Would users be happier if PD stuck to 150+ cars since the original GT? NONE of us gave a azz rats about the Original GT car list. You could RM most cars and we still had hours of fun. If we only had the 124+ cars from GT6 new list and DLC coming, would this be better than including the 1000 cara accumulated over time? Just a question.

To answer your question, No. Then GT wouldn't have enough cars.

Ferrari 458 GTE (or GT3), Lamborghini Gallardo LP-600 GT3, Ford GT Matech, Aston Martin DBR9, Aston Martin Vantage GTE (or GT3), Maserati MC-12 GT1, Mclaren MP4-12C GT3, Lamborghini Murcielago R-SV GT1, SRT Viper GTS-R, Toyota TS030, Oreca 03 Nissan, Zytec Z12SN Nissan, Red Bull RB9... and these are just some of the top of my head.

It's true the list is supposed to be incomplete but having just half of these cars would be incredible.

Maybe it's because alot of people don't care all that much about the race cars. Not saying it wouldn't be nice if they added more...but most people use road cars alot more than race cars.
Do you have any stats for that?
I would imagine the lack of race cars would be a contributing factor in less being used.

Got any proof? Because traffic figures from websites that report on motorsport suggest otherwise by far.

Why mention road cars that GT is missing in a thread about race cars then? Why not mention some race cars that's missing and stay on topic?

Because I just wanted to throw the point that GT6's car list is nothing impressive and it's still lacking. Whether if it's race cars or road cars this game doesn't have a impressive car list.
that's all.

hoping that RM is there for all cars...would alleviate this as an issue...im rather disappointed that the new Viper GTS-R didn't make it....we get the GTS, and the GTS Launch Edition....would trade both of them for the TA and the GTS-R

That would be very surprising, if they already neglected updating basic things then implementing a RM version for all cars would have taken up their whole production time.

Those 3 years developing by PD were entirely spend on graphics and physics i think...

i agree...very unlikely...but im going to keep some hope alive lol...im at least hoping that the cars its available for has expanded (particularly the Viper lol)

GT Academy surely opened the door to those who dont know about GT3 race cars. It's only natural to bring these series to Gran Turismo. We're missing updated GT500 GT-Rs and SC430s. Unless, PD are introducing the 2014 GT500 cars as Base Models.

We still dont know if more 2013 Le Mans cars are in the game. Exactly one month to go. Cant wait.

I couldn't care less if there are less racing cars. I want more road legal cars! There are still so many classic Japanese, American and European cars that need to be added to this great game!

Race Cars are boring? But youre buying a game about racing, cars! So your car is a 'racing car' if its racing. That means you're stating a double negative. Technically speaking any cars racing are race(racing) cars. The difference is the Race Cars are designed to do just that. Street or road cars are not. Then the options to better your car with "racing suspension" and the like are bringing your car closer to... a Race Car! :dopey: So I dont get that statement. Maybe throwing soft tires on the things is what makes it boring? Or people just like sliding around or going slow, which isn't really racing at all.

That's quite a depressing list of new racing cars... Bunch of great cars in there but I mean, it's just such a "that's it?" list.
Like has already been said, with rolling DLC there could be a lot more still coming for those of you who like that sort of thing.

Personally though, I favour the GT The Real Driving Simulator experience which it's always been - ie: a focus on regular cars.

No no. I love racing and crusing, but just find just race cars uninteresting. I should have worded it better.

i just dont see how having the OPTION to RM your cars effects your experience in any way whatsoever??...
"To each his own". I understand it somewhat annoys you, but it's just my opinion.

I think, that there is reason that some cars are named with the additional words "Base Model". My opinion is, that you can paint these cars with different and ready liveries. These are the cars with "Base Model" in the name:

15. Autobacs Garaiya GT300 Base Model '08
20. BMW M3 GT2 Base Model '11
52. Honda HSV-010 GT Base Model '12
54. Honda NSX GT500 Base Model '08
68. Lexus IS350 GT300 Base Model '08
69. Lexus SC430 GT500 Base Model '08
77. McLaren F1 GTR Race Car Base Model '95
80. Monster Sport SX4 Base Model '11
81. Nissan GT-R GT500 Base Model '08
83. Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 Base Model '13
85. Nissan Z GT500 Base Model '06
88. Peugeot Peugeot 908 HDi FAP Base Model '10
94. RE Amemiya RX7 GT300 Base Model '06
99. Renault Sport Mégane Trophy Base Model '11
106. Subaru BRZ GT300 Base Model '12
107. Subaru IMPREZA GT300 Base Model '08
116. Toyota 86 Race Car Base Model '12
118. Toyota Supra GT500 Base Model '05
122. Volkswagen Scirocco GT24 Base Model '08

Just to be sure, would that be this:

If you mean this (and not the Electric car from the Trailer), then that's another huge surprise I didn't expect.
