First time I've caught on camera.)

Mini Clubman at the dealership today, thought it was cool. Also that's an Isetta off to the left.

It's based on the Vanagon, but with a bed inplace of the passenger compartment. I don't know what the official name was for them, but I am fairly certain they imported them alongside the regular lienup a few decades ago.

Correct, I don't think it had a name other than T3 pickup

I'm apparently making a habit of disappearing for weeks at a time here.

A few weeks ago, I thought it was neat that I saw this:

only it wasn't alone. As I rounded the corner, more appeared:

and then some more:

So as I followed the moving trail back to where it was coming from, I saw this:

Obviously I missed a cool classic car show. :indiff:

AC Cobra replica

This, however, was not at the show.

Nor were these:

AMC Gremlin

"Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me,for meeeee!"

Porsche 914

If my Impreza ever gets wrecked, I will buy one of these and frankenstein my engine in there.

And now, on with the show:

Honda Accord 2008

Not nearly as ugly as the concept made it seem. The proportions still stink, but that's par for the course for an Accord.

Ferrari 430

Like the 360, I will most likely never see a Stradale/Scuderia.

Aston Martin DB9 Volante

Really, can you blame people for making this car as popular as it is?

Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8

Sounds great, looks okay, moves like a truck. Result? Er, no. You get individuals who think 425HP in that monstrosity means you can take on an STi. Not. Gonna. Happen.

BMW M5

No more. Please. It's a wonderful engine in yet another too-heavy car.

BMW M6 Cabriolet

It only 18 months since its introduction to finally see one, and it's when it was 45 degrees out. At least he chose a gorgeous fall day.

Jaguar XK-R 2008

Another one that had eluded me for months. Probably slower, but definitely more beautiful than the M6.

Lincoln Blackwood & Mark LT

I think I've seen both of these around, but the chance parking side-by-side was too cool to pass up. Oh, and an Aspen thrown in for good measure.

Maybach 57

To quote Doug: Maybachs for all!

Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG ~2001

Because a post from me is not complete without some AMG model.

Does anyone find it rather funny that the Supra is driving on R34 wheels (probably replicas)?

Considering how they sort of rival each other.

I see no R34 rims at all on that supra. They look like some set of Konig's not sure though, but definitely not R34 rims.
These are though.

Not to sound like a penis or anything but WRXs? Supras? Dont get me wrong nice expensive fast-from-the-factory cars, but what happened to MAKING the car fast? I live in Vegas, and seeing Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches and Maseratis on a daily basis is nowhere near rare. And cars like the WRX, EVO and Supra are actually pretty well, common. Now cars like this are what i consider rare:

Thats Arts car, a local racer here. Now seeing something like that is a rarity. Most civics are white on black out here and all look pretty much the same. Whereas Arts swapped, turboed, and super clean Hatch is a rarity.

Another example is this DC2 Integra that was just in Turbo mag:
wwwwwwwwwwwww.jpg

As you can see, swapped, turboed, and a Type R front end.

Now dont flame me, but those cars might not have cost 20k brand new, but id take one of those over a WRX or EVO anyday. For example today alone i saw 2 Ferraris and a Lambo. Maseratis, Rolls Royces, Betleys, theyre all common out here, but seeing a car thats been sweat on, bled on, and cried over; now THAT is a car to me.

These are though.
Without the center caps they look very different, but with them, they are pretty similar.

The only big difference in the line down each spoke on the supra wheels.

I FINALLY saw my first 2008 Chevrolet Malibu on the road today, but it was going by so quick that I had no opportunity to take a photo. It is a shockingly good-looking car, and I was actually taken by surprise.

And the nay-sayers over the rear?

In person, it actually doesn't look too bad... I need to make a dealer visit ASAP!

Viper RT/10.

tt_truck-111607.jpg

Audi TT on truck plates. Laughable - I honestly couldn't believe it when I saw it. Why not just advertise to the cops that you're driving an unregistered vehicle?

f430-111607.jpg

Florida temporary plates. F430 number 13 (32 including Spiders). Bring on the Scuderia.
