Nothing terribly amazing, but not boring.

Alfa 146 2.0ts: simple black hatchback. Not a big deal, except for the fact that this was in New York. I don't think I've ever seen a 146 in the US. Come to think of it, I don't think it was ever sold here. As if backing that up, the hatch had diplomatic plates.

Mercedes C32 AMG: brand new white sedan, right opposite the 146 mentioned above. Both were out in front of my store. I walked over to one, then the other, then back again, not sure which was more interesting. Something imported or something cool? :D The C32 is my preferred AMG, being somewhat affordable and having little of the typical Merc heft.

Aston Martin DB7 Volante: black, driven by someone so sedate, considering it was an Aston driver in Scarsdale. Then again, I don't think I've any Aston driven the way most BMW's are driven.

There's been a bunch of other stuff, mostly clients' cars mentioned ages ago (Z8's, 911's, etc.). I need another trip to Greenwich. ;)

well i see these cars just about every day

:tvr:Cerbera belongs to a guy that owns a chain of restaurants near me

:ferrari:355 red of course belongs to some tosser with long hair absolute idiot (look at me iv'e got a :ferrari:attitude)and he drives so slooooowwwww whats the point of having a car like that if your only going to drive 20MPH

:aston: DB7 Vantage British racing green One of my bosses cars lovely machine

:mercedes: SL 500 my other bosses car also a lovely car this is the car i had a wee accident in  done 3 and half K's worth of damage i thought that was me getting the can for that one

I see loads of other machines if i remeber them i will post them up ;)

Oh i forgot i did not see this today but about two months ago

A :subaru:Impreza 22B I was present when the **** that was driving it slamed into the back of another car doing almost 80MPH faster than the car in front i was 20 or so ft away i was lucky not to get involved with that one

When i got home i could not stop Laughing thinking about it... the guy driving was obviously trying to impress his friends but in the end no car totaly writen off serves him right for doing 110MPH in a 30 zone luckly there were no fatalitys

Couple of months ago, I saw a guy driving a 360 Spider, with the top down. No problem, you would think, he was driving along a city centre street, minding his own business, but that wasn't it.

No, what really got me was the fact that he was wearing a Ferrari shirt and a Ferrari hat! What a d***head!

Did a lot of shopping today and as a result of going up and down the highways spotted:

30th Anniversay Camaro (at the Chevy dealership)

BMW M3 (first time ever)

Ferrari Testarossa (don't know the year, only 2nd time seeing a Ferrari)

2 Plymouth Prowlers

PT Cruiser limo (had a "Just Married" sticker on back window)

Hummer limo

3 old cars. The first one had the driver seated to the right and had a tag saying "61RR", so I guess it was a 1961 something. The second one was from the oncoming lane of traffic on the highway and I didn't get a good look at it. The third one was a 1930s something Benz roadster that looked very old fashioned. Definite head-turner.

Porsche ? (I'm gonna guess a 2001 911 Turbo. I'm not very fond of the '9' series Porchses.)

Lambo Countach. My friends dad bought one. What a sweet car. It sounds real nice also

 what a sad git this gut must have been  If i ever get my hands on a ferrari i will be flooring it :D

thinking of doing one of those weekend racer deals where you get to drive exotic cars .rally cars etc tearing round a circuit and rally course's Yeah im gonna do that i like that idea it cost around £250 for 2 days something like that ;)

Exotic-Rent-A-Car ------- mmmmmm yummy

I saw some sort of Mec today, AMG E33???? Im not sure, it was a nice car, a Mitsi Evo 6 (asian driver, of course) and some other type of Evo parked next to it in the Gas Station.

Been busy this week, so this is more or less a collection of the past 5 days.

Ferrari 360M: rosso red; outside some good Italian cafe, parallel parked right behind a...

Shelby Cobra: silver; don't know if it was a kit or not, or even what year, but the shape was unmistakeable. An odd combination, especially since I just read in EVO about a Daytona/Cobra matchup.

Bentley Arnage: some old, green, P.O.S Bentley. Why "P.O.S."? Well, have you seen the upcoming GT coupe? Truly, the Bentley Boys are back!

Acura NSX Targa: gull grey; almost thought it was the same one I've been seeing around Scarsdale, but the Targa top wasn't there before....

Porsche 930/911 Turbo: guards red; unless this was the product of some solid aftermarket tuning, this Turbo was motoring up the West Si^H^H^H^H^H^HJoe DiMaggio Highway.

