BMW 850CI (the one with the V12; I dread to think of it's fuel economy), with corresponding aptly named 'BMW850' plates.

There's a fair few of them here. I've seen many, usually with custom rims... Obviously more 840's than 850s.

I love the mud on the Blazer. Hardcore. He actually uses his truck instead of looking at it.

A friend of a friend just got one about 2 months ago, said it was fairly fast and had good power for being and older car. 300hp from the factory, and more for the CS ans CSi variants.

I think I remember a thread a while back about someone wanting to to a twin turbo setup on theirs

One of my favs. good spot 👍

I live about a half hour away from the Rocky Mountains. Off-roading is HUGE here. I had a friend in my automotive class that has about six trucks (he had a thing for International Harvesters; there was even an old Daihatsu Rocky in there), all built for rock crawling and mudding.

lol, yeah... I saw a Scooby with Pink rims. The guy is gay... according to my future brother in law. I'll get a pic of it one of these days...

Oh yeah, and only douches put double white stripes on their car. Yes, I'll even say that on a Viper...

BMW M6 convertible and the girl that got out of the car (passenger) was gorgeous (do you use this word to describre a very beautiful and attractive girl?) as well.

Was that in Groot-Bijgaarden or Dilbeek?

I have no idea. I just drove through Belgium; I only looked out for the petrol station signs. It was about 1km from the Brussels ringroad (R0), on the western side.

(do you use this word to describre a very beautiful and attractive girl?)

Yes. Beautiful and gorgeous are two ways of describing the same thing.

Then you where close to where I live Roo.
I live at a good 17 Km west from Brussels.

Some Harley's that I saw.

Yet another supercar owner that can't park correctly ...not that I really blame him though.

Yeah, if you can afford the car you can afford the daily rate of no risk parking.

I mist my best spot today, some black old Rolls Royce from the '30's.:grumpy:

Does someone now what Mercedes that is?
There are no badges on the car.

350 Z cabrio.

Lotus Elise.

Lotus Elise.

Serge the first Mercedes you didn't know was a '94 or '95 E320 Cabrio, maybe a sportline edition since you said there was a badge on the side. The second one is some sort of W140 S-class but its hard to tell what model without a badge.

Awesome spot on the DB6 one of my all time favorite cars...

Not only that, but they even had an end space available... which is what I always try and use, so that I can park as close to it as possible, leaving plenty of room between my space and the next space. 👍

It depends on where you're looking. In the Bay Area they are very common... and often regarded as the poor man's Porsche back in the days. It is especially common in Berkeley, where I think it was often regarded as the Hippies' Porsche. :D

Beautiful car that really captures the magic of the pinnacle of automotive styling from the 60's.... of which I would certainly add the *Jaguar E Type to that list as well. 👍

*Some have sold in auction for well over $100,000 so while not nearly as over priced as your common modern super car, a quality E Type is not exactly "cheap" either.

To add to the appreciation of great classic automotive styling and recent spots...

(really puts it into perspective how small the Dino was, and likely deserved the nickname, "Baby Ferrari") :)

Thanks.👍
And congrats with your Dino spot.👍

It is a '74 246 GTS (VIN 8430) and one of the very last Dino's ever made. Less than 1,500 GTS models were ever built, and few ever made it over to the US. This one had a premium original restoration done ten years ago including a complete engine rebuild by Forza Motors in Carmel, CA followed by a bare metal original repaint job by Jerry Graham, both of whom are arguably the best at what they do.

Since then, it's been meticulously serviced and tuned by none other than Norbert Hofer himself. A couple years ago he rebuilt the steering rack & pinion assembly and installed a new stainless Tubi exhaust system.

It has been fitted with original Michelin XWX tires with less than 5,000 miles on them.

It's a true gem, and close to concourse condition. 👍

Thanks for the info on the cars and the comment on the DB6.:)👍

This is the one and only Dino that I saw some time ago,not a good photo.

is it yours or did the guy who owns it tell you all this?

You must have an incredible memory to recall all that.

No - the Z06 has characteristic side intakes right in front of the rear wheels. Standard model.

The Z06 also has the steeper rear window.

IS300 Silversport.

That generation IS didn't come in IS350 trim as far as I know.

Notable spots on my trip to LA included a Quattroporte, a new Evo and a whole lot of Porsches. I don't think any are picture worthy compared to this thing seen in San Clemente:

My jaw dropped to the sidewalk. A very very cool car to see in person. It had an interesting purple color too. Sorry for the terrible cell phone pic.
