I've just looked again, but the bundle was not there anymore (German store).
When I tried to get to the bundle through the 'What's new' section in the store, it provided me with an error message - which I can't quite remember, but along the lines of 'it is not available for you'.

Given that I've already bought the complete package, the availability of the bundle might be dependent on the 'buy status' of the DLC; i.e. you bought it, you won't see it any more.

That would make sense, because the Track-DLC can only be purchased once ("red bag"-icon).

That would be odd, if the intention is, that one user should be able to buy same DLC multiple times... Unless they want to assure that you only are able to re-buy cars, paints and gear (not tracks as these are 'permanent')..

Was the tracks-package available to you? (I am not able to check at my PS3 at the moment)

EDIT: Tree'd by Pheips :sly:

I bought the bundle (but can't buy it again) and now the separate packages are marked as follows in the PSN Store:

Tracks - red bag (purchased, but cannot be purchased again)
Cars, Paints, Gears - blue bag (purchased and can be purchased again)

Btw:
I have an Austrian PSN Account, but bought my GT5 Copy in a british online Store and therefore seem to have the UK Version of GT5, but I had no region problems. So I guess (!!!) any european (or at least EU) account will work with any european copy of the game in terms of DLC-Compatibilty. In case someone is wondering.

good to hear, got the same versions of the PSN Acc and GT5 Disc here, but was too afraid to buy the dlc yet. seems like the "regions" here are only US, EU or Asia :)

I'm done with the DLC argument but don't act like I'm stupid please. I'm from The Netherlands. So yes I don't know what power windows are. I had an idea that it were electric windows but I thought it also could be windows made of strengthened glass or something like that. I do know it now thanks to google. I could name thousands of dutch words you wouldn't know. Like ''ramen''

Really???? Soooo the Netherlands have the Internet, but, they don't have power windows on cars....Interesting. And I suppose that you have NO idea what a Spyker C-8 is then either?

In Europe they are known as electric windows, not power windows.

Errrm.. lack of command of the English language, not the commonality of electric (power) windows in cars driven in the Netherlands. The reference to the Spyker quite eludes me.

BTW, quite OT, and irrelevant.

To be fair "power windows" is a US term, over in Europe we call em "electric windows".

So, your point is completely pointless.

I think PD simply did some bad work, in terms that their program code seems very difficult to adapt. First we had to wait until it was even possible to restart a race without being sent back to the menu, then it took them almost a year until it was possible to save during a race (a ****g year for a save option!!!). Now the DLC was included in the last update, so they were not able to adapt to the psn system neither. Additionally I guess Sony wanted them to include some kind of security to prevent misusage of the DLC and PD couldn't find another way to implement those security messures in their completly screwed up code. Embarrassing

Yes, for me this DLC story looks really odd too.
I don't see myself buying this DLC, at least as long as it stay this way.
Only one of each car, same for paint chips, for only one account and for the price it is.

But I think its not easy to imagine that a company the size of PD/Sony did not intended it to, say, try to make more profit.

Although at the same time, just like you stated, GT5 since its launch has been a somewhat odd product:
Some considerable delays, clearly unfinished product, this awful way, in my opinion, of handling exclusive content: what is exclusive now, may tomorrow be available for free to repair their mistakes... etc, etc, etc.
All this cast doubt whether the guys at PD/Sony in charge of GT5 have competence enough to provide a finished and tested product or not

Just to state: I usually play GT5 and like it.
But nonetheless I see its awkward strangeness.

Just yesterday while I was doing some time trial I realized, again, that up to this day the time boards don't work as I think most of us would think they should. The time boards don't really regard which car you used, only times, which means they record only the top times, which eventually will end up being with the same cars, the fastest ones.
Say I want to record my fastest time in Nür with a Samba Bus; not possible anymore for me, since the boards are all filled up with my fastest times using more potent cars.

The only option available ingame for me to solve this problem:
clear the time board completely!! :ouch: Which competent racing game developer would suggest this?

Oh come on guys at PD, with all respect for the hard work that I know you've done, do you guys really know what you're doing?
And when I think about all the complexity that may be involved in GT5 which the developers have done, these kind of 'simple' missing features looks really awkward...

(please someone correct me if I'm missing a way to solve this time boards issue)

And there you go ending the thread with a long, thoughtful post... We don't need none of that in here! JK, but not on the first part, though this will revive it. ;)

I'm just hating myself right now, I'll need to setup a new one right? this is just plain ridiculous! s**t..... start it all again, just for some crappy cars....

I'm in the same situation .. what I don't understand is that the content was included with the Spec II update and when we buy the DLC in the PSN store we are just given an activation code.

How come the update worked but not the DLC part of it?

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense and Sony is going to lose money.

By locking some part of new things they just wanted to make some money, I guess :sly:.

The thing is that it maybe more than just one DLC hidden in Spec 2.0. That would be very stupid. It feels like they give you a locked treasure box in present with no key to it. But they surely can sell you the key later. I hate PD for their public lie to everyone when they officially introduced the list of Spec 2.0 changes. It wouldn't be so dissappointing if they noticed about locked content immediately.

Just when you think sony cant 🤬 this dlc up anymore, they do. I'm a ps+ member, paid my £9.49 yesterday, and today in the store ps+ members get a £2 discount on the bundle. What a bunch of incompetent idiots.

There are plenty of righteous complaints about this DLC implementation.

It being locked in part of Spec II is not one of them. Somebody complaining that it's locked in Spec II please tell me how that makes a difference?
What, because it came with an update you should get it all for free? Or...? What?

Yeah I'm waiting to see how they band-aid fix that one. Maybe give all those who purchased before the discount a free paint chip.....

They did it that way so when there is an online race, everyone can see the new DLC cars etc even though they haven't brought them.

It was nothing sinister....

This is all becoming just a "any reason to complain" thing now.

They release a ton of patches long after the game releases. People complain.
They release DLC. People complain
They decide on a delay. People complain

Does it ever just stop.

It's sad indeed. Either people are simply spoiled crybabies, or they have absolutely nothing else to do with their time but complain about a video game. Pathetic!

You are right that some of the complatins are pointless, but the majority of people here are frustated by the single account restrition as well as the need for perfect stellar alignment of regions on disc/PSNaccount/DLC. Tottally valid arguments.

Its because of the crybabies and constant whiners that we have mid-game saves, rewind-forward replays, G25/27 support and bunch of other features that should've been in the final game.

There's also normal feedback that doesn't involve crying and complaining about everything.

"Regarding the DLC usage for multiple accounts,"

"We’re planning an another update for GT5 in December. In that update users who purchased cars and tracks from the DLC already,"

"-can receive a free “family upgrade” in the PS Store, which will let all users in the same PS console use the DLC."

"And though we looked into this, unfortunately there’s no solution for crossing multiple regions."

"I’m sorry, but we have to ask you to match the region of your disc and your PSN account setting."

"People who bought the DLC cars will have those cars added to the dealers in the December update."

"After this December update you can purchase a second car and so on from the dealer."