Maserati Spyder: the most achromatic silver I've ever seen. Stuck in traffic going down Joey D's Highway, later in the same day as the 911.

Well since there is a European car repair place just down the road from where I work there are always Ferrari's and Porsches there getting pannel work done so I see heaps of them. Just get old after a while not very interesting

You have a Ford Explorer?

I saw a NSX today. It looked like it had rear ended someone as the front end was all messed up.

There was also 3 hummer H2s on the road.

ohh... and 2 350Z's a couple days ago.

i see a kit cobra around my area pretty often (kit as in built, and not the real deal). but ive seen the real thing twice (and on the same street). the real thing is just stunning. you can feel the rumble as it passes by.

as for the kit, it still looks pretty nice. i guess its alright, considering its hard to purchase one of the real-deals.

Yeah if you wanna fork out a cool $300,000US then you can get a real one, we'll have to go with the kit option (me and my dad) but it will only ever have a 427 in it, to have a cobra with a 351 is a crime.

Back to the themes thing again:

Volkswagen Passat W8: pale, pale blue; yes M5Power, they do exist. Had to go up to Bedford (borderline stupid rich) to see one, though.

Mercedes SL500: 2003, all sorts of colors, all nice; no SL55's though. Not this week, at least. For once, can't someone buy the top-line model? ;) Oh, wait, someone did:

Mercedes S55: straight-up silver; the true executive saloon. And keeping the '55 trend:

Mercedes ML55: silver; pumping "gangsta rap" to all of Hartsdale. Sheesh; of all the AMG's to show up in lower Westchester...and on my day off, too. Someone please help this poor guy. But it was all good, thanks to a...

Phenomenally Attractive Asian Girl: Okay, this wasn't a car. But she was right after the ML55, and I got a thing for Asian women. Even went out of her way to get my attention...in a really...nice way. *sigh* I wish I were more of a ladies' man. Heck, I wish I were any kind of ladies man. Could have made my simply satisfactory day off a very satisfying day...with a happy ending. :D

A Mercury Maurder- It was black with chromey rims. He passed me on I-75 and I was doing 80mph. That big heavy thing can really go.

A Nissan 350Z- First one around here I guess. I saw it at the bank when I went to get some money.

I saw a Renault Espace (no, it was not the F1!) at a gas station yesterday. With Florida license plates on it (registered in Lee county). Why, I do not know.

Rarer than many other cars you find here, for Renaults haven't been sold on these shores for about 10 years now.

I saw a :ferrari: 360 today red of course lovely machine and i was plesantly surprised to find that it had the standard manual gear box rather than the padle operated gear change on the steering wheel

according to :ferrari: sales statistics 70% of 360 buyers opted for the padle operated gear change system

Fair enough to them but i hate those gearboxes i like the old school gear stick myself and looks like this :ferrari:360 owner does too ;)

Coz i live in a remote desolate part of nowwhere i.e. scotland. The best car i saw today was a Misubishi shogun V6 3.0 and a subaru impreza WRX 2.0. in some countries i have seen cobras and nice big Lancias.

Just one, and it's taking me forever to figure out what it is. I only saw it once, in passing, but I know what I saw:

Lotus Esprit Convertible

Not targa, not barchetta, full top-down convertible. Now I can't find any reference to any such Esprit convertible, targa, or anything, so I'm guessing it was some kind of Ferrari. It definitely had the front end of the Esprit, with a near-Testarossa rear end, only the horizontal black lines weren't there, or at least not as prominent. It was also Esprit-sized...in a very Ferrari red. Confused? Me too.

Anyone have any ideas?

Probably a Testarossa. Can't recall ever seeing any pics of an Esprit convertible.

Went out to eat tonight and as we were leaving the restaurant, saw what appeared to be an S2000. I looked a little closer and saw the BMW symbol, so then I thought it was a Z3. Upon closer inspection, I realized that it wasn't the Z3 but in fact was the new Z4. I didn't know they were out yet. Sweet.

I also saw quite a few "ricers" (I'm assuming they were street racers). All the following cars were modded and were at or pulling out of a gas station: two modded Integras, a Sentra, a Celica, a Neon, a car that appeared to be a distorted Celica from looking at the front end which I'm assuming was a Hyundai, and another car that I can't remember.

I saw a 240SX today. I hadn't seen one of those in a long time.

what i see is the best thing in the world.
