I've stopped doing statistics on these roulettes because PD changes their design every other update.
But someone has done some data gathering of the current state of the daily ticket rewards:
So the information we have is:
At level 20+ Collector level, the chances for us to receive a 4* or higher ticket is 58+5+3% = 66%
I'm going to discount 6* part and engine tickets because those are so incredibly rare (probably less than 1%) that they are irrelevant, plus the normal 6* ticket doesn't give engines or special parts. So let's make it only the 4* and 5* ticket odds that are much more common. So, it's basically 63%.
The chance for a
special car part to be given in a 4* or 5* ticket is 10%.
I don't know if PD has added more special car parts, but from my studies of the Ticket BONANZA days, I could confirm there are at least 205 individual Special Car Parts to be won from these tickets.
Let's do some math:
-So 63% odds of getting a 4*/5* tickets is basically around 230 of these tickets per year.
-Out of those 230 tickets, we only have a 10% chance to get a Special Car Part. So that's basically 23 tickets, ergo, 23 car parts
per year.
-There's 205 individual car parts, so 205/23 *drum roll: 8,9, let's round this up:
9 YEARS to get all 205 car parts.
BUT WAIT!!! THERE'S MORE!!! This is assuming the absolutely unrealistic scenario that whenever we get a special car, it's not a duplicate. And let's be real, this is never going to happen, it's almost impossible actually.
Back in the ticket glitch days, I've opened over 6.000 (yes,
6 thousand) 4* tickets which back in the day also had a 10% odd of giving a special car part, and yet, I've got only just more than half of those 205 parts, 122 to be more precise (and a crapton of duplicates).
So I've opened the equivalent of
16 YEARS worth of tickets and I got just a bit more than half of those 205 individual special car parts.
This is truly unbelievable... This was even after the updates, because the odds were even worse before, I've seen someone on the Discord channel calculating the time needed to get all 205 car parts at
HUNDREDS OF YEARS.
We are talking about game developers here, guys that are supposed to excel at math, or at the very least, know BASIC math (which is what I just did).
I
REFUSE to believe they arbitrarily chose these odds for the ticket prizes. This definitely wasn't random, this was quite clearly a choice.
Why? That's the question... Why did they decide to go with this choice? Is this to just drag things out so that people keep playing the game?
By the time I get all of these car parts, we are already on Gran Turismo 12 on the Playstation 10 or something in 2050. That's assuming the game doesn't get AXED by the offline servers going down that is...
People... This needs to get attention. It's just way too ridiculous. Someone at PD has to read this and make drastic changes to the way we can get these parts (and also the engine swaps while we're at it since those also take quite a few years bare minimum).
This game couldn't be more off-putting to the casual player that just wants to have fun, even if it tried. Unbelievable...
What is even the point of engine swaps and special car parts if we can't have them?
