Today I say my first W204 Mercedes C-Class wagon/estate. I think it was the C200 model with an optional bodykit maybe. Looks pretty good đź‘Ť

Exigeracer, those are some really fantastic shots, in fact you've always had pretty damn good photos.
I would be very interested in contributing to a photography thread on cars in general. I'm a beginner in D-SLR photography, although I've been at it for years now, but I haven't really spent as much time and dedication as I hoped. So, starting a photography thread would help me learn too. So yes, make that thread happen!:)

Rather than your own thread to showcase your cars (which would be OK if you wanted to), I'd prefer a thread where you talked about how you shot the cars. I think you take some of the best shots in this thread. đź‘Ť Both in composition and in 'after-effects'. And, as is the nature of these shots, there isn't a lot of time to set up like on a static or purpose car shot.

So I'd be more interested in the settings your using, what you're thinking about, stuff like that. So that I and others can improve our own shooting towards your level.

More of a tutorial thing. :)

I was planning on having it like this as well, where I would post a specific picture and explain why I like it and why I think it is better than a regular point and shoot. For shots that I know the specifics of, settings, back story etc, I could post up that info too. There are also a whole bunch of shots that are just missing that little touch that could be shown as to how the picture could be improved.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I'll start compiling photos tonight.

M5Power
like the Starion which was a Plymouth, Chrysler, and a Dodge at various points during the '80s (and called Conquest each time).
Stupid product planning or not, that is still 4 different chances to buy Starions.

No camera on me unfortunately, but today's little list included an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, and an Overfinch Range Rover Sport. I really need a compact to compliment my SLR.

im gonna challenge serge on the belguim spots today!

I know that these cars are not rare, but for me these are good spots.

Audi A8 W12, first one i've ever seen :D

Funny thing is i didnt even realize it was a W12 til i got home and uploaded, i totally missed the badge on the front, just thought it was a normal A8! (what the hell is normal for an A8 anyways?)

Erm....No? that would be the 3.2 Litre V6 TDi with a whole 256 bhp.

I can't be bothered to know (read that as "don't care") what every diesel Audi's base engine is in Europe. We have three models with three engines: the two previously mentioned and the S8.

but bondy lives in the uk(or did you forget that?) where you do get the TDi's so he is no doubt refering to a "normal" A8 being the 3.2 V6 TDi.

My teacher test-drives cars; he had one of those for a few days once. It was niiice.. he showed me the interior.

Yeah... My friends dad has one... The interior is nice... Then I go look at their Porsche... it blows the **** out of the Audi... :D

Finally got a close up of the Peugeot I've been seeing around town. Keep in mind it's not such a crazy car, just rare in the US.
Sorry for the cell-phone quality.

Evo at work.

I personally find it boring but on this board there's an above average appreciation of these old American cars so I thought I'd show it... very nice shape!

Well considering they are sometimes even more rare then any new Lamborghini you could ever see. It also highlights an awesome time in America when both our country and car industry were great.

Keep em coming đź‘Ť

I like that. :) You could also do a 'before and after photoshop'.

I laugh when I see you guys take pictures of Peugeots and Renaults, which are pretty much every fifth car on the road here.

And then I remember how I got excited over spotting a '90s Saturn. :P

This thread seriously needs to be rescued by Doug or Rue, or even Joey or Holden.

Not having a car really put a damper on my car spotting. It's also been cold and rainy here for a couple of weeks.

Peugeot with US tags is pretty damn impressive. The last time I heard one being driven here was on St Pierre et Miquelon plates in Montreal. Pretty neat, aslo.

I disagree. I think it's doing pretty well on Serge's spots.

Don't get me wrong, I like Serge's spots but IMHO I would like it if there was a bit more information on the spot, like perhaps the names of the cars as I often struggle to identify them (Yeah I know, I suck). Or why they are special as sometimes I will see cars which I often see every couple of days which in my opinion are just not special enough, it might be different though in wherever Serge lives. Serge don't take any of this as criticism and PLEASE keep doing the spots, there awesome, often keeps this thread alive.
