Today:

Pontiac Solstice

Nothing special if you live in the States, but this is the first one I've seen in the UK. Florida plate, so it's come a fair distance. They look okay, but it'd be more interesting in a bright colour. If you're gonna buy a sports car I always think you might as well buy one that stands out.

Ooooh, they do appear to be slicks! Thanks Beerz for brightening the pic, nice eye Ghost drift (I didn't even notice that!), and thanks Home For Summer for the correction! And I'm an idiot for missing this:

Just a murdered out S-class- right? That's what I thought, but check out the "E55" badge on the Benz next to it! And that's the only pic that I have of it! Definately missed a sweet oppurtunity if it was legit. :( -kevin

Saw quite a lot today, went to the Motor Show with mcsqeegy.

The new Z4.

BMW M1, have a few more pics aswell.

Audi RS6 Sedan, only have a half decent picture of the headlights. :(

Lotus Evora, like above, this is my only not-very-blurred photo.

And the new Europa.

The debut of the LP560 Spyder, this is the only non-blurred shot.

New Golf, looked pretty ugly actually. I'd still take the MkV over this by a mile.

W427.

And outside, a Porsche 356A Speedster.

This was actually inside, and I took about 10 photos. This was the only un-blurred shot I got.

I'd say bald tires. Who makes slicks in a size like that?

Or why?

Your telling me they can afford an M3 like that. But cant afford the tyres.

Most tyre manufacturers will make a tyre to any size. And from that picture they look to be about 205/30/18 witch if you go to Deamon Tweaks they will quit hapily set you up with a pair Yokohama A005's in any size you want.

Those look more like (at least) 255's - rears - on 20" rims. The M3 runs a bigger diameter tyre than standard E46's, and that one seems to be running 20" rims, I'm almost positive on that.

They so look more like slicks than balds, though it's hard to tell from the pic.
I'm also intrigued that he may be running full slicks, and with rims that size. Not the best combination, imho...

Yes they arnt exactly the sort of wheel you would put slicks on ether.

Well, the license plate is from Tennessee, but Road Atlanta is extremely close to where I shot this picture. So maybe he ran it on the track and stayed at this spa/resort... -kevin

i think its just the picture, if you look at the top of the tyres, on the edges just under the arches, i believe you can see tread. They are horrible shiny blink wheels - not something someone would choose to stick track tyres on IMO.

I was referring to me, not you. Thanks for the obvious, though.

The one in Ronin was green, if I remember correctly.

I don't know about you, but that looks awful black to me. :odd:

That...that is simply a beautiful photo. Nice job. 👍

Audi Allroad 4.2

For Doug, who's name I haven't seen in quite a while....

Ferrari 400i

For the lovers of rustbuckets.

Ford F-150 SVT Lightning

For those who know that a truck can be fast in more than just a straight line.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X

Jaguar XK8 2008

For those who do not fear parking on the street in New York.

Maybach 57

For the non-drivers.

Pontiac Trans Am WS6

For the mullets.

Volkswagen Golf GTI-something

I got nothing 'for' this one. The thing is, while this may be just some locally-modified GTI, it was an excellent job, and it's sitting outside Porsche of Greenwich. I figure it's just a really expensive locally-modified GTI. Hearing it later, it sounds rather non-inline-4-ish and awfully turbo-chuffly. Anyone have any ideas, or am I deluding myself into thinking this could be something...else?

I saw a Tesla roadster on Saturday. Absolutely no chance to photo it on the road, but I followed it for a mile or two.

Like this but yellow, and with a black targa top.
