Pre-show is on, no changes to the card and a kick-off show match hasn't been announced, Cory Graves has tweeted that he will be in the men's rumble match, and Bad Bunny has been pictured backstage

Didn't watch, did Reigns interfere?

Edit because I think the "Kofi magic elimination save" spot was possibly botched
Editing edit because lolbrockwins

Reading these results, glad I didn't watch, this was the most boring outcome possible and a waste of a Men's Royal Rumble

You can tell that Kofi was disappointed in himself from the botch. I feel sorry for him.

I think the saving grace is the Sarah Logan/Liv Morgan reunion and the Mixed tag match.

Yeah general reaction on Twitter to the show was that it wasn't great, and I agree with that.

Both Rumble matches were underwhelming, the Women's match fell flat once Sasha was surprisingly eliminated early on and whilst there were some nice pops for the returning legends (Mickie got a huge pop!) the whole match just wasn't great and Ronda winning it was a bit predictable even if she looked good on her return, also quite a few of those returning stars only got a few minutes if that.

As for the men's rumble match I just knew Lesnar was be an entrant, the match was ticking along Okay I thought until he entered with some nice moments such as Johnny Knoxville briefly, Couldn't understand why Shane McMahon was there though and the Kofi thing was definitely a botch unfortunately for him also both Big E and Randy Orton deserved better, you just knew that Lesnar would win when he entered at number 30!

Reigns v Rollins was my match of the night and I actually didn't mind the finish too much, Rollins coming out with the SHEILD entrance was perfect trolling and the match had great emotion and storytelling, would love for them to have another match. Plus later on it was Roman who got involved to cost Lesnar the WWE title with Heyman turning on him! Women's title match was good with a great finish from Becky and the mixed tag was really good too and did exactly what it needed to do.

And that's basically it, also though the Wrestlemania sign caught fire twice after both pyro shots, during the Women's title match the sign was lowered and the seating directly below was evacuated so they could extinguish the fire, and it happened again later on.

My opinion about the Lesnar thing is that it would have been more fun if he had to earn the title shot in the Elimination Chamber next month.

If you ask me Lesnar never really needed to earn the title shot for Wrestlemania. Reigns costing him the title can mean unfinished business that could easily mean 'Mania. Instead Reigns would weasel himself out of being in the Elimination Chamber again like last year trying to not go through it before facing Lesnar

This reminds me of No Way Out 2009 when the PPV was centred around one storyline.

Difference being in No Way Out 2009 the one storyline lead to a lot of other storylines being established and no one looked bad (except maybe Kofi Kingston). Here, only Seth Rollins looked good out of everyone who wasn't in the Love Triangle and every wrestler now feels lost

Also, it didn't waste a Royal Rumble and made the Elimination Chamber matches more unpredictable and exciting

I don't know, Vince seems to have a hard on for Reigns vs. Lesnar to be a success.

He seemed to have an opening for it with fans accepting Lesnar at Summerslam but seem to have now turned.

While I still majority blame WWE for their god awful storytelling and focusing solely on one storyline, it's hard not to say the fans brought this upon themselves. Brock Lesnar sticks around, fans don't like it, he disappears, fans wants him, he comes back, rinse and repeat

According to reports, Brock Lesnar was the only option they had as there isn't any plans for the WWE Championship whatsoever as of now. They only have Rousey and Brock vs. Reigns in mind.

I guess Big Es cash in was really just for a cheap ratings spike with no actual thought put into it.

This was the biggest fear I had when they decided to merge Raw and Smackdown writers back in 2020.

Bobby Lashley will defend the WWE title in the Elimination Chamber match, no other participants named yet so that will be interesting.

Riddle was apparently originally planned to win the men's rumble match.

Shane McMahon is back for a run in WWE and will be on Raw brand, Austin Theory seems likely opponent at 'Mania with the current Theory/Vince McMahon thing going on.

Honestly Riddle winning sounds like that would've been so much more interesting having tension in RK-Bro over the WWE Championship. Of course what I got seems to conflict with yours but now thinking about a possible Riddle win and how great it would be

We now know all the competitors in that WWE title chamber match.

It started off with Lashley on Raw bragging about winning the title (great suit he had on!) but then Lesnar interrupted in full combat gear saying he was going after Reigns and Heyman at Mania but it would be title for title and that he wanted a rematch for WWE title against Lashley on Raw last night and goaded Lashley by calling him chicken ****, MVP calmed Lashley down and they walked away but Adam Pearce then said that Lesnar would be in that chamber match.

There were three qualification matches and Seth Rollins just declared that he would be in match based off his performance v Reigns, Austin Theory surprisingly beat Kevin Owens in the good match to qualify, Riddle v Otis become a qualifier after Gable won the scooter race in the academic challenge (Otis cost Riddle in the race, Orton wasn't there) and Riddle won in another good match and lastly AJ Styles beat Rey Mysterio clean with Styles clash to qualify.

So to recap the six men in the WWE title chamber match are Lashley, Riddle, Rollins, Lesnar, Theory and Styles.

Main event segment was Ronda Rousey's return to Raw (she will be on the Raw brand) she hasn't made her mind up about who to face at Mania but was interrupted by Becky, Rousey then gave tossed Lynch and said she'll give her answer on Smackdown this Friday....but then Lita came out and challenged Lynch to a match for the women's title at the chamber PLE and that match has been made, didn't see that coming!

And that was basically Raw last night, taken up mostly by the three qualifying matches and the scooter race which was entertaining, Raw was in Cincinnati which was timely considering what happened over the weekend, which made for a pretty hot crowd.

I hope their solution to no WWE Championship plans isn't to just put it on Lesnar and have a winner take all/title unification match with Reigns. That idea more hurt than helped the Women's Triple Threat at Wrestlemania 35

So Shane McMahon was one of the producers for the men's rumble match and was apparently a nightmare, He openly buried Jamie Noble and wanted to book the match around himself including himself in the match whilst doing so, this got a lot of heat backstage and now its been reported that Shane has been let go by WWE.

He was supposed to have a run on Raw and be in the Elimination Chamber PLE but now that's not the case, big mistake from Vince to have Shane involved in the first place, this is a bit of a mess now.

So, Brian Kendrick was supposed to wrestle Jon Moxley on Dynamite tonight.

Then, some delightful (/s) hot takes from the past resurfaced:

Youtube video from Highspots Wrestling Network was deleted but TL;DR 9/11 and Sandy Hook denier

I really don't like these resurfacing controversies when it comes to stuff being said (not actions like the Ric Flair controversy we recently had). That was even from 2011. That's over 10 years ago..

I'm not saying the people who would be offended by this need to "let it go" or "stop being sad", what he said back then is horrible and I imagine if Brian Kendrick was a wrestler you like and you found out about this, it would hurt, but I'm more against that this assumes the person hasn't changed in 10 years without any reason to assume they haven't changed. If this was said a year ago then I definitely see how this would cause questions on Kendrick character but we don't know if he still holds this view 10 years after saying it.

It sounds like Shane has gone off the deep end...if he's done a fraction of what the stories say, dare I say he's bought into his own hype and wants more?

So I wont be able to watch Raw, Smackdown or NXT for much longer. I can explain but its a bit long winded...

The McMahon is kicking in :P

Jokes aside I remember years ago when he was considered the nice one amongst other wrestlers
