I'm apparently making a habit of disappearing for weeks at a time here.
A few weeks ago, I thought it was neat that I saw this:
only it wasn't alone. As I rounded the corner, more appeared:
and then some more:
So as I followed the moving trail back to where it was coming from, I saw this:
Obviously I missed a cool classic car show.
AC Cobra replica
This, however, was not at the show.
Nor were these:
AMC Gremlin
"Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me,for
meeeee!"
Porsche 914
If my Impreza ever gets wrecked, I will buy one of these and frankenstein my engine in there.
And now, on with the show:
Honda Accord 2008
Not nearly as ugly as the concept made it seem. The proportions still stink, but that's par for the course for an Accord.
Ferrari 430
Like the 360, I will most likely never see a Stradale/Scuderia.
Aston Martin DB9 Volante
Really, can you blame people for making this car as popular as it is?
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8
Sounds great, looks okay, moves like a truck. Result? Er, no. You get individuals who think 425HP in that monstrosity means you can take on an STi. Not. Gonna. Happen.
BMW M5
No more. Please. It's a wonderful engine in yet another too-heavy car.
BMW M6 Cabriolet
It only 18 months since its introduction to finally see one, and it's when it was 45 degrees out. At least he chose a gorgeous fall day.
Jaguar XK-R 2008
Another one that had eluded me for months. Probably slower, but definitely more beautiful than the M6.
Lincoln Blackwood & Mark LT
I think I've seen both of these around, but the chance parking side-by-side was too cool to pass up. Oh, and an Aspen thrown in for good measure.
Maybach 57
To quote Doug: Maybachs for all!
Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG ~2001
Because a post from me is not complete without some AMG model.
