I voted neither because I'm not old enough to have them yet. And I'm already hyper enough that I don't need coffee. (inserts sugar rush smile)

:-)

Tea, Earl Grey, Hot.

Rrrrrrrrrrright.

I can't even recall the last time I saw two coffee beans of different genders making out...
 It's just an expression that us kids use to describe things we don't like.
That's because they're still in the closet
My coffee was very happy to see me today.
First, you know too much random stuff Famine.

Second, Sakiale is just at that age where everything he doesn't like is clearly "gay." Its also the age of random posts, quotes, and crazy comparisons.
Correct.
And he clearly has his tea with a cup of sugar, because its not exactly sweet either. Hell, he is 13, I know he is putting a good amount of sugar in there.
Incorrect. Yes, I do put sugar and milk or lemon in there sometimes, maybe 40% of the time, and if you add tea that's bought with sugar/fruit/etc already, maybe 70% of the time, but I do have a good cup of tea, either black (?) or just with lemon, a good part of the time. I even have that crazy super-strong tea that Chinese people drink... like shots of alcohol, but I like the tea better than alcohol. That stuff is really bitter.

I know.

Banning is just an expression us moderators use to get rid of people who think that "gay" is an acceptable way of expressing dislike.

Make it so, number one.
Only celebrity impression I'm good at! When I do Christopher Walken or Schwarzenegger, it's so bad that it upsets people occasionally. :)

I drink both. I didn't start drinking coffee until probably just couple of years ago. I've always liked tea, especially Japanese and English-ish teas. Coffee, I started drinking to battle the cold winter. I usually don't put sugar in neither.

Tea cause I think coffee is gay.. but whatever if you like it. It's like beer... people like it but I don't know why. I don't need either. I get high on life.
I can see where you might get the idea that coffee is pure crap (ref: Kopi Luwak).
But tea is for the cultured and genteel.
A few of us drink both.
What does that make us?
Keep in mind as you answer that I'm 6', over 300 lb, and have spent time in prison.*:scared:

Aww, you covered yourself there. I was going to tack on your occupation.

DON'T even start, Famine... I mean it.

** After you ban me, note that if I had wanted to be banned, I would've told you to stick your head up a vulgar body part. As I am a nicer person than last year, I do not wish for you to do so. However, I do believe that the quoted post was totally unnecessary, and based at least partially on our history. If you really believed that it was a serious issue, you would've simply given me an infraction. And since I'm sure that you don't, and you're not just being nice by not giving me my third infraction, and that you know that I actually have no problem with homosexual people and am just in the habit of using the term, I am highly offended by your feeling that it was necessary for that post.

By the way... homework is gay.

I said that I think it's total crap. If I had wanted to offend anybody, I'd say 'coffee tastes like ****, anyone who drinks it is a ****ing retard'. I was voicing my personal opinion.

Thanks for reminding me of kopi luwak...

Oh, I forgot about this thread!

So, I made my first pot of Earl Gray, and it isn't too bad. I think going on Red Tea first may have altered my tastes too much, but I defiantly like it (EG) better than Green Tea. I'm using Twinings for my EG, and its decaffeinated, so I have no idea how the taste would change from brand-to-brand.

I think my big problem is going to be that I like it much better cold as opposed to hot (crazy Americans...). I didn't put anything in it the first time, and it wasn't too bad. I'll probably try it with milk next time.

DON'T even start, Famine... I mean it.

You know when you get a little button which says on it, in big red letters, "DO NOT PUSH THIS BUTTON"?

That aside, I have absolutely no clue what this part of your post means. Start what? Why shouldn't I "start"? You mean what? Why is the fact that you "mean" it in any way important or relevant?

You don't like being upbraided for posting offences? Here's a thought: Don't make posting offences.

** After you ban me, note that if I had wanted to be banned, I would've told you to stick your head up a vulgar body part.

Why is what you want relevant?

As I am a nicer person than last year, I do not wish for you to do so. However, I do believe that the quoted post was totally unnecessary, and based at least partially on our history. Actually, I was just letting you know that saying that things are "gay" is not particularly nice, intelligent or mature. I know you're not the oldest member of this site, but you can post like a sensible adult - which is primarily why you've not had any attention from the moderators in a while.

I am highly offended by your feeling that it was necessary for that post.

Then report me.

I'm sure "coffee is gay" was in no way offensive to anyone. Nosiree.

By the way... homework is gay.

*sigh*

Sometimes I wonder if I was too nice to you when you were RogueSSV.

I said that I think it's total crap.

So in your mind gay = crap? I'm sure that's not offensive to anyone.

If I had wanted to offend anybody,

Once again, what you want is irrelevant.

I'd say 'coffee tastes like ****, anyone who drinks it is a ****ing retard'.

*sigh*

I was voicing my personal opinion.

And I was letting you know that your personal opinion that "gay" can be used as a universal derogatory term is not acceptable on GTPlanet. It never has been, it never will be and people have received strikes for it. You, with a chequered history as "a" member here, really ought to know the boundaries and where not to push them.

Dude,
That entire post was "tongue in cheek".
Take a deep breath!
Take a Xanax!
Do whatever you do to chill...
It wasn't a personal attack.
Note the smiley indicating joking.
The reference to kopi luwak was indicating, by way of a joke, that some coffee is indeed total crap!

EASE UP!

I'll drink Tea if it's offered to me, but I drink coffee more. I find tea has too much of a dry flavour - I much prefer strong yet sweet coffee (even if it is instant...).

Jondot,
As a coffee lover, I have to apologize, but instant coffee is not coffee.
It makes the idea of Kopi Luwak sound good!:yuck:

Great episode. 👍 (Consume 100 drinks of Coffee in a single day and you can pass through space-time ten-fold? Intriguing...)

I drink neither, for some reason, I don't like both...Tea tastes like warmed up water and coffee is just :ill: I'll have a cup of milk please 👍

I used to know somebody who made "teafee" - brew a cup of tea with a teabag, then put in one spoon of instant coffee - :ill: :yuck: (Where's that :barf: smiley when you need it?)

[edit] And that woman should have been sent to the hospital for having bad hair, not for a caffeine overdose.

That is just naxty! The "x" is intentional.
You just caused the "Damn!" shudder!:yuck:
!!Yick!!

Two cups of water + one bag of Early Grey + two teaspoons of sugar = winning combination... I'm officially a tea guy!

Coffee, only with anisette toast or from Dunkin Donuts. Lipton tea ftw when you're sick, though. I like both, but a good cup of tea is a lot faster, cheaper, and easier to make than a good cup of coffee.

Earl Grey tastes like how I imagine my balls would: not quite disgusting, but there is definitely something funky going on. I avoid it.

YSS, Try using honey with Earl Grey.

I prefer sugar with the tea that I usually drink (Orange Pekoe), but that's just because I brew it strong and sugar helps mask any bitterish aftertastes.

I've had it with Honey and its hit and miss. I may add it to my next brew once again... I however won't be doing milk any time soon...
