Saw, get this, ANOTHER Toyota Camry! But this time, it was in that nasty pearlescent puke green. I have only seen that color scheme once before.

Unreal. Again with the synchronicity. One of those turned up, of all places, at Brown University. The photo I took ended up looking like a black cat on a black fence at night. Blurry, dark, and more noise than image. I'm sure I saw it the same day you saw yours.

Er...I have images to post myself, but someone rather important is in need of my attention. Tomorrow, then!

Shame you couldn't get the whole car. Personally I think this is one of the coolest cars on the road right now. I'm always excited to see one.

Yeah there are tonnes around here too. Everybody seems to get them with different options. I like the way that of all the 996 Turbos I saw a couple of days ago, none had the same spoiler...

Which brings me to the question - What is this red 996? It has a scoop in the rear wings, but it isn't a regular 996 Turbo scoop.

DB9 I forgot in last set.

I've never been up there on weekends, and last Saturday I saw a good selecetion of exotics around town so maybe I'll get some good shots later this week.

It also doesnt have the vents behind the rear wheel and on top of the engine. Looks like a fake to me

No, they're part of the structure of the wings so are obviously factory. That or an uber-expensive bodykit. I'm sure there's a simple explanation. It's definately not a Turbo, that's why I was curious.

It's got an older Gemballa bodykit and has matching wheels, so it's probably a Gemballa GTsomebigimpressivenumberthatdenoteshorsepower.

I really wish I'd had a camera this morning.

I followed a C5 Corvette with a Callaway badge.

I suspect fake, but the Corvette was pretty nice.

I think you can buy Callaway parts for Vette's, they probably come with stickers.

Just a Carrera/S convertible if anything.

Nope. If only it were that simple. Well, I posted in the Porsche boards and am still awaiting a concrete answer. It's strange how many offbeat Porsche varients seem to be here. I really only took that pic because I don't see too many Porsche 996's in that colour.

Great photos The Cracker! Most worthwhile double-post ever!? Didn't even have time for a shot of the E-Type Coupe eh!?

I don't see how it can't be anything else than 911 Carrera/S/4/4S convertible as it's obviously not a Targa and doesn't resemble a Turbo.

Is the new M3 sedan out in the states? Today on campus I saw a baby-blue sedan with the M badge and the quad tailpipes out back.

I've been to Menton today - a french town on the Riviera, 15 miles away from Monaco - and saw several nice cars, but since I was driving I couldn't take any pic.
There was an Accord Euro R, an Aston Martin Vantage, and I also saw a Veyron for the first time. Well, it went past my Focus in less than a second, but I'll remember the sound of the engine : so incredibly deep... Really like you could imagine an 1,000 hp engine would sound.

Nor the number-clad Mini Cooper in the background, but still, amazing cars, the Stingray replica is very well done, and the Cobra looks badass with black wheels.

Does someone know what car that is?

1957-1959 Studebaker Hawk, good one, but turn off your flash man!

Now for some more:

first, a mexican Monte Carlo SS, with some characteristics that make it unique to Mexico; they're already a rare sight because they were the fastest thing on the streets at their time and most of them were ran reeeeally hard and blew to pieces; dig the pseudoCragars.

next, a Winnebago motorhome, so unique here I don't think I'll ever see one again; Texas plates.

And finally, a car that indeed was sold here, but only a handfull: a 1950 Lincoln 2 door, wich was expensidve enough in that year that its really, REALLY difficult to find one today; this one is absolutely complete, just drop it down to earth, add rattlecan red flames and widewhites with Moon discs and gooooooooo:

I'll post more later (:

I was sitting at a stoplight, and thought I was seeing things for a second when i swear i saw a bright blue SMART roll over the rail crossing. i thought NAH, but mabey 45 minutes later heading to my work pickup, a black one, with lights on, blew past me in the other direction. HUH? i thought they weren't legal in the US yet? (the blue actually had a PA plate on it)
