Where are the good spots?

đź’ˇ The second Jag, the XJ Super V8, isn't bad.

I suppose the XJ is ok...

Its not the post what cars you saw today thread is it?

I've ignored it before, but come on... a Hyundai Coupe??

You guys are a bunch of noobs. I was floored the very first time I laid my eyes on a Ford Pinto. I had to share it with the world...of course!

If you haven't seen one before it will be the highlight of your day.

 That's true, a Honda Civic ain't that special of a car to be put here, even if it was a Type R or anything. And the same with the Korean jewel, Huyndai.
I saw a Jaguar XJS V12 today. Or well I see it everyday as it's in my dad's garage waiting to be repaired.

Any Type R is worth a spot in this thread. They're not exactly common sights in the U.S., esp. unmolested ones.

Big thumbs up Roo!

I've only seen a Harlequin Golf once, and truth be told, I thought it was someone who didn't have enough money to fix their car... Thats a rare find indeed!

Well, you guys across the pond normally do get larger amounts of the cooler cars.

BTW, anyone remember that dealer Joey saw while he was in London, the LondonAutoGroup (with the Lotus')? Well, it would appear Joey passed by it a few months to early as they have a white w/ carbon bottom Zonda F in their hands now. A member on another site brought it up as he might become the new owner. :)

Guess I have to go back now

Any ways, I saw this today, I have no idea how rare it is but I have never seen one before. An older Jaguar XJ 6, I had no idea what it was when I saw it. Thought it might be an Aston at first. It looks like it might be a series 6 but I'm not sure.

I always figured Harlequins are something usual. I remember they were quite common when I lived in Berlin, and seeing as some were given out as a promotion, they weren't very expensive in the used market, either.

The Polos. Golfs and Beetles are rarer.

I have no idea, I just googled it and something came up, but google images have a lot of mislabeled photos.

That'l be this one then:

Was originally the property of 'Hudson's of london'. Was priced around half a million pounds, I think it was over that.

I post a Prowler, I post a Vanquish, and everyone gets excited over a 12 year old Polo  I would've taken more photos if I'd known. My geography teacher at secondary (high) school had one. Might even be the same car - I can't imagine there's many around.

^ That V8 Vantage truly is one of the sexiest cars ever.

From last night...

- Nissan Fairlady (Not an exceptional car, but a nice photo)
- Ferrari 599 GTB (Saw a burgundy one too, but no photo)
- Ferrari 360 Modena

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Four Door - It is right hand drive so must be a New Zealand assembled example.

1968 F:censored:D Mustang - LHD American import.

Ferrari F355 GTS

I a very successful day today!

Cruising along with the camera in the car as I've been doing lately, I roll past a service station and instantly my eyes are drawn to an interesting profile parked at the pump. Ah-ha! I pulled over into a hotel drop-off area and with my camera aimed into my mirror, I waited.

And waited... (he gave me a false start by rolling forward for the Fire Engine to fill up)

And then it came back onto the road. Fortunately, it was a one-way street, so I knew it had to come past me. :D

I caught up to him at the traffic light! đź‘Ť

This is the first 997 (?) Turbo I've seen, and I thought the colour on this one looked good (it was more orangey than in the pics). As we headed up the hill towards the light his spoiler came up and then down as he slowed, which is so ironic considering that's the first time I've ever seen a spoiler move like that and the category I just posted for the scavenger hunt!

Anyway, inspired by that, I drove around a bit and snapped these two as well today.

All things considered, not a bad day. :D

its a 996 :P

3 random sightings from the other day:

Bently Arnage

Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG (first gen)

A really crappy pic of a Aston Martin V8 Vantage (auto-focus messed up the shot)

Thanks. Well in that case, it's the first 996 Turbo I've seen. :D

Don't worry I mix them up all the time when I'm tagging the photos. IRL they look completely different but I always mix them up in my pics.

Better quality pics of the ones posted before...

Yes, fine with the Opel and porsche, and I know it may seem like I pick on your every post, but a volvo 850?

Is that rare? (not a joke)

A Volvo 850?

Sorry Serge but that hardly counts as a spot. Every other car in Belgium is a Volvo 850.
