Elway Lamborghini is indeed the place to get Veyrons in Denver. What substantiation does the person on Ferrari chat have that John Elway bought one? I'd be surprised if that was accurate, but maybe not too surprised given it showing up at the Broncos game.

The comment about the Veyron being Elway's i came across on Ferrari Chat mentioned little more than i posted. I don't know how reliable the comment was, Ferrari Chat members either seem to be rich Ferrari owners who are 'in the know' or fanboy kids. Unfortunatley unless you are a registered member yourself - you can't click on a user name to check the poster's details, so who knows?

I can't find any info about Pat Bowlen's interests outside football - i don't know if he is a car nut or not, but such info tends to be well known. Given that Elway at least has some connections with exotica i would say that a Veyron parked at the Broncos stadium is probably more likely to be Elways rather than Bowlens. If the Veyron isn't Elways, perhaps it's from his dealership and the trip, with Elway, to see the Broncos play is part of a 'deal sweetener'?

Hopefully it shows up this time... It's strange that you could not see it. It still shows up for me on the site. Here is a smaller copy of the same thing.

Not sure if these are rare but its the first time i ever saw one:

I'm certain it's Elway's.

Bowlen's an old guy from Oklahoma, and Elway's known to own a Dodge Viper - and the Lamborghini dealer that's the only outlet for the sale of the vehicle in Colorado. The photo posted was taken at the Broncos game (Elway's former team), against its arch-rival, the Oakland Raiders, which is one of the Broncos' most heated games each year. Furthermore, Elway was shown in his box several times in local TV broadcasts of the game, so he was present.

Also, though I can't find it again (despite searching for some time), yesterday I found a post which described that the Veyron had been ordered for the wife of a man who split from his wife after the deposit and before the delivery; this would be true of Elway who split from his wife in early 2004.

Circumstantial stuff, yes, but I'm just about certain of the whole thing. It's Elway's car.

EDIT: One strike against it being Elway's car is that in its windshield it appears to have E-470 pass, which is the toll road in the southeastern Denver metro area. Elway probably wouldn't have that - he lives nowhere near the area, and he wouldn't commute anywhere down there anyway. But I'm not sure if that's what it is (would someone really get toll pass for a Veyron?).

(no offence)

My daily bus trip takes me though the wealthiest neighborhoods in Washington state, Medina and Clyde Hill. Anyone who is anyone lives in Medina (including one Mr. Bill Gates), so there are undoubtedly some incredibly hot cars lurking around the area. Problem is, all of these rich guys drive their BMW's and Mercedes to work, so I never get to see their real toys during my commute. Today, coming over Clyde Hill, I did see a Bentley Continental GT parked on the side of the road, casually among some other, lesser cars. This car never fails to impress me with its lines and curves; very beautiful. I think I've seen this same car before, so I give props to its owner for actually driving it day-to-day.

I saw this Ferrari on a recent trip to Montreal... Pretty cool.

Lamborghini Gallardo - always nice to see in front of your local late night coffee joint.

Today while at lunch with my wife we saw this 25th anniversary Lotus Esprit v8 - Im assuming since there were only 157 produced that this is a rare sighting. It was in the Valet Line at the Capital Grill on Larimer and 15th Downtown.
Sorry about the pic quality - it was my wifes camera phone.

Here's a Notable EVO 9 from the other night as well.... It was the last night I could run my Car at Bandimere - Unfortunately I couldnt hang with him since he was running 12.4 in the quarter.

Avantime photo

Incredible shot! One of around a hundred in the UK! 👍

Only the second Maserati Gransport Convertible in the thread I think.

I posted one Saturday and one came in from Ontario a couple of weeks ago, so there are at least two, and I think chaser_fan posted one a while back. It still a fantastic sighting though. And... a camera?!?! :D 👍

Don't you hate the last night? It's always so damn crowded. Although I must admit, last year's last night, I ran my best-ever time (despite showing up for like three hours and running twice). I love that strip!

Tonight's sightings were good, but not great. Actually the sightings were great and included a Phantom, Gallardo, Silver Spur, and Continental GT in addition to these, but photos were impossible. Here's what I got:

And:

20-silverseraph.jpg

The Rolls is a '98 to '02 Silver Seraph (not the much more common Bentley Arnage, which is its twin); only 1,270 were made in that time. Florida plates. The owner wasn't anyone I knew. Very rare car in the States - the first Silver Seraph I've seen. 👍

One time I saw three parked next to each other in an Asda (WAL*MART, or whatever) carpark. I remember they were (l-r) Blue, Grey and Red.

