Turbo Lag, we all enjoy all kinds of spots and like to see all spots posted up so go ahead:)

However nice spot on the 512, must be even rarer in australia.

A normal F512 for me is a hell of a good spot here, let alone a F512M. A well used F512TR here goes for 200k, probably around 300k for the F512M.

Today I saw a Pontiac G8 right outside my house, Porsche 911 Turbo and Maser Quattraporte.

And a Ferrari 512M....in RHD. Only 75 ever made out of a total of 501 according to wikipedia. Probably will be my best spot for a long time.

No point uploading pics of the others.

HOLY CRAP!!!! Awesome sighting!!! Among the best of the thread. It's on my "I'd give just about anything" list.

BTW I'd call it the F512M, not 512M. There's a big difference! If you'd seen a 512M on the road I'd post a video of me bowing to you.

 I barely even noticed it going the other way, first instance from far looked liked some modded thing but then I realized it was a 512. The bubble lights looked kinda weird but I didnt know what I'd seen until I read Wiki. It's not often when someone says: HOLY CRAP at a sighting, especially from you who sees this many nice cars

Now that WOULD be the best spot ever, itd even beat a 966 gt1 or CLK GTR!

Wow...... uh...... congrats mate! :irked:👍 But I don't get how each of you could tell which Ferrari is which. I could almost presume it was a Testarrosa or something like that...... Anyways, yeah. Its probably one of the better spots here so far. Now only if you could get a hold of a proper camera........

No, don't overestimate one like this. Otherwise he starts to post crap which looks good to him like Serge does..... (sorry, no offense Serge)

As for me, I could say I spotted something today as well but its not something rare to say the least..... :indiff:

Some old American car (could be a C1 Corvette)
Porsche Cayman
Toyota Supra
Some old classic Merc

Atleast I have a mobile cam unlike you :P I know it was a F512M because I saw the unique front lights.

Seen a few beauties these last few days.

Excuse the low quality shot of the Gallardo at the bottom.

E39 M5.

Carrera 4 Hard Top.

In the distance, the vague outline of an R8 can be seen :D

Cayenne - TechArt Version.

E92 M3.

Gallardo.

Brilliant spots jacoja, especially the Campagna T-rex, yet to see one myself!

Thanks Exige :D! This was more or less my abode but good to see some veterans!

Right...... and as if my dads phone hasn't any camera. But yeah, totally forgot about the front lights....... :dunce: (they were fixed headlights right?)

Yes - versus popups for the other two models. The real difference, though, was the wheels, which were - in my view - some of the craziest ever built and still are:

It also had four circular taillights instead of the normal Testarossa and 512 TR's rectangular ones that were almost hidden in the rear grille.

Over the past week. Yes I know some of these are at a racing event but other people do it anyway, and since they were parked in the car park, deeep into the car park I think they count.

My first post in this thread so please dont flame me :)

Ok well I stumbled across this while I was working. Its a Lotus Elan Coupe. The owner told me he bought it from a Lotus employee in 1966 for £1,000. He moved to Nigeria in the late 70's and took the car with him and stored it in an armed garage. He told me he spent £15,000 restoring it and was pretty proud of it.

I dont know how rare it is. Enjoy :)

Nope - you spotted an incredibly rare car. Not just a Spyder but a GranSport Spyder and not just a GranSport Spyder but a 90th Anniversary car, one of only 90 made. Has blue weave in the carbon fiber, Maserati fender shields, and aerodynamic carbon fiber panels behind the hoops behind the front seats (which you can only see when the top is down, sadly). Only reason I know all this is that car was JUST in the shop - literally this week. I got to drive it. It's a very cool car and we were all commenting about it. I think that one is #66 but I can't remember.

These were in the parking area at the Concours d'Elegance so I believe they count as spots. There will be a Concours thread shortly once I get all the photos resized and uploaded for your viewing pleasure...trust me there are some brilliant cars! Anyways I love Concours day because all the nice cars come out of the woodwork.

First up a Lingenfelter Corvette and as far as I can tell it's the twin turbo one. Awesome car although a bit funny looking. I wish I could have heard it run because I have to imagine it sounds awesome.

Next up was either a replica Lotus 7 or the real thing, this looked much more convincing then Friday's example so I don't know.
IMG_0363.jpg

As we were getting onto the shuttle bus I noticed a black Testarossa sitting next to a Carrera 4S, I figured the Ferrari was a bit more important.

After going through the show we took a walk through the VIP parking area and came across some nice cars as well. Ferrari F430 Spyder, although it's not terribly interesting.
IMG_0467.jpg

Another sort of meh spot but something I don't see all that often is a drop top Audi S4.
IMG_0468.jpg

Then there was this, I have no idea what it is and I assumed it was a kit car until I saw it had an M plate on it meaning it belongs to a manufacture of some sort. I don't really know, any help would be appreciated. It looks very crude.

Right after I posted that pic I looked it up on Wikipedia and saw that the wheels and body kit meant it was a GranSport, but only 90 made? You've got the coolest job ever.

JoeyD, do you have the original size of the rear shot of that un-ID'd car? It looks like there's a name on the spoiler.

Haha indeed

Here's a preview page showing some more details on the GranSport Spyder 90th Anniversary model - it shows the changes including those cool carbon fiber things behind the seats and the blue carbon fiber weave. It's a VERY sweet car.

I do but the badge on the back just says 32V Northstar, which is what I assume it's powered by. I'm guessing it's just a kit car based on a Feiro chassis.

That Dino looks like a 206 GT, to be exact. Awesome car, of course, but I like the coverless headlights of the 246 more.

I've driven a 246 that had covered lights. These cars got modded SO MUCH early on (because no one thought the 'cheap ferrari' would ever be worth anything) so you can't trust anything
