That has to be the dummest reply one can use in a discussion about dlc. (Sorry its your post I picked) No your not forced to buy it, unless you want the WHOLE game. You dont need two parents to raise a child, but that doesnt make it a good idea.
When a game comes with the DLC on the dvd when shipped its a cheap money grab plan and simple.
Nope, the dumbest thing is to buy something without exactly knowing what your doing.
Want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want, I can no longer hear it. People do always want stuff, they always want the best and they always want to do as less as possible for it. People's expectations are ridiculous to say at least.
The following doesn't really relate to this topic, but this damn behaviour goes even so far that certain people start to flame about f2p (free to play) games. Really? REALLY?
Oh you want to play a whole game, I feel so sorry. Let's go a bit further: Why would you need a PS3 at all? Isn't the PSN Plus service about the same? You don't want to complain about users who pay for the plus service get more content? No? If you go and buy a, just as example, remote control which doesn't include batteries. Do you go to the store owners and complain about the product not having batteries included although it's written on the product that it does not include any? Why not buying another one which does have batteries or simply buying nothing? Ahh, because you WAAAAAAANT!
Dumbest reply...
Please tell me what your profession is, I'm sure I can give you some wonderful examples why your mentality doesn't work the other way round, when YOU are affected.
It's easy to take, hard to give.
You dont need two parents to raise a child, but that doesnt make it a good idea.
Damn, this sounds so intellectual, but how does it relate to the topic? Two parent's... ehh you want one thing and complain about having two (game and dlc), so you actually want only one universal thing. Basically one neutral parent which plays the role of mother and father... Woah! You just refuted your own statement.
Anyhow, while it doesn't need two parents to raise a child, it very much needs two to conceive a child. You know what? I don't like this idiom at all.
No, it happens to be true. The option to by DLC is just that, its an option. As such its not dumb at all, you may disagree with it but you may want to temper you tone in future.
👍
That very much depends on the nature of the game and the DLC.
👍
And sometimes its a better idea, that very much depends on the circumstances.
👍
Which is not universally true and as such is not a reason to dismiss all DLC.
See it as how it's done with several PC software distributions. Many of them come as full priced standard version with the option to unlock all (professional/advanced) features by buying the more expensive pro version key. Or look at how shareware works, it's free to use in a limited functionality (time, limited functions, adds, etc), but it gives the option to buy a key for the unrestricted version.
