edit: thank you to everybody that turned up last night. It was great to have such a large grid racing. To hondy and all the other folks recording and posting their vids, great we can all learn from it. Yeah and appreciation from my side to you guys for keeping the thread and alive and civil. We all have different views and as long as we can debate and disagree on a mature level, long may it continue 👍

I only chose this track because I want to see HOW close plus it's not a car often used.

Another thing. Am I allowed to change the car? Being almost 40km slower than almost everything will be very frustrating. Not to mention the time it takes to get there...

I'm thinking joining FLX in the Aston

If not oh well, it'll be a very lonely season

Well, I said I'd be with you in spirit, so I bought myself a Ford Matech GT1 and did about 3 laps in it at Dubai straight off, just to see how far away from you guys I'd be.

This was my result....lots of polishing up to do, so not too awful.

I then took my MC12 round for comparison, and seemingly not much in it, but then again that could just mean I'm rubbish in both cars.

Maybe the OP is not very clear on this point. Let me explain it a bit better. The GT1 car choice is a free choice for the duration of the series, in other words you can choose which ever car you like. Point 2) says you can change your car whenever you want. So you can race the Lambo one Sunday and change to the Aston the next Sunday. The only restriction is that you have to do the TT's and the race with the same car for that Sunday. Hope that helps Rom...so you are able to change your car no worries 👍

Knocked time down to 155.3xx with the Ford GT at Dubai today, so I'll keep plugging away.
