Dodge Journey, I wasn't even aware that they were driving around yet. It has M plates on it meaning it's from the Tech Centre right down the road. Good lord is it ugly and the back end looks like a Volkswagen.

I think it's the best looking car Dodge makes now besides the Viper. It looks much more clean and smooth than the Avenger or Caliber. I especially like the headlights and grille.

You realise from the B-pillar forward it looks just like a Pontiac Torrent with a revised grille right? A Pontiac for christsake! And an ugly Pontiac at that.

When Dodge already has two SUVs, not to mention the entire non-Wrangler Jeep lineup and the Chrysler Pacifica and Aspen, that are already just sitting on dealer lots? No.

The Nitro is a small SUV and the Durango is a large SUV. It makes sense that Dodge would want a midsize SUV. Don't say Dodge can't have SUVs just because Jeep does. By that logic, Mercury shouldn't have any cars. Neither should GMC. Or Buick.

Well a crossover for Dodge makes sense; Look at the success GM has had with the Lambada triplets, or Ford with the Edge (or is that only in the Mid-West?). They need a crossover to compete in the segment, but the thing is, I'm not even sure if the Journey is the right answer...

There's a model called Lambada? Yuck!

Oops, Lambda, my bad. I don't know why I always use the dance...

But, anyway, its a chassis name (like Epsilon, Gamma, Alpha, Zeta, etc) that underpins the Saturn Outlook, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave. Eventually there will be a Chevrolet version as well, dubbed the "Traverse," but nothing has been made completely official.

Psshhh! Alfa 159??? If I'm not mistaken is that an Opel Tigre next to it? If so

Side note: just bought one in GT4 and have had some fun modding it to compete with Integras, Preludes, and Celicas.

Its an Opel Tigra Twin Top.

@kikie:I saw a blue Wartburg today.

These are carried over from last Friday as I didn't have time to post them before. There are some more, but I stupidly made a stupid mistake when putting them on my stupid memory stick and now feel quite stupid. I will put them up later. Just let me know when you get bored seeing photos of cars taken off bridges!

- Ooh cheater, cheater! You have a normal 997 and you put a GT3 bodykit on there thinking nobody would notice!
- Renaultsport Clio V6
- Lambo Gallardo
- Gratuitous space filler (You saw a photo of the front on this 348 last time)

- Nice little picture of a 996 Turbo with occupants enjoying the view and the ride (reminds me of the petrol station scene in Zoolander for some reason)

- Immaculate 1967 Mercedes 600 (This is my favourite spot of recent weeks. What a car! And just look at the condition. I'm just disappointed at the blur in the photo)

Haha. I'll bet they were blasting Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, too.

 Best car evah!!! 👍

Good eh! Now let's see if I can spot a Pullman version...

- Ferrari 430 (Black on red - Please excuse Santa's little helper. He almost dropped his keys down the gutter and combined it with a lick of the 430 - Identities have been hidden to protect the guilty... er, innocent)

Ooh, I forgot. I saw my first Audi R8 outside of a dealer on Friday. Number plate says 'ARR1VED' - Oh my, you certainly have sir! Just like everyone who's seen one on this thread says, the thing is tiny.

Hmm, if I owned a Ferrari I’m not sure I’d be comfortable with people licking it…

Haha, I know what you mean, but it's Hong Kong, everybody here knows that nobody in their right mind would ever do anything destructive to anyone's property (unless upayed 'protection' money is involved). I have lived here seven years and not once have I ever seen a keyed car, a broken phonebox or any other form of malicious vandalism. If you park your Ferrari in the party area of town (and I mean serious partying) on Christmas week I think you can expect it to get a good licking! People here are far too culturally respectful or in the case of expats (content with life) to go damaging people's stuff. Having said that, next time he tries he's probably going to be running in the opposite direction with a group of chopper wielding triads in hot pursuit!

Why do you guys always like to lick a Ferrari? Is it your tradition or something to lick a Ferrari? Since "Santa's little helper" did licked the car, how does it taste like? Must taste like ice cream..... :D

I'd be completely comfy with a licked car. Hey, it saves me the next carwash..

Or, I could cover it with something tasty. Sugarcoating.

The licked car thing was a complete coincidence. My Santa hatted acquaintance just happened to be wandering out of one Christmas party while I was wandering out of different one when I bumped into him. It also just so happened that my other friend did it on the red 360 Modena Spider a couple of weeks ago. Proverb - beer makes you lick fast cars.

More from last Friday...

Some M5's
mixedbag60sa3.jpg

- Porsche 964 (Any idea exactly which model this is?)
- Porsche 964 Carrera 2 (Rare colour)
- 997 Turbo
- 996 (Dunno which model)

@kikie:I saw a blue Wartburg today.

C'mon now Serge.

That's a 5 Series.

And that's an Alfa. I wasnt going to say anything, but Serge, there is no rule saying that yoou have to post anything rarer than a 3 series inthis thread. I liked your ferrari spots, especially the 456M. Lets keep it at that level, and I appreciate no one sees those kinds of cars every day. Except doug and chaser

I gotta say chaser_fan, I'm loving those pictures! The angle, crispness, lighting, it's pure awesome. 👍

So yeah, keep it up. :sly:

Thanks! Appreciate the comments. Friday's just around the corner and I have a full day off, so plenty more to come. Thinking about your comment, have you noticed how ridiculously clean all the cars are here. I hadn't thought about that until now.
