as Doug said, the only reason we put up pics of the blue Murcie was because it's the first time we have seen him in over a month. It may seem like it's been posted more than it has because that same car has had 3-4 different wheel combos and they all make the car look different. There are also 2 other blue Murcie's in Atlanta with matching rims and they have all been posted up a few times each as well

I'd take the Vantage over most of the bigger Astons as well, the exception being the DBS. The bigger models are just a bit too big for me to completely enjoy owning knowing I could have had a V8...V.

Thaaank you. 👍 Same here aswell, DBS > DB9 > V8V > Vanquish.

Having driven a V8 Vantage, I have to completely and whole-heartedly disagree. The V8 Vantage is bested by nearly every 911. The Vanquish is a proper supercar, comparable to the likes of the Ferrari 575. There is absolutely no question that the Vanquish is the better car, particularly for the money, considering that they trade for about the same as a NEW Vantage.

I'd still take the Vantage in a heartbeat. I don't care how it drives, or how slow it is compared to a 911. I simply just want one.

Realised I haven't posted anything I'd seen in this thread for a fair while now, so here's some things I've seen over the past month or so! Obviously I'm taking liberties with the "today" aspect of the thread title...

If i wanted a cheaper Aston Martin i'd try to find a 1970 V8 Vantage, utterly beautiful car :)

If i wanted a cheaper Aston Martin, I'd try a Jaguar XK8.

Of course, no point in that since you can get an okay DB7 for $30-$40k. Depreciation is scary on those.

This was so awesome I had to do a loop on some very narrow victorian terraces to get a photo!

Okay so the photo was crap cause it was a camera phone and dusk. But, the concept is very, very simple.

Might as well be $60K still once you realize how much money those suckers take to fix. I don't even want to think about how much the dealers will charge for labor, either. :ill:

Is that a Suzuki X90?

Might as well be $100k if we're factoring in repair costs!!! There's a 97 on AutoTrader right now for under $30k. Such a sweet price on a gorgeous Jaguar.

And while i don't often use this thread to make value judgements about the automobiles I photograph, please compare the rear end of the new Acura TL, on the left, to that of a regular car, on the right. The new TL is one of the strangest-looking things in human history, and this photograph perfectly illustrates that.

Is that the base model? Because it has tailpipes that I haven’t seen before – I’ve only seen the hideous quad tailpipes.

Not that it matters much – it’s still a wretched piece of design. I wonder if the owner went to the pharmacy because his eyes were burning?

It must be better looking from the inside, surely, so the owner should have less problems with his eyes than people looking at it from the outside.
He's probably getting some antidepressives because no one likes his new car, or he's getting a bunch of different sleeping pills to end his life after he realised what he just bought.
