Only 5 matches? Guess the WarGames ones will be lengthy by how they're structured.
Quick Wiki hunt has the shortest WarGames match under the WWE banner being the first women's one at 27:24, with the others clocking in at at least a half-hour.

Unrelated but:

Match 1: Team Bianca win the Women's WarGames against Team Bayley

Match 2: AJ Styles won against Finn Balor

Match 3: Ronda Rousey retains the Smackdown Women's Championship against Shotzi

Match 4: Austin Theory wins the US Championship against Seth "Freakin" Rollins and Bobby Lashley

Match 5: The Bloodline win the Men's WarGames against The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens

I'd say this was a brilliant show. TBH, I didn't really care for the middle matches (except for Styles/Balor, that was good).

The men's war games match was fantastic, it was all about Sami and him turning his back on Kevin Owens and proving his loyalty to Roman and the Bloodline, great storytelling and emotion from all involved. 👍

All the other matches were really good too, except for maybe the Rousey/Shotzi match which could have easily happened on Smackdown.

Impact Creative: ayo Eric Young might be WWE-bound again how do we write him off?
Also Impact Creative: why not kayfabe murder?

Ricochet won the Smackdown World Cup and now gets an IC title shot against Gunther, feels like it was a boring and safe choice to have Ricochet win, he is great and I am a fan but he lost the title to Gunther and they have had two matches for it previously, Escobar would have been a better choice IMO.

Tegan Nox returned to help out Liv Morgan with Damage CTRL, there is no WWE PLE until the Royal Rumble on January 28th so the content on Raw and Smackdown will be interesting till then.

So the reason William Regal has finished up with AEW is the unusually wholesome want to work with his son in WWE. Won't be allowed on-screen for 2023 but no bad blood between either side.

So it's been reported that Sasha Banks is set to appear at Wrestle Kingdom.

Glad that's the case. Too much ill will in the business already.

Hmmm... maybe an entrant for that IWGP Women's title thing that kinda fell out of memory?

Its been reported that WWE's Matt Riddle has failed two drugs tests and is now in rehab, the attack from Solo Sikoa on Raw a few weeks back is a way to write him off TV, no idea when he will return.

I hope he gets the help he needs, it has been a rough six months for him away from the ring with his wife divorcing him and walking out with his kids.

So it appears the reason Mandy Rose dropped the NXT Womens Championship is because of her being released over the kinda spicy stuff that was leaked from her FanTime account.

What?!

Edit, so just been catching up on the news, I feel like WWE releasing Mandy Rose was very harsh, a suspension would have sufficed, feels like the wrong move and I'm not the only one judging by the reaction on the socials. Rose can be proud of the title reign as it was great.

Not quite sure what you mean, she defended her title in a match with Roxanne Perez and lost so dropped the title, the match was not scheduled for last night and it was rushed though.

Apparently Rose was making more money on her fan page than she did in WWE, and I have heard that a few of her posts on there recently have been a bit risque.

Despite all this I do feel happy for Roxanne. She is only 20 and has got an amazing future, they obviously think highly of her.

This isn't Vince and Co. anymore, and from what I've been reading the content was pornographic. This is the first instance of this Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon have had the reigns to do anything. If there's a contract provision against it, then it's a breach.

Also, rather telling, Mandy made no apologies afterwards. Reportedly she made more money on that site than she did with the WWE. If so, I don't blame her for doing it, but we know that if it was Vince, he'd only be pissed because he wasn't in it and WWE didn't get some of her money from it.

Update on Mandy Rose: once again I look like the idiot I am.

Word is now that Rose had supposedly asked for her release weeks ago, though also supposedly WWE "failed" to leak that. Take it for what you will.

Also, someone brought Mandy's content up to...HBK, who I guess is heading NXT, and he decided to take the belt off her that night.

So yes she pretty much knew what she was doing, but my defense was once again misplaced.

Important to point out that the stuff that she was fired for wasn't actually posted on her site, it was leaked.

If they had a problem with whatever she posted then they could have had a word with her to tone it down or even take some things down from her site, but they just fired her. it just seems very harsh and a massive over-reaction to me.

John Cena will be returning to WWE on the 30th December edition of Smackdown, he will be in action too as he teams with Kevin Owens to take on Roman and Sami, it will keep up Cena's record of having at least one TV match per year-every year since 2002.

Hit Row's Top Dolla had a pretty nasty botch last night when he was meant to take a dive over the top rope but his legs gave out, he got caught up on the ropes and took a bad landing on the ring apron, he got checked out after and he's okay, Gunther had a successful title defense against Ricochet in a really good match.

I was worried he really hurt himself. That botch looked nasty.

Uncle Howdy finally made a physical appearance as well while LA Knight attacked Wyatt.

Also, the 20th Anniversary of Tribute to the Troops is on Fox in an hour and a half! Not sure what matches are in the show, but I'm sure they won't disappoint.

Tribute To The Troops Results
Match 1 - Braun Strowman Def LA Knight
Match 2 - Rousey and Baszler Def Tamina and Emma
Match 3 - McIntyre, Sheamus and Ricochet Def Imperium

There won't be a regular episode of Raw this coming Monday, its the day after Christmas Day (known here as Boxing Day) so the production team will get some time off, there will be an 'absolute best of 2022' compilation instead.

I think there is a regular episode of Smackdown tonight though.

Charlotte returned last night and won the SD women's title from Rousey in an impromptu match, Rousey had just beaten Raquel Rodriguez in a good match before Charlotte returned to challenge her, it sounded like Charlotte had new ring music too.

The tag match main event was good fun, Owens got the pin after he stunned Zayn, Cena did the bear minimum but hit the AA on Reigns, Drew McIntyre also returned last night after a few weeks out injured, Solo Sikoa beat Sheamus in a distraction filled match, Bray Wyatt and LA Knight will meet in a Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble, Uncle Howdy surprisingly hit Bray with the Sister Abigail.

AJ Styles will unfortunately be out for a while after breaking his ankle during a live show this week.

There was also a botch during the Strowman/Gunther segment. Ricochet actually hit him with the chair and either drew blood or went unconscious. Luckily there were enough refs and officials to distract from it.

Yeah I saw that on social media, Gunther did draw blood, it was an accident though.

Nakamura beat the Great Muta in Muta's retirement match.

There are some reports that Seth Rollins did suffer a legitimate knee injury during the main event of Raw last night, hopefully it isn't true as he does have a history of knee injuries but the ref did put up the X sign when the show went off air and it did look like something happened during the match. The match did finish as planned though and it was a great match too with Theory pinning Seth after some shenanigans including a ref bump and Theory cheating.

Good show last night.
