Sorry no Pics.
But I was driving down Hwy 291 in Independence, MO a couple of days ago.
I thought I saw a squished car on a flatbed in front of me.
As I got closer, I realized that it was just really low slung.
It was a black Lotus GT350 (on a flatbed almost "out in the county" in Missouri).

Of course, I saw a Lambo Countach rolling thru Independence proper not to long ago.

I guess I've just gotten to used too seeing old Impalas/Caprices rolling on 22's:lol:

Lotus GT350? As far as I'm aware, there isn't such a thing. Maybe Lotus Esprit Sport 350? If so, there weren't any in black, only silver and a couple in dark blue I think, but those stayed within Lotus hands.

Venari, Famine and anothers friends of this forum.
That little red car is a PUMA, made here in my country, Brasil from 68´until 82´. This model pictured is of the 70´s years. Today this car is apiece of collector here, and someones was exporteds for some countries, specially USA. Here in my city, Brasilia, I´m a member of the local VW Club (I have a 65 Beetle) and some members have Pumas, coupes or convertibles, oh yes, I almost forget, they was made of fiberglass and use engine air cooled and trans of the VWs Beetles. I hope had helped. More informations here: http://www.clubedopuma.com.br/ , only in portuguese, unfortunately.

^ Good info!

On the subject of identifying cars, does anyone know what my Healey Sprite thing was?

You're right that its not a sprite at least, they were much shorter and the rear end was completely different, still searching to find anything that might help

Pics from the last couple months... I live in a small town so there really isn't many super duper cars but some nice cars nontheless... Maybe some day I will head to SF and take some shots there.

Appears to be a Ford Galaxie? Or is it a Fairlane? I'm having a hard time telling... I may be way off...

That appears to be an Oldsmobile Cutlass

That appears to be a second gen, friend.

You're first G-Body Monte SS? Wow... They're all over out here!

Not true - 2 were white, 2 were black, 1 was metallic black and 1 was "ice blue". The other 44 (or rather 36) were silver, as you say.

One black one came up for sale on Autotrader about 18 months back, priced at £32k.

I should like to pwn you all in the rarest-car-ever spot stakes:

I'm unreliably informed that Renault sold precisely EIGHT of these in the UK in 2002 - and it's a 2002 car... :D

And a future classic. Get one cheap while you still can.

Despite rarity, you realise it's a darn Renault people mover? :yuck:

Theres one of them round the corner from here, I keep meanning to take a pic of it..

The Avantine and Espace are sufficiently filled with BOOYA.

👍

And space. I sat in one a while ago, and the vastness of it really impressed me. And, of course, the awesome gadgets that display the current song on the radio, tyre-temprature and pressure, mileage, and why turning left in 200m is not recommended.

And...this is a problem?

It's a problem to me. It's a people mover, in Australia you get more space inside a Commodore or Falcon with sporty credentials to boot. Why would I ever want a people mover? Good for nothing except families of 7.

So you can haul a family of three kids, a dog, and half your house, comfortably, while in a very cool-looking car? Because for that sort of stuff, a Renault fits the bill perfectly.

In a VE Commodore wagon I could do all those things plus more- like beat a Nissan 350Z in a drag race for example. Otherwise I could do all that in a Commodore sedan minus the dog and beat a WRX around almost any track. That's why we love our big sedans here in Oz, they are so practical yet still a decent sports car. You live in Israel do you? You should know as we export the Commodore to the Middle East as the Lumina. Is Israel the Middle East- do you get them?

Most people do not race their cars, especially if you have 3 kids and a dog in the vehicle with you.

I know I know, but if you wanted it for that purpose you have the ability to do it. A daily driver that turns into a weekend warrior. You're American aren't you? Go and sit in the back of a G8 at a dealer and see just how roomy it is. It's enough to fit 3 overweight people quite comfortably. (I should know as I am a bit that way, and so is my Grandma, and then there was another person in the backseat all 3 of us at once and we were all comfortable.)

Yes I am American and I have sat in a G8, I hated every minute of it because it was crap. I was so disappointed with it because it should have been good. I didn't find it all that roomy either, I'd rather be in the back of a 5-series.

If I was going to haul people around I'd have a crossover or a mini van like everyone else in America has. For as much as I hate it my mom's Pacifica in the mid-row of seats can be quite roomy...however the back seats are something less desirable for an adult.

There's probably a joke about Americans and cheeseburgers in there that's best left untold. A Commodore is FAR more roomy than a 5-series in the back. And I have been in people movers at auto shows all of which had less room inside than a Commodore. Not sure if I have ever been in a car more roomy than a Commodore.

Someone spotted one in the UK some time ago - we've already had this discussion - it was more than eight. Good spot nonetheless.

It's the middle east alright, but we don't get them. We only get small, 1.6l automatic sedans - exactly what leasing-companies want. That's what happens in a market with a 70% marketshare belonging to leasing-companies.

We don't even get the Renaultsports or Peugeot GTi models - but we do get the regular ones.

you do know it was for sale for 2-3 years, they might have sold 8 in 2002 (or that could be a 2003 car going by the reg plate :P) but they may have sold more in 2001 or 2003
