This. I'll buy it no matter what. I sit here right now trying to convince myself that I'll be picky about it, only give them my money if it's truly worth it, but I know that's not really true. I'll want to try out every track and car that comes along...
I am exactly the same. I know I will purchase each and every piece of GT6 DLC. This is the most excited I have been for a game in a long time excluding GTAV.

In fact it is the only reason my PS3 is not being boxed up come 29 Nov.

It depends really. If they give me a car that I've ALWAYS and REALLY wanted in the game then I'll just about pay anything (reasonably ofocurse). but if it's just one track for $5 I'm not buying it (like Twin ring motegi or whatever. i never bought that DLC but I bought everything else)

According to Kaz, DLC will drop every single month and there will be a new track in the package. If this is true, I think you're going to see a massive amount of moaning about Sony turning into MS and putting the screws to customers. As a minimum expect to pay at least $5 and probably closer to $10 per month to get all the available content. I'll get it, but I highly doubt it will be well received and I expect DLC tracks, outside of the incredibly popular, to be pretty scarce in open lobbies, much like Motegi is now.

If TT's and Seasonal Events are held at DLC tracks and exclude anyone who hasn't purchased a particular track, expect the GT faithful to turn on PD and Kaz like a pack of wolves:mad::mad::mischievous::yuck::grumpy:

For three years, customer feedback has being telling Kaz that Forza is better. So he made GT smell and feel a bit like Forza.

At the same time, what does Turn 10 do? It rushes a release through. Sure, it looks pretty, seems to have less features than GT5 3 years ago. Very Prologue.

It would be a really bad DLC for me not to get it. A DLC with a bunch of 90s Japanese station wagons for example.

Would you get this? Because its likely what we'll get

'13 Nissan Cube
'13 Nissan GT Academy 350Z Tuned
'13 Nissan GT-R GT Academy 15th Anniversary Chrome Line
'13 Nissan Juke
'13 Gran Turismo KART 125 GT Academy

For me it really depends on what is being offered. Hopefully it will be something were you get one car instead of 5 if you so choose.

No, and I don't think most people would. Lame cars or retreads with different stickers and/or a little tuning will not appeal to the vast majority of gamers.

Exactly. And if this kind of package turns out to be the "quantum leap policy", well, more whining and crying is coming.

I used to hate this business model, but after some many years with this current generation of consoles, I've gotten used to it. I don't entirely love it, but it doesn't bother me anymore.

As for GT6, I would say depending on the content, but most likely I'll end up buying every DLC pack that comes out.

If it was a JukeR I would get it. I'll put some rally tires on it and see what it can do.

Will probably get most stuff if the cars are grouped like the first couple packs of 5, if you pick and choose which dlc's to buy I probably won't get cars that aren't likely to be fun or interesting, mainly based on what I read here. Won't be buying any crap like some form of X1.

Will most likely buy any track that's released.

I'll only bother with tracks if they are implemented into the game far better than they were in GT5. Cars I'll probably only buy if they split them up, since there's no reason to buy them in packs (since there probably won't be any discounts) except so they can charge you for cars you won't want.

Funnily enough, I would probably have more fun with that pack than I'd like to admit.

Just like most of the people here for me is all about the content itself, if it has nice cars, and/or tracks i'll buy, if it's just a pack with 1 nice car and the rest is a bunch of insignificant cars, not buying it... and only if the price is right for me.
I would really like more focused DLCs, like a hot hatchback DLC, with like 5/10 cars, or a muscle car pack, hyper cars, etc, that way people would buy the type of cars they like more, instead of a mix of a Koenigsegg Agera R with some VW beetles... Or even a "brand pack" like a Ferrari pack, Lambo, Koenigsegg, and then people could buy what they want without buying one by one.

Tracks i'd purchase freely especially if Watkins Glenn, Virginia International, Sebring or Hockenheim for example were in the mix, though VIR is a longshot, along with any classic iterrations of famous Circuits or Street courses, though they won't be laser scanned. However I won't be purchasing any car packs or possible individual DLC offerings that have the titles, Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, or Subaru as there are more than enough of those cars included in the Default Car list. The 2014 Lexus IS Coupe is stunning so I would definitely get that. If PD shows some diversity in there decisions concerning vehicles that could become DLC there would be more than enough choices to go around where I wouldn't miss out on not purchasing those particular automobiles from those specific brands.

It depends, if it's cars and they're worthwhile (imo) and not overly expensive I'll probably get it (If it's over $1.00/car I will probably pass unless it's a car I really want).

Tracks are a whole different situation since even if they are great tracks I won't be getting them unless they incorporate them into single player somehow(event creator would solve this issue). Granted I did buy Spa for GT5, but that's a must-have even if it's just for hot-lapping and photo shoots.
