I hope Lashley isn't. The WWE championship feud has a great set up storyline with 3 and Bobby Lashley would be the one guy who's shoe horned in

As I saw in a Twitter headline... happy birthday, Jon Moxley! Happy birthday to this AEW star.

It's really unfortunate but if someone's refusing, what can you do?

I like Jeff Hardy but he really needs help, soon there won't be any chances.

He's been given too many second chances as it is and that's what's been re-enabling him for so long, promotions looking the other way until they couldn't ignore it any longer. And to make matters worse I've heard over the last few years that Jeff hasn't been all that popular in the locker room, so unless Matt finally knocks some sense into him Jeff may not have anyone to pull him back out of the hole if he falls in completely, like Scott Hall or Jake Roberts did.

In retrospect Victory Road really should've been the last straw

WWE had no choice but to release him sadly, I really hope he gets the help he needs.

I don't think there is a single wrestler on any promotion male or female who is more beloved than he is.

Jeff Hardy is a great wrestler, and I've loved him (as well as Matt Hardy and the Hardy Boyz). Though, he had these same problems in TNA. Dude definitely needs help where he can get it.

I would not be surprised if Jeff had relapse, but also I would not be surprised if it was burnout, and I would not be surprised if the offers WWE made for help, genuine as they may be, wasn't a cycle Jeff wanted to be in again.

I hope he's actually OK, Matt and Jeff's wife Beth have tweeted that he's fine, but I'm waiting for his word on it before I set my mind on this.

Still Real To Us have reported that Hardy knew he would get released if he turned down rehab and he did it anyway. He'll get paid up to March 9th when he will become a free agent.

Jonny Gargano becomes a free agent at midnight tonight, WWE have offered numerous contract offers in recent weeks but he has turned them all down, his original contract expired a couple of weeks ago but signed a short term extension so he could do War Games and the farewell on NXT this past week.

Bobby Lashley has been added to the title match at Day 1 making it a fatal four way, how we got there was the main talking points of Raw.

So Bobby had to earn his way into the match like Seth and Kevin did and the way they did that was for Lashley to face Seth, KO and Big E in separate matches during the night and if he won all three he will be added to the big match at Day 1, first up was KO and its was largely all Lashley in the match with KO having little offense and Lashley won via submission but didn't even have the hurt lock in properly when KO tapped out, about an hour later it was Seth turn and KO came out to attack Seth meaning Seth would win via a DQ meaning no Lashley in the title match however Pearce and Deville came out and declared that the match would restart under no DQ and so would Big E's match with Lashley later on, match restarted and Lashley speared Rollins two wins out of three. In the main event it was Big E v Lashley in a no DQ match and the match was good, KO and Seth predictably go involved but both got taken out but Big E and Lashley then MVP hit Big E on the back of the knee with his cane, Lashley hit a second spear and got the 1 2 3.

Elsewhere the rematch between Becky and Liv has been made for Day 1, Liv attacked Becky whilst the latter was doing a promo but Lynch put Liv's right arm in between the steel steps and attacked it so Lynch said 'Ha ha you're inured so we can now have the match' also if you saw angry Liv fan from last week you need to see the young Lynch fan from last night, more stuff with Edge and Miz too with Miz saying he is the first inductee to the 2022 Hall Of Fame (no idea if that's true!) Edge came out to confront him but some shenanigans happened, Miz used his wife Maryse as a human shield and she wasn't happy so she slapped him after.

Austin Theory is still doing stuff with Vince and messing with Finn Balor's head, Vince must like Theory a lot! Also Veer Mahaan is still coming to Raw, those promos started on October 25th! is he walking to Raw from India or something?!?

Can't really thing of anything else that note-worthy, Gable Stevenson was in the crowd and don't forget he was drafted to raw but hasn't made an in-ring appearance yet (he must still be in training) Raw is Okay right now but its Big E, Rollins, Owens and Lashley keeping the show together. It was another low attendance for the show as well with the hard camera side taped off

WWE Title match at Day 1 is looking too much like 2018 Fastlane where they just kept throwing names into the match but the more they throw in, the more I don't see anyone defeating Big E . I'll be surprised if E loses.

I think it should've stuck to being a Triple Threat, Lashley feels too out of place in this storyline right now.

Katsuyori Shibata has been cleared to have a proper match for the first time since his near-fatal hematoma in 2017. Working the first night of Wrestle Kingdom 16, opponent TBD.

Kevin Owens isn't going anywhere. He has resigned with WWE.

Be interesting to see what convinced KO to do so

New multi year deal for Owens, I'm delighted for him and he is one of my favourites in WWE. Hope its a pay rise as well as he deserves it,

Roman Reigns has fired Heyman as his special counsel last night, it was after what went down with Heyman and Lesnar last week, Reigns hit Heyman with a Superman Punch and tried to conchairto him but Lesnar came out and ran riot and hit Reigns with two F5's.

Drew McIntyre v Madcap Moss has been made for Day 1 (I think) There was a good tag team match between Toni Storm & Sasha Banks and Charlotte & Shotzi in which Storm pinned Charlotte.

I was only able to catch that segment and the tag match before that. I am preparing to graduate today, so I needed time to get ready.

That last segment was great and the Chicago crowd played their part, they were superb.

So WWE this week then, I probably wont be able to watch much because of work and Christmas. I wonder if this Friday's Smackdown will be live or taped, its on Christmas Eve so it should be taped really!

Ah the good old outdated heel dynamic.

Kevin Owens: "Hey Seth, the reason I'm heel is because you framed me and tricked everyone to not trusting me but now I'm heel like you, we're the best of friends let's beat up Lashley"

Bianca Belair hit the KOD on Doudrop, it was as impressive as it sounds and the crowd erupted when it happens, felt like a big moment.

AJ and Omos officially split up and will face each other next week, its feels kinda rushed but I've read that WWE have big plans for both in 2022, also AJ is randomly on NXT tonight facing Grayson Waller.

Also last night Vince said to Austin Theory: I've got no problem firing you, I like firing people'. 💀💀

Smackdown tonight has a women's title match between Charlotte and Toni Storm plus a 12-man IC title number one contenders gauntlet match.

No Idea if the show is live or taped...with it being Christmas Eve.

It's taped the previous night. I looked at the Spoilers. However seems like several segments were taped separately as the Spoilers are very light.

Sami Zayn is number one contender for the Intercontinental title after winning the gauntlet match, he did enter it last but had a good little bout with Ricochet and Ricochet went through four opponents, Drew Gulak lasted six seconds after getting Brogue kicked by Sheamus and there were some good little matches throughout.

Heyman gave a brilliant interview with Kayla Braxton where he looked terrible and said he hadn't slept all week, he also said that Roman threw him and his belongings out the of locker room last week and that he will go to NXT to find another star and bring him up (that would be great!) Heyman was great and his facial expressions were on point! They also showed a tribute video package on him that were better than they do for most Hall Of Famers!

Charlotte predictably retained her women's title against Toni Storm with a roll up, it was a good match and Toni was good, might be a rematch at Day 1. The main event was a Miracle on 34th street fight which is becoming a tradition in WWE this time of year, it was a six man tag between New Day & McIntyre v Usos & Moss and it was a lot of fun and highlights were Corbin and Moss getting messed up with Eggnog and Kofi getting sandwiched by Xmas trees, McIntyre got the win with a claymore on Moss. They finished by throwing shirts into the crowd.

Show was only 1 hour 30 and not two hours and it was quite good.
