Thanks guys.

The red bit is a 360 Spyder, and there was a red 360 ahead of the Carrera GT with vanity plate, I kid you not, DRV SLO. Like I said, shooting fish in a barrel.

Then I got kicked out of the parking garage. It's okay cause I got to shoot this one for a while:

I apologize if you're getting tired of the same backdrops. That one street is always supercar central, and I'm still learning with every car I shoot. My back's been pretty hurtin' so I can't quite get out during the day to go exploring. Still fun stuff though!

God i wish i lived in a nice area like that :indiff:

Thanks guys.

OH GOD.

incredibly, the Boyds look cool with those fat brakes behind them, but they're huuuuuuuge!!!

but not bigger than the photo, greater than life! awesome shot Exige! the orange Elise from a few posts back is very good also!!!!

and I personally think the Curved Dash, if it's original, is one of the neatest, and maybe the rarest spot in this whole thread.

The 69 Chevelle is kicking!

CLK 55 AMG - it just looked cool (moreso from the front :indiff:)

Where is it at? Avenue, north of Bloor? Maybe i should go check out that place more often

Yes, off Avenue above Bloor. The specific streets are Yorkville and Cumberland.

Thank you Cano 👍

Yeah, gooooood shots as usual exigeracer. You're getting too good and it looks like the cars are seeking you out! Keep up the ace work!

I broke another camera yesterday. That's three Canon's with three different problems in the last 8-10 months. I tried to be loyal to them, but from now on I'll be buying from another manafacturer. I would say that the new Canons are some of the worst quality items I have bought and for the money that I have shelled out it's inexcusable. Nice knowing you Canon, but I'll be buying elsewhere in the future.

Needless to say I'm out of action as a contributer to the wonderful DYSAGT thread for a while. Boo!

Couple of unusual Japanese imports today, not seen either before in the UK (Nissan Figaros are everywhere where I live but these aren't).

Nissan S-Cargo (clever play on the Citroen 2CV - not just in shape, but the name - S-Cargo = escargot = snail... the 2CV's nickname is the "tin snail")

Mitsuoka Viewt - based on the Nissan Micra, believe it or not.Not quite the proportions of the Mk2 but from the front it's quite a convincing copy.
DSC_1018.jpg

No wonder those Mitsuoka Viewts are so rare. Of the two ones that are on Autotrader the prices are...

...for a 1995 - Circa £5k (About $10k)
...for a 1997 - Circa £6.5k (About $13k)

How much?

Yup, but pretty much any Japanese import like that is expensive. Nissan Figaros (from 1991 ish) are still going for £7k sometimes. And the one Mazda AZ-1 (one of my favourite cars full stop) I've ever seen on ebay UK was at around £8k when the auction finished and still didn't meet reserve (though admittedly it was quite heavily modified).

I guess people are prepared to pay quite a premium for something that's a bit different.

Or Mini Coopers. 8-year old Cooper Sports are still going for £7-8k quite often.

Awesome post! the Trans Am and Toronado rock.

And Rue, that's pretty rare, i've had three Canons and all of them have endured for years, and I've really ABUUUUUUUSED them, and they are still going strong... I guess you've had bad luck, because for me Canon has always been good!

The Grand Rapids Metro Cruise was today, and sadly, I forgot my real camera. Some of the good stuff that the RAZR could handle...

Porsche 911 GT2

2008 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 - The car drew quite a crowd, it was the first I've seen out in public. It was not the last today...

Subaru SVX (super-rare here) and a Mazdaspeed6

n78001441_30630858_7440.jpg

Mini Cooper - They were all over today, both in RHD and LHD versions.

2009 Dodge Challenger SE V6 - I was shocked that the V6 model looked that good!

Ford GT and Noble M12 - Its not a good picture, but they're in there. See 'em?

Fair play for telling us to ignore it. But next time just click "Preview Post".

:dunce: Oh yeah...

Awesome Maserati, zonderf. Truly looks like a wasp!

YSSMAN, why would a V6 Challenger look any different than a V8? Great GT2 spot though 👍

Gran Turismo

:0 I really like how that thing looks!!! like a wasp indeed, cool spot!! can I have the big version?

Minis are also freaking expensive here and quite rare, I also hapen to see one every two months or so... despite the fact that there is an abandoned one near work, while in front of the office there are two, a white Morris inside a building and this every now and then:

I still have to get pictures of the white and abandoned ones, but in the meanwhile, here it goes.

EDIT: Stupid, I only now realized that in the first pisture the camera focused the post -_-

Cano convinced me :P

Sorry for all the ****-eyed rolling shots. The camera's over my shoulder, so I just grab it at my chest and pull the shutter for a bunch of frames. It's really hit or miss with the bike-to-car action.

-edit- sorry for the swear filter. It's nothing big, but I can see why it doesn't want people saying it :P

It used to be that the V6 would do with tiny wheels (or hubcaps) and be devoid of any of the other "neat" details that the other cars have. I was very impressed with the interior, the wheels looked good and were properly sized, the only major thing I noticed that was missing was the rear spoiler (which looks better, IMO). Considering that the V6 SE was on the streets for just over $25,000 I'd call that a shockingly good deal.

Very true, and you can get a Lancer Ralliart, VW GTI and Cobalt SS for the same price too. I dunno, I just love the look and feel of the car now that I've actually seen one and been able to touch it.

Side note: The new Turbo SS Cobalt is awesome... They had one at the Berger show, I had to double-take to make sure it wasn't a Cobalt Sport from last year. Then I spotted the digital boost gauge on the door pillar, I had absolutely no idea they stuck those in there! Not bad for a pretty cheap car that can run 8'22 on the 'Ring...
