And then this pulled up! See a few Mazdaspeed3's but didn't remember seeing the Axela badge before. I guess that's what it's called in Japan, but why is this badge in the US?

That's just a regular Mazda 3, not a Mazdaspeed. It's pretty popular to order the Axela badges off of the internet in the 3 community.

They are all over Ebay.

Ah, thanks. That's probably also why it said Mazdaspeed above where it said Mazda3.

And, looks like it's my week for Mustangs! First a Shelby, then a GT500, and now my first Saleen, a S281 SC. Anybody know what the 590 on the front bumper means?

Horsepower maybe? Not sure, I'd love to see someone post up the P51 Mustang. Maybe you'll be the one to do it.

Um, P51? Not unless I take a trip to the Dayton Air and Space Museum Sometime soon... And no, the 590 isn't hp, the S281 SC is rated between 400-465hp as far as I can tell depending on the year.

Oh, and forgot to say, not sure if it's standard on the Saleen, but yes, those are OZ wheels and Brembo brakes!

Didn't even catch that, yeah. The real one just says "Mazdaspeed 3" instead of Mazdaspeed Mazda 3.

Test drove a Saleen like that a month of two ago. Scary power.

didnt see but i got woken up to a monstrous v12 roaring down my road
people always drags race on my street as it is a 1/4 mile

Heh, same happens at my road. There's always hotrods, motorcycles, and...the quite annoying kids with Jettas with only modified exhausts  racing around. I've done a drag race once on it with my brother, my dad's Toyota Sienna (me) vs. my mom's Camry (my brother). :dopey: It can be very annoying with all the sound, especially since there's nothing good in Maine. There was one Ferrari 360 that I caught last year speeding down the street, only a small glimpse of it though. :ouch: Have to say astrodude91, are you getting bored of exotics? So many!

Anyone have any tips on exotic exotic car spotting? I live in Indianapolis, so nothing really exotic. I've seen a couple Lambos and a few Ford GTs and a couple older Ferraris and a lot of Porsches. I just want to see some more exotics. I did see a Jag XKR in Georgia (coming back from Florida) and I seen 2 other Jag XKRs going down. Seen an R8 and a few other things, but don't believe me since I don't have pics, but it did happen.

Z4 M I always see in this lot, just today realized it was an M and not a normal Z4. I don't believe I've ever seen an M BMW before. Obviously aluminum wheels suggest authenticity.

Um, yeah. Seriously, Rue, I've said it before, but your pics look like serious pro photos. Ask Cano about how to get a gig in automotive photography.

I’ve seen this same Spyker three times in La Jolla in the past few years, but it’s always eluded my camera. Friend of mine managed to finally snatch it:
