Going through the car list, you can't help but feel the disappointment, the car list is pretty damn awful. Many people use this site for competitive racing and many of the series' held here are based around GT500, DTM and Le Man spec cars. Unless I'm mistaken there are 2 new GT500/SuperGT cars!

I kind of can't help but feel we are paying £40 for a little bit of DLC just like how gamers who play games like Call of Duty or Fifa do with their recycled trashy games what get released every year to make money.

Lets just hope the ingame mechanics are improved as if we were going by the demo/GT-A they released PD are taking this game backwards.

Here's hoping the track list will have a lot more new additions and not just slapping 2 or 3 new race tracks and claiming its a new game.

I feel disappointed too in the same way with the same reasons. However, the Super GT500 today is just the HSV, GT-R and Lexus, my disappointment is the lack of other race cars.

Am I the only one who doesn't find race cars that exciting? I mean, they're awesome of course, but they all feel pretty much the same and have similar cockpits in comparison to the road cars, which all have a different personality and look better.
You're not the only one. I never use them and find them boring. They all feel the same, I'd rather drive the normal cars.

Isn't this a racing game? To add only 2! new racing cars, but as PD standards dictate; make sure there are tens of new small underpowered Japanese saloons nobody's interested in is weird to say the least, the OP is right...

If all you want is SuperGT/GT500, then Gran Turismo is probably not the game for you.

Did you read the car list? There's not just 2 new racing cars.
And the number of new small underpowered Japanese cars? They are exactly four, if I counted them right.

They're going to allow RM on all cars. So invalid whine is invalid
When was that said??? Did I miss something?

I am sad that the championship winning Ford FR500/BOSS302 race cars will be ignored AGAIN. Shame PD would ignore a successful factory backed race program that has been running for more than 5 years.

Same here.

Gran Turismo miss cars like Alfa Romeo GTV6. Certainly not race cars.

The what won what in what?

Never heard, but I must say I never watch that World Challenge GTS thing or that other strange NASA racing series. Actually I've never heard of them before...

Thats funny, I thought there were too many racing cars when I was reading the car list.Especially considering GT doesn't really favor one specific class of car ( which I personally like), it looks to me they actually favored racing cars with this new list..

That's quite a depressing list of new racing cars... Bunch of great cars in there but I mean, it's just such a "that's it?" list.

There is no Aston Martin GT3 (or even GTE), no R18 e-tron and TS030.

Without them, the game will look even more unfinished to me.

It would be great news if it was true. Well, it might be but unless he has seen something nobody else have, they've announced no such thing.

Wouldn't it just,thanks for clarifying.

I had high hopes for a field of GT3 cars (the Aston, Ferrari 458, McLaren). But Kaz knows what is coming in DLC.
We still have that promise. Regular DLC cars. But still, more race cars would be great (singleseater?)