Doug, you cheeky bugger! I've posted plenty of pictures with an actual camera, and that picture there was with my camera phone!
The other two would have been as clear as that but I was too busy to stop moving...

Judging just by the alloys, I'd say a 2001-2002 model.

Is that by any chance by Boca?

My grandfather new a man with a Rolls Silver Seraph...

As Integra Type R says, I live in Atlanta, but the car had Florida plates. Though the car was in a handicapped spot, the driver was no more than 55, if that helps.

Suuuure... :D

Man - looking back at that GranSport picture - those things are gorgeous. I've seen two - one was on display at a local mall so I was able to gawk at it - but I've never seen one in that color, which is just fantastic. It's an already gorgeous car, and that color with those wheels make it supremely brilliant.

Judging just by the alloys, I'd say a 2001-2002 model.

Think it's in the running for 'ugliest wheels ever'?

Parents in town this weekend so not much in the way of spotting, but I still did pretty well:

21-coupe.jpg

That car was parked in a loading zone no more than 300 feet from my dorm room. No one was around it or even in the general vicinity. I think it has a big dent in the door panel - I didn't notice it when I was taking the photos but both photos show it, so I guess I must've been paying attention to the fact that we had a Maserati on campus, and not the door. Also spotted a black one tonight, but no photo.

21-murc.jpg

This is my fourth Murcielago Roadster sighting in just over two weeks, though admittedly this is the second time I've posted this particular vehicle. So really just the three sightings. :D When taking photos, the security guard told me to stop, suggesting I go across the street instead (to the sidewalk you can see behind the Murcielago) and stating that no photos were allowed to be taken on their property. I'd been taking pictures (and shopping) at this location for some time and never had problems. Fortunately he didn't stop me until after that shot, and this one:

21-3coupe.jpg

Saw my first new 3-series coupe about two weeks ago, but I couldn't get a picture; this is the first one I've photographed.

Last up, within three cars of each other:

21-328.jpg

21-575.jpg

Was waiting for a table in a restaurant with my parents, saw the 328, and ran outside - only to see the 575 two lanes over and two cars back. Got good pictures of them both. The black male driver of the 575 noticed me, but the (older) white male driver of the 328 didn't.

I also saw two Arnages, a Flying Spur, and a different Maserati Coupe today, but no pics. Meh. Obviously under normal circumstances I would've but oddly my parents didn't want to hang around parking lots photographing cars. Go figure! :D

Continuing the Ferrari theme. Saw this last night. Don't ever remeber seeing Testarossas on the road when I was a lad in the 80s/90s, but I've seen a few recently. This is the third in the last 10 days. This particular one was a bit racy hence the wheels and he'd stripped out the original interior and put racing buckets in. I never really realised how low this car actually is.

EDIT: Originally I thought this was a 512TR (cos of the front bumper), but the badge on the back said 'Testarossa'. I never knew that they kept the badge on the 512TR.

testarossapy1.jpg

One main difference between the 512TR and the Testarossa is the color of the siding and front bottom panel - body-colored on the 512, and always black on the Testarossa. That car has red siding, indicating a 512, and a red front lip, indicating the same. However, the engine compartment, and particularly the panels flanking the engine compartment, are black - indicating a Testarossa, not a 512. Obviously, the badges indicate a Testarossa; the 512 did indeed have its own badging. Verdict: Testarossa, with some owner-added mods to make it look like a 512.

Well, I don't care if it was at the dealer, I doubt you'll see this car that much anywhere in the US since last week, Aston Martin of Dallas became the 13th Spyker dealer in the US.

Spyker C8 Spyder

Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG
1000758gp9.jpg

As far as I know, the whole '63 models are still pretty new. This was the only '63 model at the dealer, and was sold before the vehicle came off the truck.

Other vehicles:
-Mercedes-Benz S600

-Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (Every time I've been to Park Place, there as always been one. 2 silvers, and today, 1 black). However, business is good. Since the new dealer opened less than a year ago, this is the 11th SLR delivered to the dealer. Unsurprisingly, it was sold.

-Porsche Carrera GT: No pictures, this was in the dealer service area and no photos were allowed. Same thing with a 944 Turbo S.

-Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG: This one was in a light blue, and seemed to be part of a big shipment of G-Classes.

Ford GT Livery Edition: Less than 200, I tried all my might to catch up, but this guy just took off with the beast. Hope it reappears.
Dodge Viper GTS was another car going in the other direction.:indiff:

Is that a street outside the Spyker dealer (with the Mountaineer on it)?

If so, do you realize there's a DB7 Volante sitting on it?
