I feel for Barrett, out with a separated Shoulder and stripped of his IC title it never rains but it pours for him...
I'm a big fan of Wade. Would love to see him as champ but any time he gets momentum he gets injured.

I get the feeling he'll be placed upon the same field as Ziggler.

One thing I did really enjoy was the Real Americans face turn. I'm not American but I do admire the patriotism of them. That collective "WE THE PEOPLE", impressive.

My thoughts on what's happening in WWE right now

  • So the Miz is back, I've never rated him as a wrestler, I like him as a character and he is good on the mic but he is not a good wrestler for me
  • Another guy returning was Jericho, used to be a fan of his but now I think he is a bit washed up and to focussed on being a rockstar that being a top wrestler, when was the last time he won the big matches at the company??, that said I was excited to see him back and he has one of the best entrance music the WWE have ever had!
  • As noted on Raw, Daniel Bryan's recovery is taking slightly longer than planned, no idea when he will be back but Its thought that they wont rush him back, I reckon he will be out for the rest of the summer
  • a couple of weeks ago, they released all that talent but the Great Khali remains....why is he still there?!
  • is Cody Rhodes as Stardust the creepiest thing in Wrestling right now??
  • Loved the staredown between Reigns and Triple H at the end of Raw, I read online that they are thinking about having them in a match as one of their Summerslam main event, could easily happen after last nighT

So slightly crazy developments this week, I think It was yesterday that WWE fired Emma and reinstated her...in the same day! this was after she was arrested for shoplifting on Monday, they re-hired her after realising that it sent out a message that if any other employee there would do something like that then they would be fired, a lot of guys and girls there have done a lot worse and still kept their jobs...

....also after the incident, JTG sent out a tweet saying 'Good news that they have reinstated Emma....and if they are in a reinstating mood...'

He also said he'd offer her a place on the team, but they don't get caught.

Yeah, Network is USA only at this point.

In other news......

Sting@Sting38m
07.14.14

and the tweet prior contained this...

It's rumored to be in relation to their inclusions in WWE 2K15. With the WWE Network debuting a Monday Night Wars series in August, I'm guessing 2K has tied some of it into this year's video game.

CM Punk's contract is up on the 17th of July.....just saying....

So last night WWE had a house show at Madison Square Garden with an interesting main event, it was Cena v Wyatt in a Lumberjack match, 16 Lumberjacks with 8 picked by Triple H and 8 picked by Ric Flair (Trippers picked heels and Flair faces) Cena won but what happened during the match was Flair got involved and threw a few hard punches to Wyatt which busted him open below his left eye (he is ok, he needs stitches though) and Mark Henry returned and turned heel by slamming Cena shoulder first in to the ring post

In other news, Daniel Bryan's recovery isn't going well, the injury is affecting his right Shoulder now and he might need surgery on that too, I am getting quite worried about him..

That cryptic tweet that Sting sent? likely to be a trailer for WWE2K15 which he will be in, and not him making an appearance on Raw, sorry to disappoint...

So its the 17th which means that CM Punk's contract has expired, there has been no word from either him or the WWE since he left to say whether or not he will be back, I think its a real shame as I am such a big fan of him and I know some of you guys are too and I really do hope that he ill be back because I miss him and I think the WWE does too...and that's it, he is no longer a WWE employee...

I'll laugh if he goes to tna.

He's done with wrestling, and has been since the Royal Rumble. His back is pretty messed up apparently, so even if he did continue wrestling, he'd need surgery at some point.

BTW, his profile was moved to the Alumni section of WWE.com on the 15th.

Hall of fame next year like what edge did?

I think that's why they showed the Best In The World DVD on the network on Tuesday, because they knew he was leaving and it was like a last goodbye or something, but I really do hope something happens and he comes back!

I did read something about that on Twitter, him v Cena at SummerSlam has been on the cards for a while now...

Battleground tonight, here is the final card...

Kickoff Show
Cameron v Naomi

Rusev v Jack Swagger

Seth Rollins v Dean Ambrose

Chris Jericho v Bray Wyatt

Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Championship
-
Cesaro, Kofi Kingston, The Great Khali, Rob Van Dam, Dolph Ziggler, Big E, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Alberto Del Rio, Bo Dallas, Sheamus, Fandango, Sin Cara, Zack Ryder, The Miz, Diego (Los Matadores), R-Truth, Xavier Woods, Heath Slater, Titus O'Neil

Divas Championship
AJ Lee (c) v Paige

2 out of 3 Falls Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
The Usos (c) v Luke Harper and Erick Rowan

Fatal Four Way match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
John Cena (c) v Kane v Randy Orton v Roman Reigns

Though Battleground was pretty good last night, Usos v Harper/Rowan was the best opening match at a PPV I have ever seen! Jericho v Wyatt was good but I'm surprised that Jericho won so cleanly, Fatal four way match was good too...

Two big bits of Wrestling news today Ill start with the slightly smaller one and that's WWE have signed Fergul 'Prince' Devitt...

...but the much bigger news is that Spike TV will NOT renew TNA's TV contract with them once it expires in October, which could have MAJOR implications for the company that has been in financial trouble in the last year or so, the TV ratings have dipped over this Summer but last Thursdays show was the highest ratings since April, The company need to find a new channel in the next two months or that could be it for them, the overseas contract wont be affected but wont be lucrative enough to keep the company going..

I can't stand watching TNA but no real wrestling fan would want a wrestling promotion to go out of business.

Also people are raving about GFW, I think Jeff is waiting for TNA to fold and snap up the good talent like Roode and Storm, Samoa Joe before announcing his wrestlers.
