Anyone have problems with th8a?
I've the exact opposite problem on 2.0.8 beta 9, what fw version are you using? (Also T500RS, PS5, GT7)T500RS on PS5, GT7:
So i managed to make it work. If i connect the TH8A to the accessory port of the drivehub i have force feedback on the wheel.
Without the shifter, i have no FFB. I have no idea why. The interesting part is that it doesn't feel at all the same as on the PS4 GT7 version, without the drivehub. It feels more loose and less precise on drivehub. I'm running beta 9.
Download the update tool from here.Does anyone know where I can download 2.0.8 beta 9 - that might solve the issues I'm having?

That’s strange, me too lasest fw for the wheel and th8a, but cannot get the ffb working correctly with the shifter connected to the drive hub. This is so random.I'm on beta 9, latest firmware for wheel, 47 and latest updates for ps5 and gt7(1.0.8)
What I find weird is that in one out of 4 races the ffb is not working so I have to restart the race. This usually fixes itThat’s strange, me too lasest fw for the wheel and th8a, but cannot get the ffb working correctly with the shifter connected to the drive hub. This is so random.
I play with a CSW v2 and drivehub on PS4.Apologies if this has been asked before, I've tried a dozen Google searches for this question but I cannot find the right phrasing that brings up anything relevant.
I have a CSW 2.5 and drivehub and use them on ps4/ps5. Am I supposed to turn the wheel on first and then turn on the console, or turn the console on and then the wheel? Or does it not matter?
So I found out something interesting, if i press the accelerator during the countdown before it reaches 1, i have no ffb. If i press the pedal between 1 and start, all is good. Really strangeT500RS on PS5, GT7:

Thank you! I ask because I never really pay attention to which I do first, but sometimes randomly half the buttons on my wheel won't work in game (like d-pad and X will work but O and start won't) and I had the thought last night that it might be due to me turning things on in the wrong order. Yesterday when I was having this issue I turned the wheel on first and then the console, so I'll try it the other way around and see if that fixes it consistently.I play with a CSW v2 and drivehub on PS4.
I always start the console first by pressing the button on the PS4 and wait till the login screen appears and THEN start my wheel. Works perfectly everytime.
That I was suspecting yesterday, I loose ffb too when I restart/start a race and I was thinking’s something like that, after leaving the pedals alone when I pause before retry or after failing a mission / license stage before pressing retry. So I found out something interesting, if i press the accelerator during the countdown before it reaches 1, i have no ffb. @Pdoger - I have the Fanatect CSL Elite (Xbox Version) and I cannot get my wheel to work in Fanatec Mode. I can get it to work where it emulates a Logitech wheel. Do I need to have a PS rim? Is there an option to get GT7 to recognize my wheel as a Fanatec without the PS5 rim? When I was in the game I hit start and settings in the middle of a race. Hit the "mode" button on my base to switch it to Xbox mode. It shows up as a Fanatec but it doesn't function in the game.
I have horrible oscillation going straight, even running the fanatec recommended settings. I don't have an option to drop Drl to -1 or -2 as that is not a feature in my wheel. I updated to the latest firmware last night but I didn't check to see which .08 version it was.
If I lower the force feedback down to 50 oscillation goes away but the wheel feels lifeless.
You need to switch modes on the Drivehub itself between Logitech and Fanatec modes. To do so, hold Start + Select(share button) on whatever rim you have attached for a -few seconds- until you see your wheel display disconnect and then show either an L or F flash. That lets you know what mode you’re in(might also say 1 or 2 instead depending on rim). Do it again to swap back.
Pretty sure you need your base to be in comp mode too. Not Xbox or pc mode.
Yea the lack of feel of rumble strips and road is a problem that may be for Polyphony to solve. Some have mentioned it is like that as well with GT7 supported wheels, but not enough comments to actually gauge if it is a Drivehub or game issue. Hoping it’s addressed somehow though.Thank you so much! That worked!
Wish there was a bit more road feel/vibration and ruble strip. I updated to the latest beta. 9 from 1.07. Is there an advantage to using beta 8?
I can confirm that it is a game issue. I started with my TS-XW through the drivehub and now have a GT DD Pro. The FFB detail is extremely lacking for both.Yea the lack of feel of rumble strips and road is a problem that may be for Polyphony to solve. I have not tried beta 8 or others. just beta 9. It's really annoying. Hope it will get fixed soon. Not sure if the drivehub team is aware of this. That I was suspecting yesterday, I loose ffb too when I restart/start a race and I was thinking’s something like that, after leaving the pedals alone when I pause before retry or after failing a mission / license stage before pressing retry.
It does seam to be a bug imho.
Does polyphony have a bug reporting area? There has to be a poc for a tpm/pm somewhere...Yea the lack of feel of rumble strips and road is a problem that may be for Polyphony to solve. Same for me on beta 9. Restarting GT7 also fixes the issue, without rebooting the drivehub but of course you lose more time. Also having issues on PS5
Using T500RS and T3PA Pro pedals into drivehub with hori mini gamepad.
Game generally works great with ffb and understeer effects.
However intermittently loses ffb altogether, or only has a centre spring return effect.
Sometimes pausing the game and unpausing kicks in back into life.
Sometimes the drivehub needs rebooting.
Never happens mid race, only ever happens when the menus have been accessed (pitstops count as menus accessed, I've had it go off during pits on a sport race)
Obviously is a bit annoying if you are mid sport race and have to pause the game to let the cpu drive whilst the drivehub reboots, or same thing at the start of a race.
T500RS updated to latest firmware and using 2.08 beta 8 on the drivehub
It's a Polyphony issue. Not a DriveHub issue.@Podger I hope you can find a way to increase the FFB for those of us who are Thrustmaster users since you don't feel anything about the asphalt and kerbs 😢😫. I use a TSXW with PS4. I am a Drivehub user from the GTSport. Thank you very much.
HiI just noticed that in GT Sport, PD raised the deadzones for the Fanatec pedals in one update, so maybe that's what will fix this issue for GT7 as well.
But until that, maybe it's possible to raise the deadzones in the DriveHub (or the CoPilot) software?
The game feels pretty numb in Fanalogic mode.
The biggest difference is DD wheels being detected as CSL DD instead of CSL Elite to get a DD signal instead of belt-driven. Don't know how much of a difference it really makes. Otherwise, it seems fairly similar.@Podger - May I please ask what the difference between beta 8 & 9 is? I am using a CSW 2.5 on PS4 using beat 8.
And this is why I just love the Drive Hub! Amazing support, thank you @Podger!Hi
I put an update up for co-pilot.. use the same update tool as you do the DriveHub.. Hold the button down and connect USB..
