Here are the card for Summerslam tomorrow night.

Alexa Bliss v Eva Marie

Drew McIntyre v Jinder Mahal

Smackdown Tag Team Championship
The Usos (c) v Rey & Dominik Mysterio

United States Championship
Sheamus (c) v Damien Priest

Raw Tag Team Championship
AJ Styles & Omos (c) v RK-Bro

Raw Women's Championship-Triple Threat Match
Nikki A.S.H (c) v Rhea Ripley v Charlotte Flair

Edge v Seth Rollins

Smackdown Women's Championship
Bianca Belair (c) v Sasha Banks

WWE Championship
Bobby Lashley (c) v Goldberg

Universal Championship
Roman Reigns (c) v John Cena

That's a pretty stacked card!

I read this week that both Belair and Banks have been medically cleared from whatever it was, so the match goes ahead.

That could still happen though, they might make a match for it on Smackdown tonight.

Hope CM Punk enjoys it. I remember him talking about how WWE took the fun out of wrestling for him so hopefully AEW gets him his wrestling mojo back

I'm glad he's back where he (and seemingly everyone else) can be happy. Very few people can have the crowd in the palm of their hands that way and I can only think of three off the top of my head: Rock, Austin, and 'Taker.

I'm here for it. Next up, Daniel. :D

I think Punk has been the only one to really pull off the "I hated my time at WWE" promo featured in so many AEW debuts. I am mad I don't get any free ice cream though, but such a heel move is expected from a FIB.

Ruby Soho (formerly Ruby Riott) has also been rumored for AEW. Granted she's nowhere near the level of Daniel, but she would certainly be a boost to that division. Now if they could just get more than 15 minutes/week on Dynamite...

I've no idea who that is but the women's division definitely needs more talent, so I'm all for it. I love Britt as champion (I haven't had a favorite women's wrestler since...Chyna? Holy hell; RIP Joanie) and all she really has for competition is Statlander (whom I also love), Shida (same), and Rosa (also, same  ).

Jade isn't there yet and Nyla already had her go.

I think it's because it's more than just WWE not using Punk correctly. There was actual Physical and unsafe working environments and issues with getting his royalties so this here felt more Punk actually speaking his own and not someone pandering to the crowd that hate WWE

WWE response this episode of Smackdown not a good sign.

They tried to add more words to the main event of Reigns vs Cena with Reigns leaving WWE if he loses but if it wasn't obvious enough Cena wasn't winning, here's the massive neon sign  (actually that's not a true, a neon sign saying "Reigns will win" would be less subtle). Since Daniel Bryan left, Roman Reigns heel run has just taken a nose dive.

Then a bunch of repetitive matchups with only Edge vs Rollins standing out as the only highlight of Smackdown again

I’m sure we’ll get a talk is Jericho podcast episode on Punk when he has time to do one now that he officially joined AEW.

C.M. Punk is "The Best in the World," and... he's All-Elite! I only saw bits and pieces of AEW Rampage last night. However, I did see C.M. Punk return to pro wrestling along with "Cult of Personality" playing. I still loved "This Fire Burns" in his early times in the WWE. But, yeah- Chicago-Made Punk is All-Elite!

I did see SmackDown! earlier last night, but not too many things stood out to me to discuss. Well... ONE thing... Edge went old school on Seth Rollins. How old school? Try a flashback to his days with "The Brood," and... I won't spoil much else if you didn't see SmackDown!.

Not a lot on Smackdown last night, the Edge/Rollins thing was pretty good but that's it really, I think that the Reigns/Cena thing last week was so good that they tried to replicate it last night but to no avail, Reigns saying he leaves if he loses felt lazy.

As for the other side, well it looks like I should start watching AEW now as well!

Summerslam pre-show is on very soon, no changes to the card as far as I know, Don't think a pre-show match has even been announced!

Edit: Kick-off show match is Big E v Baron Corbin.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry at this pathetic PPV... 🤣

Looks like AEW didn't even need to bring out CM Punk... This is the worst summerslam in ages 🤣🤣

I didn’t even know SummerSlam was tonight (why is it on Saturday?), judging by what I’ve read I haven’t missed anything that isn’t already uploaded to YouTube.

I'm going to be the negative Nancy and say I hated that ending completely. It's like WWE know people forget how awful Brock Lesnar makes the world title picture and bank on the hype despite how it ruins a good narrative. This is the 3rd part timer in a row to go up against Reigns and it just convinces me to try and find ways to watch AEW but then I remember Kenny Omega put the title on himself. I'm actually sick of it.

And it's not the fact I hate part timers. I hate part timers when they are involved in the championship picture. They don't need it, they can sell PPVs by themselves in personal matches. If Reigns didn't have the title. I'd be all for Reigns vs Lesnar in a Paul Heyman love triangle, but with title wrestlers are supposed to work for, it's a no for me.

Most of the card I didn't care for. RKBro was a great opener though, Becky Lynch saved the Smackdown Womens picture (as long as Belair is still in the fued) and Seth Rollins vs Edge however was terrific storytelling, it actually felt very anime without being stupid. Both wrestlers put up a brilliant performance and I loved it.

Also Charlotte wins LOL, I knew they had nothing for Nikki A.S.H

It was a mixed bag of a show for me, with good things and bad.

It got off to a good start with RK-Bro winning the tag titles, the match itself was good but not great but it did get a big pop from the crowd, Bliss-Marie was terrible but at least Piper Niven/Doudrop came out of it well, Sheamus-Priest was a great match and the crowd were into all those near falls, putting the US title on Priest seems like a good move. Mysterios-Usos was a really good tag match and has anyone noticed that they seem to be splitting the Mysterios up?

Then came the SD women's title, so they didn't have Sasha as she wasn't medically cleared, they used Carmella as a swerve for Becky Lynch he returned and came out to a huge ovation, Becky then attacked Carmella and challenged Belair for the title....and then she won in 20 seconds! Great to have Becky back of course and I think they brought her back earlier than expected but they treated Belair so badly there, she has done so well and been a great champion and all the effort she put in recent months was damaged so quickly, I fear this will hurt her.

It didn't get much better with the Saudi announcement and the Drew Jinder match which was Okay but really should have been on Raw, and that was followed by a terrible Miz/Morrison/Woods segment. but then came the match of the night by far! Edge v Rollins was terrific with brilliant storytelling throughout and they used the neck surgery angle so well, Edge winning via submission was something different for him and his Brood entrance was great and got a great reaction...and he used the Glam Slam!

Raw women's title up next, it was a good match and CharlottewinsLOL, lets hope its a longer reign this time, I knew they wouldn't have anything for Nikki long term, WWE title was up next and I was surprised it went longer than three minutes! Lashley came out of it as a big bad heel and him attacking Gage was good (for the story that is!) Looks they are continuing this feud, the match itself was a bit rough. Main event was next and it was a really good match between Reigns and Cena with some good storytelling, Cena kept trying to win via a roll up and there were a lot of near falls and it was quite a back and forth match with Reigns eventually winning, Lesnar returning after was a big surprise and I think everyone expected him to be on Raw to challenge Lashley, Lesnar attacked Cena when the show went off air, this was definitely a response to CM Punk's return on AEW!

My overall felling was that it was a mixed show, it also went on too long, one or two of the matches could have been on the pre-show quite easily.
