try this ->
1. turn off your wheel, remove wheel usb from drivehub and drivehub usb from console then turn on your console.
2. if you at mainscreen, plug in drivehub usb and look if the xbox pad light up 1 or 2 times, if yes, then plug in wheel usb to drivehub and turn on your wheel.

Nada. Updated to beta firmware and went through the setup as you described. Controller turns on when connected to drivehub and plugged into system. Plug wheel into wheel port, turn wheel on and it doesn't finish its boot up and just turns back off after about 20 seconds.

If I plug the wheel into the controller port the wheel does finish the boot up process but doesn't do anything even after hitting the ps button on the rim. I have ps5 startup as default but turning it to pc mode also didn't work.

Please look at my response on the last page. You need at least beta 9 for it to work

Once you flash to beta 9, you can plug everything back in and power the Xbox from the front panel and then turn on your wheel. You will be able to use the wheel to login and navigate your Xbox.

What the crap. I swore I picked the highest one on the list. You're right, the update screen needs some work lol. I found it now, newest version is now 2.1.2-beta.12 I'm a dummy.

Let's try this AGAIN

The tool is kinda confusing lol. It should now be working perfectly for you, have fun!

It works! Dude I've been waiting so long to try forza out with my g pro. I'd been holding onto my g923 purely for forza, except forza has sucked balls. I have to say it feels much better with a solid direct drive wheel. Not as good as gt7 but at least playable!

Thank you for your help!!!

Forza only uses the trueforce api for the RPM lights on your wheel base. No clue why they aren't using the rest of the api like GT7 does. Forza does a great job with the FFB and it would be amazing if they fully used the trueforce to get the total feel out of the wheel.

You're welcome!

@tyoungbl This guide will give you a good baseline to setup your wheel for Forza

After spending a few hours on fm23 I have to say it's like a whole new game with the logi g pro wheel and the most recent updates to car progression and the game AI. Guess I'll have to play it now.

Having spent all my time in gt7 with the capped FB I had forgotten what 11nm felt like and was taken by surprise at what the full power of the wheel could do.

Thank you drivehub and thanks to everyone who helped me troubleshoot!

Awesome! Really happy to hear it's working well for you now. I'm about to try it out again just to see what it feels like because of the ffb and not having trueforce.

Can you do me a favor and see if you can put your wheel into the g923 compatibility mode? I'm curious if it will work for you.... I can't get it to work on PS5 with my setup. It might work for you since you are using a PS/PC mode of the wheel base

I have a ps5 g pro setup and had a logi g923 that I used for xbx. I had previously used the drivehub to play gt7 on the g923 before I got the pro, and was able to use the pro wheel on forza in g923 mode

Not sure what I can do to help but when I had to rig up the xbox g923 for use on ps5 I had to get that wired hori controller to use in the controller port. I would assume that would still be the case for the logi pro.

This GT7 FFB cap on the G PRO wheel everyone is talking about?....Does putting it in G923 compatibilty mode remove the cap? If so, is the FFB the same as Pro mode? And does the Trueforce still work the same in G923 mode compared to Pro mode?

Yeah there is a cap on this wheel for GT7. I just tried f1 2023 and had full 11nm torque, and that felt so very good!

I can't answer any of your questions about the G923 mode because it's not supported with my pc only wheel. You can try it out if you have the ps version of the wheel.

Oh I see, is the option to select the G923 mode not available on your PC only wheelbase then, when using on a console? You can select G923 mode when on a PC though correct?

Also, I know you need to put the wheel in G923 Mode before you start the game. I'm actually surprised the G923 compatibilty mode isn't working as i thought it would have, even using a PC only base with the drivehub.

It's just a compatibility issue between the DD11 and the drivehub. It's not really a big issue but I think there might be some kind of work being done on it right now. I'll let you know if I find anything out.

I can switch between pro and g923 without any issues on the PC.

It's honestly something that I don't recommend getting concerned over. This wheel works great in pro mode for GT7.

@Podger thank you for your contributions to this forum. In this way we can feel more part of the Drivehub community since the official forum has closed its dedicated channel.
May I ask if you have a way to share the changelog of firmware updates here? Thank you.

Last update today adds support for x360 burnout revenge.

Ok no problem. For the past updates there’s a public changelog somewhere?

@Podger do you happen to have a copy of Ridge Racer 6 (x360) ?
On Thrustmaster's site it's said that the game supports force feedback via backwards compatibility but I'm not sure that it even supports it on the x360. Could be the case as the Burnout game that only have ffb via backwards compatibility?

Ridge Racer™ 6 – Xbox 360 backward compatibility
(On this game we recommend to set the wheel's angle of rotation at 270°& turn on the official gamepad controller, in addition to the wheel, in order to get Force Feedback effects on the wheel)

Got Drive Hub with Hori PS4 mini controller yesterday, and wanted to play GT7 on PS5 with it.

I've got TS-PC wheel with T-LCM pedals with latest firmware on both Drive Hub and wheel.

The force feedback just feels absolutely awful. You don't really get any tire/road feedback. It's very hard to know when your wheels are locking up when braking. And when your car is understeering, you get arcade feeling vibration on the wheel. The game recognizes the wheel as Thrustmaster TGT, so I'd expect a bit better FFB out of it. Especially as I've played GT6 with GIMX on this wheel and in my opinion even it gives more feedback on the wheel than GT7.

I tried various firmwares on Drive Hub. One older firmware emulated T300 in GT7, but it also felt bad. Also tried changing FFB settings from Thrustmaster control panel, but they didn't really improve the tire/road feedback.

Does anyone have idea if I can make the FFB feel better in GT7, or is the FFB just so terrible in the game? Even with Dualsense I feel much more what the tires are doing.

Did you try any of the beta ones? You have to unselect the use latest version to see them

It is just bad unless you have a TGt with DFB or a Logitech with trueforce or the new fanatec what ever they call it.
There is no road noise in regular ffb of any great note.
That said, have you turned off the assists, in GT7 you get **** all FFB when they are on.

Im not sure if im missing something. I have the TS PC racer, with the F1 add-on (the old one).
However the 2 buttons on the top, one with the K and one with the PL button are assigned to throttle and brake.
I cant seem to change that. Also, some buttons are not even functioning. (PUMP button, -1 button, button 11 on the base and button 12 on the base)
Everything else works fine, is there any fix or is this a known problem?

Also the issue with the stock t300 wheel, the L2 and R2 buttons.
Anyone know why this occurs? Latest beta firmware.

GT7 have a very basic and poor ffb, there is only carweight and a fake ruttle. the physic engine of this game simply dont output awesome detailed ffb like in automobilista2 or assetto corsa.

Depends on what wheel you use. Logitech g pro is quite good in this game

Since it should be emulating the TS-XW, i assume they should work right? This is the 'button mapping' of the F1 addon, but that doesnt accord to the mapping of the buttons.
Yes I changed the wheel in the TM software from advanced to normal. But since it does it with all wheels im not sure if im missing something.
